Řízení lidí v multikulturním prostředí

The main objective of the thesis was to define and analyze key aspects of managerial work in multicultural environment, in one of the Shared Services Center department, of multinational company based in Prague, Czech Republic. Further thesis aimed to define essential competencies of the successful manager and leader driving performance of multicultural department and provides recommendations to improve managerial performance in key aspects of manager s work such as communication, motivation, performance management and cross-cultural leadership. It is argued that presence of intercultural interactions between managers and their subordinates, impacts effectiveness of the managerial performance. Thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. First part of the thesis explores theoretical concepts regarding culture, communication, motivation and leadership with respect to multicultural environment specifics. In the second part, used research methods, conducted research analysis and outcomes are presented. Further in practical part recommendation towards analyzed aspects of managerial work that would lead to higher overall department performance are defined.

Analysis of strengthening intellectual property rights on selected economic indicators in selected world countries in years 2013 to 2015

This paper analyzes the relationship between the protection of intellectual property rights, and selected economic indicators between 2013 and 2015. The topic is the impact of intellectual property protection to economic growth and development. The theoretical part analyzes the different views on the issue of intellectual property, its forms of protection and analysis of international protection. It also defines GDP, GDP per capita, foreign direct investment and research and development expenditure. The practical part analyzes the correlation between these economic indicators and index of intellectual property rights, as an indicator of the strength of protection of intellectual property rights in selected countries. The work focuses on industrial property.

The aim of the thesis is to find out how strong have monetary or other incentives effects on prosocial behavior and conduct of men and women. The work deals with how different behaviors in regard to gender in areas such as altruism and regular support private charities, participation in volunteer activities, social preference and concern for cultural heritage, when an image motivation is on place or is not, and if the behavior is incentivized or not incentivized.

Benefits of nursery school for Children with autism spectrum disorder in sel-care

The bachelor thesis concerns benefits of a nursery school for children with autistic spectrum disorder with focus on development of self-care. The thesis concentrates on characteristics of autistic spectrum disorders and it's interconnection with practical aspects of developing self-care skills in a nursery school. Individual chapters describe the definition, diagnostics and related triad of problem areas, the spectrum of individual autistic disorders and the most frequently used methods and strategies of training and education of childrenwith autistic spectrum disorders. The second part of the thesis provides space for individual areas of self-care, cultivated in the nursery school. Individual chapters demonstrate detailed descriptions of practising self-care habits and skills, applied in daily routines of the nursery school. The thesis bases on published works in the area of autistic spectrum, as well as on practical experience of the author, obtained in several years of practice as a teacher in a special class for children with autistic spectrum disorders in a nursery school. Web Application Development with Spring Framework

The thesis is concerned with a comparison between a Java framework called Spring and Grails, Zend, Nette, NodeJS, Play, Symfony, OpenXava frameworks described in the theses of Odehnal [1], Kočárek [2], Kadlec [3], Dočkal [4], Šimon [5]. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part introduces the Spring ecosystem and its individual modules to the reader. This part also outlines trends and estimates Spring position and popularity among other Java frameworks. The practical part focuses on web application development based on the criteria defined in the Odehnal's thesis [1]. The sample application shows the style of development in the Spring framework and its functionality and capabilities. Based on the gained experience during the sample application development, Spring is next compared to the other frameworks mentioned earlier and included into the previous comparison. The comparison criteria are specified in the Odehnal's thesis [1] and consist of 4 areas. First of all, there is a basic framework differences comparison. Next, there is an architecture comparison. The third area involves a comparison of work with the framework which also contains both objective criteria and personal estimation. The last part is dedicated to a comparison related to framework support, available literature and overall popularity. The result of this thesis is a comparison of 8 frameworks including the created sample application, which should help the readers when selecting one of the them and should make it easier to orientate in the world of web frameworks.

The intention of this thesis is to analyse case studies and identify factors of successful succession in Czech family owned businesses (FOB). The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the subject and objective of my thesis. Second one deals with theoretical background of entrepreneurship, history of entrepreneurship in Czech Republic and last but not least with theoretical background of FOB. The third chapter is an analysis of researches about succession in FOB made in Czech Republic and also in other parts of world. Possibilities of using cloud technologies in the area of shararing economy and FinTech

This thesis is mapping in a detail and describes the current situation and prediction of the penetration of information technology based mostly on the cloud and blockchain technologies into the real global economy and identifying trends that affect these areas. Focus is primarily on socialization of services, concept of sharing economy and financial-technology (FinTech) companies. Next part describes the process of maturing of information technologies, which enables bypassing of costly intermediaries, who are replaced by other users or advanced algorithms in the fields, which werent fundamentally touched by ICT until now. Work intersects the knowledge of the of the IT industry and minor specialization from FFU VSE.

Selection method of on-premise IT infrastructure conception

The focus of this work is to create a method for the selection of the concept of on-premise IT infrastructure. The document is divided into six chapters, where the first is dedicated to brief introduction and definition of objectives of the work. The second chapter focuses on current state of the problem, which includes research of similar works and definitions of used terms. The third chapter is devoted to describing conceptions as the basis for the fourth chapter, which deals with construction of the method. The fifth chapter is devoted to the verification of the method in a real world environment and last chapter summarizes the whole thesis.

Employer branding in Building Industry

The Master's Thesis is focused on a modern trend in human resource management, employer branding, analysed as a general image of a company as employer, its working conditions and a preference of this company as a stable employer. The main goal is to review the range and relevance of employer branding within Czech building industry based on existing company and comparison with its competition. The first part describes theoretical definitions of employer branding and its instruments. The second part presents the empirical research done in Metrostav a.s., comparison with its competition and a questionnaire between civil engineering students and construction apprentices that was focused on their expectations of future employment in the building industry. In the end of the thesis the research is evaluated and the improvements that would lead to empowerment of employer brand are suggested.
