Possible way to prepare nanoparticles from aerosols released at plasma deposition
Brožek, Vlastimil ; Mastný, L. ; Moravec, Pavel ; Ždímal, Vladimír
During plasma deposition of powdered metals or inorganic compounds using WSP® generator, they interact with the plasma having temperature between 25000 and 30000 K. As a result, they melt, evaporate, thermally decompose, get ionized and/or react chemically both with plasma-forming medium and with the surrounding atmosphere or carrier gas. An experimental apparatus was constructed enabling us to capture aerosol particles emitted from the surface of the free flying particles (FFP) heated in a stream of plasma. In this work we studied content, composition and size distribution of nanosized particles of Ag and oxides of Al, Ti, Cr and W, released during plasma deposition process. These particles were analyzed by dynamic light scattering - photon correlation spectroscopy using instrument MALVERN, and with aerosol spectrometers SMPS 3936 and APS 3321.Concentration of aerosols containing nanoparticles of silver or metal oxides with diameters below 100 nm was found to be in the range 85 to

Pachlová, Renata ; Kouřilová, Jana (advisor) ; Šťastná, Nikola (referee)
In the following dissertation I discuss the issue of European social resource as a main financial way for developing sphere of human resources. In this work is described the Operational Programme of Development of human resources (OP RLZ) that was realized in Czech republic in the year 2004-2006. In this Operational programme is this precedence:1: Interactive management of the employment. The next dissertation's part is focused to grant and national projects that were realized within the scope of this precedence at Středočeský district(county). Sequentially I indicate the realization of Interacive management of the employment at Kladno region. This region has specific position at Středočeský district because of the transformation of its economy in the 90th of last century that was influented by this changes so much (a bankrupt of Poldi Kladno factory, therefrom releasing of working forces and in the present high level of commute to capital). The emphasis of my dissertation is the evaluation of a realized projects that relate with precedence 1: Interacive management of the employment OP RLZ in Kladno region. An attention paid to: Efectivity of interactive management of the employment and its realization. Summary of advantage and disadvantage of realized projects. In terms of obtained informations are defined the recomendationes which should contribute to increasing done activities and its efectivity.

Aggregation processes in amphiphil-polymer system
Šejnohová, Michaela ; Márová, Ivana (referee) ; Pekař, Miloslav (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the exploration of polyelectrolyte-surfactant system by fluorescence spectroscopy with pyrene as fluorescent probe. Cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) was used as a surfactant. Native hyaluronan was used as polyelectrolyte. Hyaluronan was used in one constant molecular weight and one constant concentration. The whole system was prepared in an aqueous environment. Interactions were studied in area between critical aggregation concentration (CAC) and critical micelle concentration (CMC). The influences of the concentration of pyrene and the effect of the way of the samples preparation on aggregation behavior were also studied. It was found that above the critical aggregation concentration exists an area where stable properties of aggregates can be found. The concentration of pyrene has a major effect on the fluorescence properties of the system. Preparation of samples affects the aggregation of the system. At higher surfactant concentrations, above the stable area, was observed phase separation and gel formation.

Statistical analysis of the gamma-ray bursts satellite data
Bystřický, Pavel ; Mészáros, Attila (advisor) ; Brož, Miroslav (referee)
In this thesis the Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) are studied, the brightest explosions in the universe. GRBs have been observed since year 1967, but there are several unsolved problems. In the first chapter there is an introduction to the issue of GRBs, and the history of observations are briefly described. The Fermi satellite, the latest satellite devoted to gamma-ray burst observations is described in chapter two. Characteristics of the Fermi instruments are also described. The observed data of GRBs are characterized in the third chapter. The distribution of GRB durations, distances, and spectral hardnesses are described. The characteristics of long and short GRBs (distance, isotropy of distribution, metalicity dependence, isotropic energy) are described. A chance of the appearance of a GRB in the Milky Way is discussed. New Fermi observations are described too. Fourth chapter is about models of GRBs. The fireball and canonball models are described. Fifth chapter is focused on the exposure function of CGRO-BATSE, Fermi-GBM, Swift. I have created the exposure function for GBM on Fermi satellite. It is quite difficult, and I have assumed some simplified hypotheses. Information of the satellite's position, position of detectors on the Fermi satellite, have been found on the Fermi web pages and in the article...

Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy in the diagnosis of Ischemic Heart Disease
VŠOLKOVÁ, Marta
Abstract Radionuclide examination of coronary arteries - myocardial perfusion scintigraphy using a method of a single-photon emission computed tomography ( SPECT ) - provides by a non-invasive way functional information which is complementary to morphologic information gained by an invasive selective coronary angiography. However, the examination of cardiac arteries in the diagnostics of ischemic heart disease (IHD) is carried out by means of other examination procedures which are together in a mutual interaction. Therefore, apart from the basic anatomy and physiology of the coronary arteries and pathophysiology of IHD, the section of the theoretical part of the work also provides an overview of examination methods which are in relation to the radiology assistant´s work. The methods used to diagnose IHD are divided into non-invasive stress tests and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Among the non-invasive stress tests are: ergometer stress test, ECG Holter monitoring, echocardiography examination, stress cardiac mag-netic resonance imaging, myocardial perfusion scintigraphy, 18F-FDG PET, CT angi-ography, CT determination of calcium score, and optical coherence tomography. The category of invasive diagnostic and therapeutic method includes: selective coronary angi-ography, PTCA, and CABG. Detailed description of SPECT myocardial perfusion scin-tigraphy is described in a separate chapter. Objective of the practical part of the work was to compare the conclusions of SPECT myocardial perfusion scintigraphy results with the conclusions of coronary angiography results. I looked for answers to the two following research issues: 1.Would the conclusions of myocardial perfusion scintigraphy examination medical report differ from the conclusions of coronary angiography medical report maximally by 10%? 2. Would be the non-corresponding results different in men and women? Methodology: In the medical files of patients who were recommended for coronary an-giography after myocardial scintigraphy I looked up the final medical reports on their coronary angiography findings. The patients with negative scintigraphy findings who underwent shortly after myocardial scinfigraphy selective coronary angiography with positive results were also included into the group. Group of patients: From January 2013 to September 2013 a group of patients underwent stress myocardial scintigraphy examination at the CNM in Prague. In total there were 619 patients - 344 men and 275 women. 187 patients underwent an additional rest myocardial perfusion scintigraphy. There were positive findings in 86 of these patients with referral for coronary angiography. Backward search proved impossible to find coronary angi-ography results in 19 patients. Nevertheless, 3 patients with false-negative scintigraphy findings were included into the group. The resulting group thus consists of 70 patients 23 women and 47 men. Results: The results of SPECT myocardial perfusion scintigraphy and coronary angi-ography differ in 13% which slightly exceeds the limit of 10% set in the research issue. Two thirds of non-corresponding scintigraphy results were false-positive, one third false-negative. With regards to the second research issue I came to the conclusion that in the detection of IHD the number of non-corresponding result of SPECT myocardial scintigraphy and cor-onary angiography is identical in both genders. There was 13 % of non-corresponding findings in women and 12.7 % of non-corresponding findings in men.

Comprehensive system of rehabilitation in younger individuals after stroke
BEČVÁŘOVÁ, Lucie
Title of the bachelor thesis is Comprehensive rehabilitation in younger individuals after stroke. The aim of this thesis was to determine the subjective perception of individuals´ needs after stroke. The theoretic part is divided into two main chapters. The first one contains brief information about the disease, its types, anatomy and physiology background and symptoms. The second chapter deals with the issue of comprehensive rehabilitation and its parts. Particular approaches are defined and described in detail, health professionals working in this area are also mentioned here. The research part was processed by a method of qualitative research strategy. Semi-structured interview technique and observation were used. The research set included 5 respondents - four men and one woman. Past history of stroke and age of individuals between 45 and 55 years were the inclusion criteria for this research. Interview was held according to scenario questions, where I focused on two areas. First section included information about the respondent, his disease and treatment in the way of comprehensive rehabilitation. In the second part, respondents were asked how their life had changed after the experience of stroke. The interview was audio-recorded and then verbatim transcribed. One of the respondents did not wish to be audio-recorded, thus written notes were taken during the interview. Interviewing results are presented in a narrative format. By conducting this research I tried to answer the following question: What are the needs of individuals at various stages of stroke recovery? Need of self-sufficiency was mentioned by all respondents. In early stage, it was mainly coping with basic activities such as food intake, control of excretion, verbal expression and movement. In the later phase of treatment, there are increasing demands on self-care, understanding ability, memory and social interaction. Individuals often went through an intensive therapy. After returning back to their home environment, the need of self-realization, activation and meaningful ways to spend a free time are the most significant issues. This work should provide more information on the given topic.

Motivation and individual use of social networks, namely Facebook and Nyx and the identity of thein users: Qualitative comparative study
Šimáková, Lenka ; Švelch, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vochocová, Lenka (referee)
Lenka Šimáková Způsoby a motivace užívání sociálních sítí Facebook a Nyx a identita jejich uživatelů: Kvalitativní komparativní studie Mediální studia, IKSŽ, FSV UK, 2012 Abstract The key goal of this thesis is to find correlations between motivation and usage of social network(ing) sites and how they influence self-presentation of the users as a process of defining their own identity. A qualitative method of semi-structured interviews with five active users of both researched sites was used to describe the impact of the social and technological environment on the way they present themselves towards others. I therefore focus mainly on the social identity of the users: why and how they interact, how they perceive the sites and their role within their groups and how it influences their administration of their personal profiles. I also focus on other relevant subjects of within-line social communication: I describe various aspects of computer mediated communication, user perception of public and private sphere on-line and other issues such as group dynamics or users' approach to the social network(ing) sites as tools for managing their social capital. The resulting set of hypothesis is based on my analysis of the conducted interviews. This thesis brings an insight into user reflection of researched platforms,...

Effect of pH on quantitative determination of additives in nanofibers
Grufíková, Jana ; Marek, Pokorný (referee) ; Knotková,, Kateřina (advisor)
The object of my thesis was to prepare a nanofiber layer with dye additives and to quantify the additive content in dependence on pH. The nanofiber layers with additives were prepared by means of electrospinning. The analysis of the additive content in samples was performed by UV-VIS spectrophotometry. Concretely Erythrosine, Eriochrome Black, Riboflavin and Brilliant Blue were analysed. Each of this colors has different chemical structure and charge. The pH was defined by use of buffers, namely acetate buffer (pH 5), phosphate buffer (pH 7,4) and carbonate buffer (pH 10). For Erythrosine and Eriochrome Black the research was extended to study the effect of ionic strength on the quantitative determination of these dyes. It was found that the quantity of the determined additive depends on the pH and also on the ionic strength. However, this dependency is different for each additive. This confirms the assumption of influenced chemical structure and charge by interaction with polymers and buffers used in this experiment. The accuracy of evaluation is influenced by the way of data processing.

Archaeological parks and archaeological open-air museum in the Czech republic
Bražina, Jan ; Novák, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Tyslová, Irena (referee)
The way of presenting of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage has undergone a dramatic change during the last century. It has shifted from the simple displaying of inanimated artefacts towards an interactive link between the artefact and the visitor. Moreover, cultural heritage exhibitions are no more a matter exclusive for traditional museums. Archaeological open-air museums as well as archeological parks became a very suitable platform for presenting cultural heritage as they combine several approaches: experimental archaelogy, reconstruction and living history. Besides this effective didactics are these institutions significant in supporting the tourist industry as well. The aim of this work is to analyze both the educational and economic potencial of these institutions situated in the Czech republic. Some of the possible management risks are briefly mentioned in the end.
