the impact of the global economic crisis on international trade of the Czech republic

This thesis addresses the effects of the global economic crisis on the situation in the international trade of the Czech Republic. I focused on exploring the causes of the crisis and its impact on international trade. The chosen problem I solved by using index methods, deduction, induction, and abstraction. Carried out by the research I've found specific effects on the territorial and commodity structure of Czech trade. The main findings are the impact of the crisis on the volume and structure of trade of the Czech Republic from the territorial point of view and according to the classification of SITC.

The work is focused on the evaluation of the development of Czech foreign trade with Ireland, focusing on specific Czech company seeking to acquire a significant market share on the Irish market. Within the literary research is generally characterized by foreign trade and relations between the Czech Republic and Ireland in connection with foreign trade. Attention is also focused on strategic analysis, necessary to obtain a competitive advantage and long-term market success. Own part presents the company Fenix Ltd., which operates in the market for a long time. Based on the analysis of external and internal surroundings through SWOT analysis summaries are designed corporate strategy that will result from the strategic analysis .

Trend assessment of foreign trade with selected commodities after Czech Republic entry to EU

This thesis deals with the evaluation and development trend of the foreign trade of timber before and after the Czech Republic joined the European Union, merging the theoretical foundations to ensure understanding of the problems and analyzing data for exports and imports of raw wood for fifteen years. Using annual reports from the Ministry of Agriculture, accurate analysis has been achieved in foreign trade and evaluation of the causes of growth and decline caused by external or internal action. In the end a statistical prediction of the future trend of foreign trade was established.

Czech Republic's Foreign Trade

This bachelor thesis analyses the development of territorial and commodity structure values of the Czech foreign trade. The most significant changes in the Czech foreign trade, which occurred during the last 20 years, are identified. Finally competitiveness of individual aggregations representing the Czech foreign trade is identified in two dimensions - in relation to the competitiveness of the EU countries and further competitiveness in relation to the rest of the world.

Significant factors of international trade of the Czech Republic with the selected agricultural commodities

The thesis deals with identifying and quantifying the factors affecting the export of agricultural commodities to the neighboring states of the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2013. The theoretical part is described in detail international trade theory and econometric analysis. In the practical part they are declared elected variables and with the help of the econometric analysis using software Gretl are assessed different models for neighboring States, the Czech Republic and subsequently economic, statistical and econometric verified. Subsequently, these models are evaluated in terms of usability and the individual variables is described by their strength influence on exports of agricultural commodities to neighboring countries.

Statistical analysis of the Czech Republic foreign trade development since the accession to the European Union

Foreign trade plays an important role for national economy of the Czech Republic and represents one of crucial ways for keeping of internal economic balance. The submitted bachelor thesis deals with analysis of various economic indicators of the Czech Republic s foreign trade since joining the European Union (in the period of 2004-2015) including turn-over, import, export and their changes in the reported period. There have been changes occurring the territorial structure in the relation to the European Union and changes in the commodity structure. Time sequence of turn-over development of foreign trade has been analysed using statistical methods leading to the prediction of turn-over development for the next two years. Furthermore, there have been suggested recommendations for future development of the Czech Republic s foreign trade e.g. focus more on foreign trade with the third countries.

Statistical analysis of foreign trade results in the Czech Republic

The thesis is focused on the development of the export and import of foreign trade of the Czech Republic in the years 2000 - 2014. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part of the analysis. The practical part examines the total foreign trade through the statistical analysis. The development of the foreign trade is positively influenced by the accession to the European Union and negatively influenced by the global crisis, which contributed to the decline of our economy. The changes of the timeline are compared through basic and chain indexes. The work is focused on the territorial structure in terms of continents and grouping of countries, which is defined by the Czech Statistical Office. Then the commodity structure includes the most important items, which are traded by our country. The work deals also with the foreign-trade relations with the most important partners of Czech Republic, which are the European Union, Germany, Slovakia, Poland and nowadays even China. By these partners it examines mainly their participation in the total trade of the Czech Republic, changes of individual years and commodity structure. Consequently to calculate the right trend function, and then the forecasts of imports and exports for the next two years. However, the foreign trade of the Czech Republic is influenced by many factors, especially the exchange rate, oil prices and others commodities, as well as the development of the European Union. So at the conclusion of the work are given perspectives and recommendations for future positive development of foreign trade together with an overall assessment of the work.

Issue of the International Trade with Corn in Terms of Import to the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with issue of the international trade with corn in terms of import to the Czech Republic. The target is to predict trends in trade with corn on the czech agricultural market in the world and according to selected criterions. Individual predictions are made using Gretl in future periods in the time from 2016 to 2020, where their essence is to evaluate theoretical and real dates in the development of maize in different years and indicators. The methodology is based on a coherent and deductive procedure. The main methodological framework of the work is structured analysis, which consists of several individual problem-solving stages. They are applied to the case method commodity studies, comparison, description of technical texts, reasoning and logical prediction. Processing the theoretical part of the study follows from legal standards, professional literature, articles and sources of printed and electronic character. In conclusion, it was found that the years 2017 and 2018 will develop in the individual indicators diversely, unstable. However, future prospects expect stabilization of business development with corn on the czech agricultural market until 2019. Year 2020 will bring negative development in trade with corn because of high prices. The productive year in the world was predicted in 2016 due to rising consumption and also production.

Export strategy and support for exports

This thesis deals with the analysis team Chmelařství Žatec, hence its subsidiary of Bohemia Hop, as The theoretical part includes information on foreign trade, exports and aid institutions that deal with this issue. The thesis is further described the common agricultural policy and the Association of Private Farming in the Czech Republic and the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts of the Czech Republic. The practical part contains an analysis of the sector to which the exportation of hops from the Czech Republic and analysis Chmelařství Žatec team and its subsidiaries. In the following chapters the practical part are formed subgroup analysis (STEP, portfolio analysis, Porter 5-forces analysis of economic indicators, Ansoff matrix strategy, SWOT analysis). The work was also carried out a questionnaire survey and structured interviews. At the end of the thesis is the recommendation for Chmelařství team Žatec.
