Master´s thesis describestheproblemsoflow-noiseroadsurfaces. Thetheoretical part describestrafficnoise, sourcesofnoise, thelow-noiseroadsurfaces and thepractical part - describestwoproposalsoflow-noise stone masticasphalt SMA 8 LA and Düsseldorflow-noise stone asphalt LOA 5.
Low - noise pavements
Mojžíš, Martin ; Zdřálek, Petr (referee) ; Hýzl, Petr (advisor)
Master´s thesis is interested in the problems of low-noise road surfaces. The theoretical part describes noise, sources of noise, the low-noise road surfaces and the practical part describes two proposals of low-noise stone mastic asphalt SMA 8 LA.
REDUCING THE VALUE OF CONSTRUCTION NOISE BY MODELING THE PRODUCTION AREA OF CONSTRUCTION SITE AND BY ADJUSTING THE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCEDURES DURING CONSTRUCTION
Kantová, Radka ; Makýš,, Peter (referee) ; Mohelníková, Jitka (referee) ; Henková, Svatava (advisor)
This doctoral thesis focuses on noise generated during construction. It defines the legislative and physical aspects of this topic. It determines heavy machinery as noise source and categorizes them by their usage in construction technologies. It collects source data of the machinery noises which can be further used in prognostic models. It analyses the level of construction noise which can impact the nearby residential areas and offers methodology for modelling and designing the possible arrangements for the noise reduction. It defines partial effects of the construction site which are significant for the noise spreading. It establishes their role in the value of acoustic pressure level of the noise affecting the façade of the considered building. With the data collection and with case study verification it offers a prepared work tool which can be easily used to predict noise levels on construction sites and can be applied in the early constructions preparations. The structure of this thesis is planned for possible usage as university textbook or study support.
Legislative Regulations for Vehicle Exterior Noise
Koštuřík, Vojtěch ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with an overview of legislative regulations for vehicle exterior noise. Introduction is dedicated to acoustics and basic acoustic variables. Next, there are mentioned sources of external noise of vehicles and distribution vehicles by category. The following provides an overview of standards and legislative documents dealing with external noise of motor vehicles. These standards and documents also establish a methodology for measuring external noise, referred to in the following chapter. In the end, there is an assessment of development of legislation in the field of external noise.
Noise in rail transport
Maňák, František ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about the noise of the rail transport, this thesis is focused on the noise, that is generated by trains on the track. This thesis includes analysis of dominant noise sources from rail transport, factors affecting noise and noise measures, which minimize noise from the rail transport as effectively as possible. These measures can be divided into active and passive, each measure has its own advantages and disadvantages. The conclusion describes an evaluation of current trends and considers the future possible development of noise measures.
Noise sources of single phase induction motor
Knap, Zdeněk ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed to find sources of acoustic noise on a single-phase induction motors. Main focus is noise of electromagnetic origin and its actual connection to motor parameters. Noise frequencies are the key subjects of this work. Based on this literature research, it includes analysis of real single-phase induction motor in mathematical software MATLAB. In the end, there is a summary of rules for reduction of the noise caused by electromagnetic fields and list of dangerous frequencies for analyzed motor.

Hlukové emise v chovu skotu
BLAŽEK, Petr
In my bachelor´s work I deal with the sources of noise in cattle breeding, noise emissions, welfare of animals and noise measurement. The first, the theoretical part focuses on the sound, noise and its sources, then on the cattle housing and its welfare. The second part, the practical one I focuse on the noise measuring of two choosen objects of cattle breeding, particularly dairy farming and processing of measurement results and comparison of the measured objects.
