Concept of parenthood by university students

The bachelor thesis tries to map opinions, attitudes and values of current University students. The main purpose of this work is to find out how University students understand the topic of parenthood. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with research and knowledge about current family and it's transformations after the year 1989. Also covers how far is family accepted and supported by contemporary society; also examine how is family affected by economic changes, how the interpersonal relations changed and what value has the child for today's family. The next section of the theoretical part deals with the topic parenthood. Parenthood is debated from the point of view of the parents as well from point of view of the child. Parenthood is also viewed in a historical context, whereby change must always be taken into consideration. There is mentioned arrival of contraception and thanks to it also the arrival of possibility to separate sexual and reproductive life which have changed the relationship to parenthood significantly. Finally the last chapter focuses on the University students. What are they studying and the duration. What are the aims of their lives and which roles should the parenthood become for them among other of life's aspirations. The practical part tries to discover what attitudes...
Collage students expectation on marriage from male / female role point of view

This bachelor thesis is summing up general attitude toward partnership behavior and gender distribution of roles in a family. First part is dealing with current types of partnership cohabitation and its evolution. Objective of this work was to compare students of Charles University in Prague Faculty of Education with other similar research in this field. Results were obtained by on-line questionnaire method. The comparison of obtained data confirmed that these students aren't different from others.
Free time at university halls of residence as an example of the institutionalisation of leisure

The Bachelor thesis is an inquiry into the phenomenon of institutionalization by means of interviews with university students focusing on answering the question whether institutionalization is somewhat connected and/or influences their leisure. The theoretical section of the thesis characterizes the term institutionalization based on the work of Berger and Luckmann, institutionalization of leisure and there are also some results of previous research into university students' leisure presented. The research section of the thesis consists of own research, for which the quantitative research method in the form of interviews was used (seven respondents).
"Pub behavior" of college students: specific rituals of visits and selection

Topic of the bachelor's thesis is meaning of pubs as a ritual activity for crating social identity of small groups of college students visiting the pub regularly. Thesis is trying to find out rules of creating integrity of groups in pub environment as traditional social institution. Work is based on social identification theory. General inductive approach was used for analysis on data gathered by half-structured interviews with young people, largely college students, who belongs to stable groups visiting a pub. The result was the pub seen as a place universally capable of group integration. Its meaning is distinguished for two types of groups. Differences are made by different ways of creating groups and their common characteristics. Two types are distinguished based on their voluntary and unvoluntary common group characteristics. Differences of groups are also in openness, conflict vulnerability and the way of keeping group cohesion. Pub institution is described in ways important for groups, importance of social identity and how it can be seen in groups as mutual relationship of identity blending, creating their own relations with common activities, which are ritualized same as the visit of a pub.

Pub institution is described in ways important for groups, importance of social identity and how it can be seen in groups as mutual relationship of identity blending, creating their own relations with common activities, which are developed as cohesion improving tools.
