Simulation of Sound Field of Multiple Sound Sources
Kohoutek, Jan ; Kurc, David (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The main task of this bachelor thesis is description of interaction of sound waves in field. To understand the whole topic important physical laws related to sound waves propagation are defined. It also deals with frequency and directional response of ideal point source which compares with real measured responses of direct-radiating electrodynamic loudpeaker. Thesis are shown some examples of sound fields on which are specified their behavior. It also desribe main properties for right functionality of line-array source. In practical part are measured acoustic pressure values which lead to creating a interpolation map of sound pressure level. This obtained map was compared with theoretical acoustic field. Part of this bachelor thesis is program which enable to simulate acoustic field created under variable sound and environment properties.
Sound emission directivity model
Zdvyhal, Marian ; Hájek, Roman (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves creation of a computing model of sound propagation for determination of acoustic pressure level around multiple point sound source with consideration of sound directivity of each source (compresor and fan). Thesis contains neccesary theoretical knowledge for creation of computing model and basics of sound measuring, theoretical computing model, measurement data of real unit and model configuration for real measured values. Computing code of the model in Visual Basic for MS Excel is a part of the thesis.
Optimalization of Induction Furnace Operation in foundry Vsetín
Trachta, Jiří ; Nowak, Stanislav (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
The aim of this work is optimalisation of induction furnace in foundry for company PROMET FOUNDRY a.s. The company has two induction furnances. There are installed as identical construction. They have 2 modes of operation. First mode is founding and second mode is mode, where is temperature in maintain mode. Only one induction furnance can work in the founding mode at a time though. Inducion furnances are in the single-phase connection and they cause unbalance in the distribution network. Near the foundry there is a small network area whitch it is operated by company Zásobování teplem Vsetín a.s. The consumption of electrical energy in foundry so big, that in the year 2009 was made elaborate for Zásobování teplem Vsetín a.s. It was write at Laboratoře diagnostiky výkonů (Laboratory of performance diagnostics), which is a part of Electrotechnic Department at Technical Univarsity of Ostrava. The ordered study was named “Verification of causes of increased reactive energy consumption during transition from electricity delivery to electricity consumption”. The conclusion of this assignment confirms that in distribution network in the Jiráskova area in Vsetín there is unbalance of electrical energy and there is high part of reactive power. The next conclusion is crucial to find the customer who made the unbalance and to set relevant remedy. The last step will be the identification whether such device can actually be effectively balanced. It was subsequently proved that the Promet Foundry was causing the unbalance and that balanced consumption would be reasonable. Promet Foundry thus addressed Autel a.s. company with an inquiry to make a study of removing the causes of the unbalance which is caused by current induction furnaces operation at a minimum possible cost, least possible influence on the performance and minimum construction changes concerning the building. In this thesis there will be some topics. The result of which will be introducing of used heating technology, introducing of company and of effective plant performance and subsequent suggestions of possible unbalance removal or reactive power decrease. Several ways which are being implemented in the industry in order to balance consumption will be described. A suitable balancing plant will be subsequently chosen and its parameters will be calculated.
Acoustic Holography
Vacula, Jan ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on description and process during contactless identification of sound source for near and far field. Principles of individual methods of acoustic holography are relatively shortly described and for details of this problem (on the level of algorithm of software equipment) you can see the references below thesis, which were the basic theory of my study. The introduction was conceived like description of “acoustics world”. You can find the basic information and principles about sound propagation in space and their mathematical contain at time. For this it was essential to define quantity and their units. Subsequently there is inventory of used sensors and their own construction for this measurement. Next chapter point to some techniques of acoustic holography used in practice. It includes mainly a method NAH (Nearfield Acoustical Holography) and SONAH (Statistically Optimised Nearfield Acoustical Holography) used for near-field. For reconstruction of far-field is shown principle of a method of Beamforming and manual measurement by intensity probe. The ending is focused on a concrete application these methods on combustion engines of cars.
Possibilities of using GPR in diagnostics of bridges
Moravská, Veronika ; Vítek, Lubomír (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the diagnostic survey of reinforced concrete bridges using GPR. In the first part of the GPR specified nomenclature, physical concepts. The next chapter deals with methods of diagnosis, which are used to locate reinforcement. The next section describes the basic types of bridges, bridge terminology and reinforcement of the main body. The practical part describes the diagnostic surveys of existing bridges.
Possibilities of Application of the Ground Penetrating Radar in Diagnostics of Constructions
Pőssl, Petr ; Heřmánková,, Věra (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis describes basic theoretical knowledge about history, principle, structure and various options how ground penetrating radar (GPR) can be used. Closely it’s oriented to building testing, applications of GPR to finding out reinforcement, differences at concrete structures and comparison with other conventional methods of building testing.
The Elliott wave principle and its significance in technical analysis
Gorol, Tomáš ; Blaheta, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the Elliott wave principle as a part of technical analysis, its fundamentals and exploitation in contemporary markets. At the beginning of the thesis basic tenets of technical analysis and the characteristics of common trading tools are described. The next chapter determines the fundamentals of the Elliott wave principle, its rules for trading, possible risks and disadvantages. The reader is also introduced to the mathematical background, exploitation in trading and other factors which influence the Elliott waves. The conclusion of the thesis is directed to application of the Elliott waves on real markets in combination with other tools of technical analysis and its evaluation.
Physical practicum - electronic support of education
GRILL, František
This thesis is concerned with promoting physical education practicum course. The first section describes the basic knowledge, skills and detailed instructions for creating and processing of measurement reports. The second part is divided into the different roles of physics - Mechanics and thermodynamics, Electricity and magnetism, Oscillations, waves and optics, Electronics, Atomic physics and Special measurements. The third section provides a brief description of the created web sites, their organization and content.
Conception of a tool-kit for teaching of oscillations, wave and acoustic
VESELÝ, František
Basic notions in the field of vibrations, waves, and acoustical physics are explained in the Bachelor thesis. Four designed and made audio-visual aids, and instructions for their use are a part of the work. The experimental devices are the following: Kundt{\crq}s tube for measurement of sound velocity, U - trajectory for observation and measurement of oscillatory motion, an oscillating rod for observation and measurement of oscillatory motion, and a record of periodic movement in time domain for measurement of its parameters.
