Separation of dynamic and static structures in a videosequence
Serediuk, Vadym ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the description and implementation of methods for the separation of low-rank and sparse structures in image sequence, mainly focusing on methods based on convex optimization. The beginning of the work is devoted to the description of basic mathematical concepts and definitions used in the work. The next comes the description of general case of background-foreground separation in video, followed by a brief overview of existing approaches based on various mathematical models. Then, methods based on matrix decomposition are described in more detail, a convex minimization task for background separation is defined. This is followed by a practical part, where the used methods are first described and then implemented in MATLAB scripts. At the end, the analysis and comparison of the results (obtained both using own scripts and external library) is performed.
Video Summary
Video Editor
Kopřiva, Vít ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with an implementation of a simple software system for video editing. The practical part of this work examines the essential functions of the software: video sequence import, sequence cutting, filtering, timeline placement and video sequence export. This software is the command line interface application, primarily designed for batch editing of video files into the one single video sequence. Theoretical part of this thesis describes technological development of a video editing as well as the current software means.
Video Editor
Drastil, Petr ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with design and implementation of a simple application for video processing and video editing. Work examines essential functions of program: video sequence import, sequence cutting, timeline placement and video sequence export. This software has graphical user interface which is intended for amateur user. Theoretical part of this thesis describes current software for video editing and tools for creation of graphical user interfaces.
Image and Video Processing on Mobile Phones
Gazdík, Martin ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This paper deals with image and video processing on Symbian OS smartphones. Description of required development tools is given, and pros and cons of existing image processing applications are discussed. Afterwards, a new application, fast image viewer and editor, is designed keeping disadvantages of similar applications in mind. Purpose of this work is to make simple and fast tool for easy manipulation with integrated camera and captured images. Results and future development directions are at the end.
Face parameterization using videosequence
Lieskovský, Pavol ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Rajnoha, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the problem of face parameterization from the video of a speaking person and estimating Parkinson’s disease and the progress of its symptoms based on face parameters. It describes the syntax and function of the program that was created within this work and solves the problem of face parameterization. The program formats the processed data into a time series of parameters in JSON format. From these data, a dataset was created, based on which artificial intelligence models were trained to predict Parkinson’s disease and the progress of its symptoms. The process of model training and their results are documented within this work.
Video Editing Tool
Krivda, Marian ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Sumec, Stanislav (advisor)
This work consist of the design and implementation of the video editing core. It contains three general phases. The first of them is inspection of video editing tools. The video editing core design is second phase. Last phase is implementation.
The API of a Video and Image Datastore
Fröml, Vojtěch ; Volf, Tomáš (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis proposes and implements an extension of the database interface VTApi which is being developed as a part of the MV ČR project "Tools and methods for video and image processing for terrorism prevention" at FIT VUT. This interface provides support for representation, management and indexation of multimedia data and related descriptive metadata used by analytic applications based on computer vision. It currently uses DBMS PostgreSQL as its default datastore. Paper describes basic techniques for processing image and video data, VTApi concept and proposes and implements its modifications for the purpose of supporting multiple types of datastores. As an example of an alternative datastore, support for usage of a SQLite database is integrated into VTApi.
Non-Realistic Rendering
Skalníková, Zuzana ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on describing non-realistic rendering. The thesis describes well-known techniques, which are used to add artistic feel to the display data. One part of the work describes elementary algorithms, which are required for these transformations. Part of the thesis is also implementation of application, which would use some of the described artistic technique.
Video Content Summarization
Jaška, Roman ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The amount surveillance footage recorded each day is too large for human operators to analyze. A video summary system to process and refine this video data would prove beneficial in many instances. This work defines the problem in terms of its inputs, outputs and sub-problems, identifies suitable techniques and existing works as well as describes a design of such system. The system is implemented, and the results are examined.
