Set of JavaApplets Demonstrations for Speech Processing
Kudr, Michal ; Karafiát, Martin (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is being familiar with methods a techniques used in speech processing. Using the obtained knowledge I propose three JavaApplets demonstrating selected methods. In this thesis we can find the theoretical analysis of selected problems.
Object Oriented Geographic Databases
Komloši, Juraj ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This paper demonstrates object oriented geographic databases's applying. It is based on geographic information systems. It describes properties of geographical information systems and their uses in practise. There are also described main properties and methods of object oriented standards in this paper. All of them are used in geographical oriented systems. New ideas are defined, object oriented raster, object oriented vector and some methods defining storing these items in object oriented database. Proposal for a method of storing data in a geographical object-oriented database is supported by case study.
Scene Analysis Based on the 2D Images
Hejtmánek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object surface analysis in a simple scene represented by two-dimensional raster image. It summarizes the most common methods used within this branch of information technology and explains both their advantages and drawbacks. It introduces the design of an surface profile analysis algorithm based on the lighting analysis using knowledge and experiences from previous work. It contains a detailed description of the implemented algorithm and discusses the experimental results. It also brings up options for the possible enhancement of the projected algorithm.
Practical Efficiency of Containers
Halámka, Jan ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Holík, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is about theorethical and practical comparrison of following data containers: vector, deque, list, hash table, avl-tree, rb-tree, splay-tree, sg-tree, treap, B-tree, binomial heap, fibonacci heap, rope and skiplist while implementing sets. Asymptotic, amortized and average-case complexity for each of those structures are noted, as well as details about their implementation and description of how are they stored in computer memory. There was also created a set of tests for comparrison purposes, its results are also part of this paper.
Vector Analysis in GIS Systems
Životský, Tomáš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the geographic information systems   with an emphasis on so - called vector analysis . The aim of the thesis is to create a library that implements the internal representation   of geographic data and performs analytical operation over them .  The thesis describes the logical structure of the application and the hierarchy of abstract classes . In the form of pseudo -code is shown a set of individual computing operations . Work is strongly based on geographic system GRASS. This GIS is connectable through  import and export vector data in shapefile format. Concept of   storing layers is designed for ease of data manipulation and  their portability . The main idea behind the application is to split the library into individual modules . These modules are  independent , but also can benefit from each other's functions . In conclusion are demonstrated implemented vector analysis and  representation of their calculation .
Interactive map resources on the Internet
Špeta, Marek ; Lambertová, Petra (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this thesis gives an overview of available technologies used to work with map resources on the Internet. The thesis also contains overview of different input data formats and procedures for obtaining maps. Practical part is focused on designing and implementing web applications using map resources, puts the emphasis on the modularity and simplicity of data entry and data. The implementation uses the PHP scripting language, MySQL database and the additional functions uses Ajax technology and JavaScript language.
Three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation algorithms
Rudolf, Ladislav ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
The main theme of this bachelors‘s thesis is to introduce readers into the algorithm of generating three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation. Main attention is concentrating to methods of generating Pulse width modulation method such as comparate PWM modulation technique and space modulation of voltage vector SVM. The functional units of algorithms are analysed and described from the basics. In addition, this project describes the basic analog solutions and even the implementation of the PWM modulator into signal processors DSP56F800.
Geographic information systems
Bílek, Ondřej ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Uchytil, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the problematic of geographical information systems, analysis of the commercial as well as freeware software tools for GIS, analysis of vector and raster representation of geographical data and basic methods for data representation in GIS. The another important part of this thesis is the design of web application, that can be used as a tool for visualization of bussiness data from commercial company, in compare with data owned by Czech Statistical Office. This aplication is built on free platform Google Maps API V3.
SVG technology and HTML 5 Canvas object as perspective methods of inserting dynamic graphics into web pages
TRANTÝR, Tomáš
In my thesis, I deal with comparison of SVG technology and HTML5 Canvas object for insertion of dynamic graphics on web pages. Thanks to continuous development of web browsers and especially thanks to the usability of dynamic elements, those techniques are being supported and used increasingly among the Internet. My work describes principles of creation of dynamic graphic elements with use of both methods mentioned earlier, clearly analyse their advantages and disadvantages as well as the suitability of utilization in real situations. Also a set of original examples demonstrating the use of SVG and Canvas in practice is a part of my work, which should bring the audience even closer to those environments and their functionality. The functionality of both technologies in current versions of wide spread web browsers was tested as well.
SVG technology as present standard of web vector graphics
SKLENIČKOVÁ, Tereza
Purpose of this paper is to describe SVG technology and demonstrate its practical using by particular examples. Document will contain informations about problems with displaying in browsers and offers survey of available editors, which we can use for work with web vector graphics. For practical use of this technology is important to know a set of easy techniques, instructions for creation of curves and knowledge of properities of basic geometrical shapes and various effects.
