Fialová, Petra ; Velehradská, Dagmar (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
The topic of this project is the new design concept for Centre for Viticulture and Wine Tourism in the region of the town Němčičky. It is a dominant building in open landscape. The main purpose of the centre is popularization of the local wineries under the trademark VOC Modré Hory. There is a viewpoint in the building as well, allowing the visitors to appreciate the stunning panorama of the wine region. Gentle curves of the surrounding landscape and refined regularity of the rows of grape vines were the inspiration for the layout of the building, as well as for the gradation of the façade. The façade itself is the defining feature of the building with its glued laminated timber columns. The columns form two rows, creating a shape of two ellipses and they are gradually rising to the top where the viewpoint can be found. In the core of the building is the tasting room which is spacious and airy. Also, there is wine archive and the facilities of the building. With pleasant weather outside, and there is no shortage of that in South Moravia, visitors can also enjoy the outer terrace. A stairway, which is copying the curve of the peripheral columns, leads from the terrace and by climbing the stairs visitors can reach the viewpoint.

Nohejl, Jakub ; Müller, Rudolf (referee) ; Kaftan, Martin (advisor)
Inhospitable environment of mountain ridges was considered uninhabitable for a long time of human civilization. Adverse weather with extreme fluctuations and difficult accessibility discouraged many people interested in development of this location. However, there still were objects that tried to withstand the weather. One of the examples is the exposed chalet Chata na Rozcestí located on the ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains at an altitude of 1,349 m above sea level. The chalet has been constantly struggling with the inhospitable environment of almost 90 years. Its aim is to provide shelter and refreshments for tourists passing by. Over time, all existing buildings in this location suffered from the bad weather. Due to the high operation demands of the current building, the owner is very interested in rebuilding the chalet. The design of chalet Chata na Rozcestí brings a new perspective on the problematics of this locality. In response to the surrounding landscape of the Krkonoše National Park, the design works not only with weather conditions, but also in terms of sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Area is located in Repechy village, which is part of Village Bousínov in Olomouc region, Prostějov district. Current building was built in several stages. The oldest part of the building is northwest wing, semi cellared, with non-habitable attic. After that cowsheds were built, so the buiding gain character of enclosed building. As final modification, the atrium was roofed with metal roof. Whole building was used to breed cattle, which is one of the main reasons, why is the building in such a horrid state. Main goal of bachelor thesis was to rebuild this building into pension with wide freetime activities such as hiking, cycling, horse riding, hyppotherapy, fishing and even ice-skating in winter. Due to the emergency state of the object the reconstruction is more or less forced. Only three bearing walls from the oldest part of the building and one facade were preserved. Whole architectional solution is trying to put old and new into contrast. It is most visible in west corner, where historical facade switch to the glass facade and on the roof, which is placed on classical wooden roof frame, but is shielded with glass plates in alluminium frames. The main entrance is situated in preserved facade. In the ground level, there is reception, restaurant, technical facilities and six rooms for guests. Second floor is fully reserved for accomodating guests. East wing has one floor and the flat of owner is situated in here.
ResPublica/Civitas Socialis - Strachotín
Sysel, Tomáš ; Magnusek, Pavel (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The theme of the development of the existing sports grounds was dealt with Based on a number of analyzes, visits to the site and communication with the community management, the theme of the development of the existing sports grounds was dealt with. The whole territory is up to a football field in a very maintained conditions. There are two smaller accommodation facilities, which are seasonally used mainly by schools in nature and other students, but their condition is quite unsatisfactory. The soccer field, which is the only one maintained, belongs to the existing base of soccer players - the dressing room with the clubhouse. Their condition is also somewhat aggravated. In the current spatial plan, the whole proposed area is at the interface of two areas, the first is the area of sport and individual recreation and the second is the area to be examined. Urban design is based on the location of the existing soccer field and the preservation or improvement of existing links to the surrounding area. Most of the paved areas will be overtaken. Part of the design of the development of sports activities in the village was also to find a possible solution for parking for tourists, for which there is no free space in the village. The chosen location is advantageous in that, when a parking lot will be created, it will be created near the main entrance to the village on road II. Cl. No. 420 from Hustopeče through the village. Architectonically, but also conceptually, the construction is based on the economic possibilities of the municipality, the possibilities of variability of the solution and especially of the possibilities of staging construction. The result are two buildings. One main, replacing the background of spccer players, creates the conditions for year-round training in the new gym, for going to fitness, while part of the building is a platform for the soccer field. The second building is an accommodation that replaces the existing unsatisfactory buildings. Architecturally, they are masses that are greatly affected by the modules. The building structure and the facilities of the sports hall are structurally designed from standardized modular systems, steel containers that are interconnected to create an unusual spectacle. The area of the gym is defined by a reinforced concrete skeleton. Both buildings are covered with gold anodized sheet metal, which is profiled similarly to the peripheral walls of the containers. At the same time, the object was to create year-round sports grounds that are accessible to the general public and youth.
