The vision as such emerged on the basis of analyzes already in the last semester, on its basis, we come to the solution of a partial project, which should show the municipality how to go and why. Representatives and residents of Strachotín have for a long time been considering certain steps, construction works of varying extent, which would strengthen the population, their possibilities in using the potential of the place (wine, tourism) and the village returned the lost face. There is only a small distance between the village and the end of the village in the direction of Pálava, but there is an important urban area - the surroundings of the church - which is historically very important and it hides its potential. In my work, I have commissioned him to uncover it and try to inspect what she can offer. Not only for tourists, but also for locals.

How to wank princesses
Schättingerová, Nataly ; Houdek, Vladimír (referee) ; Homola, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis, entitled How to annoy princesses, deals with some aspects of tourism, as it manifests itself in crowded historical monuments. The personal experience of tour guide at Kost Castle offers me a perspective on the issue, with which I emphasize the common interest of the "mouflons" (i.e. castle visitors) for spectacle and sensations (fables, myths, Czech fairy tales, ghosts), which often wins over the interest in history itself. I capture the atmosphere of commercialized monuments in a grotesque way that is close to me. The goal of the work is to set a mirror to the public and ideally to stir up a debate about the decline of visitors' interest in the professional aspects of guiding or the state of the monuments themselves. The series of figurative medium-format oil paintings, supplemented by audio processing untrue facts, untrue stories and myths, indirectly follows on the book The Last Aristocrat written by Evžen Boček , which deals with a similar theme.
Choughs and irises. Anthropology of tourism, space and identity in Morocco
Konopíková, Michaela ; Soukup, Martin (advisor) ; Bláha, Jan Daniel (referee) ; Sokolíčková, Zdenka (referee)
The dissertation project is based on a long-term fieldwork among the Berber community in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains. It looks at the transformation of the local environment since new discursive practices are emerging as a result of an interference of the global economy, environmentalism and developmental policies. Following Appadurai, the thesis raises a question of locality in contemporary world and neighborhoods, which are imagined, produced, and maintained against some sort of ground while the context-generative dimension of neighborhoods provides a theoretical angle on the relationship of global and local realities with the idea of culturally hybridized world. Together with Appadurai, the thesis deals with "what locality might mean in a situation where the nation-state faces particular sorts of transnational destabilization." The thesis has thus two main aims. (1) After describing the structural conditions in which the tourism industry in the mountains operates, (2) it will discuss the limitations of the locals' responses to the global market, or more broadly the impacts of globalization. It is necessary to establish a framework, which would connect the large- scale and small-scale processes and identify the concept of their dialectical relationships. Through such a reading, the thesis...
Dopady pandemie COVIDu-19 na turismus států sdružení ASEAN
Hübschmanová, Lucie
The diploma theses deal with the regional differentiation of ASEAN states in their approach to the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of impacts on the tourism sector during the period 2019-2021. Based on literature, a total of seven impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism are identified and discussed. These selected impacts are further specified and divided into four negative and three positive impacts. Furthermore, the impacts are discussed for individual states based on analyses of quantitative data obtained on selected databases and qualitative data obtained through the recherche of ASEAN states regulations in the context of COVID-19. One of the key prerequisites for determining the regional differentiation of impacts on tourism is chosen the degree of openness/closeness of the state to international tourism, which plays an important role in the region. Based on the chosen methods, it is evaluated that in ASEAN the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism have become more significant, hitting the economic and socio-economic spheres within all states. At the same time, no significant differentiation is discovered within the impact on tourism based on the identified approaches to the solution.

It encompasses prisoners of communist labor camps at the end of the 1940s, the Czechoslovakians transported to gulags in the Soviet Union, the members of the auxiliary technical battalions, or forced labor prisoners in prisons. The thesis aims to understand and explain how the dissonant heritage of unfree labor is taken care of in Czechia, emphasizing its interpretation and management. The first part of the research focuses on identifying specific forms of dissonant heritage, its conservation, a form of interpretation, and the creation of a classification. The second part of the research identifies, using earlier analysis, the actors who manage the dissonant heritage, tangible or otherwise. Investigation of the actor's approach towards the dissonant heritage utilized the qualitative method of guided semi-structured interviews, including 10 respondents total. The last part of the research examines visitors' motivations and attitudes toward the legacy of the dissonant heritage of unfree labor, again using semi-structured interviews, complete with 30 respondents. The whole research's results bring knowledge to a comprehensive approach to the...
