Bridge across Bystrica creek
Nani, Pavel ; Glovina, Filip (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of my diploma thesis is a detailed static calculation of the post-tensioned concrete road bridge across Bystrica creek near Banska Bystrica in Slovakia. The bridge is element of turning ramp a motorway R1. The spatial curvature continuous bridge has 9 fields. It was made a spatial curvature computational model of the bridge for a structural analysis. The model was comparison with a straight computational model of the bridge. It is made comparison effect of the construction bridge in stages on the size of the internal forces too. The load-bearing structure was checked according to CSN EN 1992-1-1, CSN EN 1992-2 and CSN 73 6214.
Design of vehicle suspension stabilizer
Krasula, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on a design of the formula student’s anti-roll bar. The beginning of the thesis is devoted to the introduction of the anti-roll bar function and the explanation of its effect on a vehicle including the analysis of various constructions. Second part deals with the Formula Student competition. There is the analysis of the formula Ford’s anti-roll bar as a starting point for our own design. In the section which deals with the anti-roll bar design several alternatives are designed, the stress analysis of components are made and multi body system models are developed for final solutions. These models serve for further analyses of driving characteristics of the vehicle.
Statical solution of reinforced concrete structure
Velecká, Renata ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with statical solution of structure of the office building. The theme of solution is reinforced concrete monolithic point-supported ceiling slab. It's supoported by columns and whole structure is completed by two reinforcing cores and reinforcing wall. Structure review is done according to the first limit state – carrying capacity.
Collection of solved examples from Elasticity and Strength
ŠIMANOVÁ, Petra
The thesis is designed as a brief teaching text for the course Technical Mechanics II at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The topics included in the thesis are simple tension, simple compression, simple shear, simple bending, simple torsion, buckling. The theory is supplemented by examples with annotated solutions for each type of stress. The thesis also contains several complex problems on dealing with multiple types of stresses on a structure. The work can be used by teachers of the subject in preparation for classes and by students in self-study or in preparation for various examinations or tests.
Overpass bridge across the highway
Černý, Pavel ; Šopík,, Leonard (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is detailed design of the supporting structure of a bridge. Three variants are designed. The structure is designed as a single beam bridge of 6 spans. The calculation of load efects make in software MidasCivil 2019 and Scia Engineer 18.1. The subject of the expertise of the structure is service limit state and ultimate limit state. For evaluation of cross sections is used MS Excel. Both design and relevant drawing documentation of the bridge deck and substructure. The design and assessment are according to the europien standards.
Bridge over the I/44 road
Topinková, Petra ; Pachl, Radek (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
My master's thesis aims to design a bridge construction spanning road III/443 over road I/44. Three versions were created one of which has been developed further. It is a three span bridge with a total spread of 77.5 meters. Proposal and evaluation of bridge construction is done unassisted. Static analysis is done using Scia Engineer program. Construcion evaluation is done by valid EU norms ČSN EN 1992-1-1. Mechanical drawing, building procedure and visualisation is also included.
Analysis of chosen methods for solution of torsion of non-circular bars
Mach, Ondřej ; Rozehnalová, Petra (referee) ; Novák, Kamil (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with analysis of chosen methods for solution of torsion of non-circular bars. The thesis is divided into two sections – theoretical section and research section. There have been introduced all needed terms and formulas used in analysed methods in the first part. In the second part, solutions of analytical methods have been compared with solutions obtained by numerical method FEM (Finite Element Method) modeled in ANSYS software.
Qualitative study of beam finite elements
Martinásková, Magdalena ; Němec,, Ivan (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
The issues were selected that have been expected to induce complications in modelling or calculations. These were solved in commercial softare RFEM, Scia, Axis and ANSYS using the FEM. The problems include geometric nonlinearities or address buckling or torsion. The basic theory and the software solutions are presented. For each task there are stated the parameters of calculation for individual programs, in more complex cases the way of assembling the model and solution steps are also described. The results obtained are compared to theoretical analytically obtained solution.
Evaluation of mechanical characteristics of shape memory alloys under cyclic loading in torsion
German, Roman ; Štěpánek, Roman (referee) ; Horníková, Jana (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to process the results of fatigue tests of wires of a NiTi shape memory alloy subjected to symmetric cyclic torsion. The first part of this work is dedicated to literature research about NiTi alloys, their response to cyclic loading and the specific features of torsion loading. The second part contains a review of the influence of heat treatment and strain amplitude on the ability to dissipate mechanical energy, changes in mechanical properties and fatigue life of the tested material.
