Bridge over the I/44 road

My master's thesis aims to design a bridge construction spanning road III/443 over road I/44. Three versions were created one of which has been developed further. It is a three span bridge with a total spread of 77.5 meters. Proposal and evaluation of bridge construction is done unassisted. Static analysis is done using Scia Engineer program. Construcion evaluation is done by valid EU norms ČSN EN 1992-1-1. Mechanical drawing, building procedure and visualisation is also included.

Prestressed bridge in Budišov nad Budišovkou

This paper proposes main load-bearing structure for simple span concrete bridge across Budišovka river. Length of the construction is 18.8m. Three studies have been proposed and one of those was chosen for further processing. Selected study, prestressed concrete slab, was evaluated for ultimate and serviceability limit state according to recent European standards. Paper also includes visualizations and drawings.

Positives and negatives of members of the multidisciplinary team in mental health centres

This diploma thesis deals with the cooperation of social and health workers within multidisciplinary teams in a relatively new project - Mental Health Centers. This principle of care is new in the Czech Republic and is based on multidisciplinary cooperation. It is now aimed at people with serious mental illness. The team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, general nurses/nurses for psychiatric care and peer consultants. The purpose of this work is to describe what work in such a multidisciplinary team looks like, how respondents perceive it and what positives and negatives they find in this work. The work is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the reader will learn that the Mental Health Centers (MHC) are part of the Reform of Psychiatric Care. The Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) model, which is based on community care, is implemented at the MHCs. The thesis further explains how MHCs work, what services they provide and who they are for. The practical part is based on qualitative research. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with respondents, who consisted of nine employees from one MHC. Their interviews revealed several basic categories that partially answer research questions. The categories that are interrelated are: Peer Consultant, Covid, Risks of a Multidisciplinary Team, Importance of Professions, Main Word in Care, Positives and Negatives of Teamwork, Expectations from Other Professions. The results of this thesis may be used as a basis for further research and provide an interesting insight into how the workers themselves perceive such demanding work.

The Influence of Family and Same Age Children on Socialization of Child in Preschool and Younger School Age

This bachelor thesis deals with socialization of preschool and younger school children with regard to influence of family and children of the same age. The goal of this thesis is to describe how family and kids of the same age influence children's socialization. And if the theorical part fits with socialization of children in today modern families. In theoretical part I describe some important ranges conected with socialization of children, then what is family, types of family and functions of family. In the next part I describe which factors influence preschool and younger school children. In practical part will be verify learned and described theory by questionnaire survey. Maternal child-rearing practises in blended families

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the stepfamilies from the mothers's perspective. The aim of this work is to provide insight on the stepfamilies issue, how a family works, which changes brings the merger of two original families, which maternal child-rearing practises are used and which emotions are mothers feeling. This work includes two parts. Theoretical part deals with topics like a family, a marital break-up and a stepfamily. Practical part incorporates qualitative research which was accomplished by semistructured interviews with five respondents who are part of stepfamilies. With help of this method was turned out how stepfamilies work, which changes happened, how is the raising going on and all this out of the mothers's perspective.
