This diploma thesis deals with the design of the recovery plan for the equipment of the company's server room after disaster. The first chapter describes the basic terms needed to understand the issue of the disaster recovery plan. The second chapter analyzes the object, specifically the server room and its assets. The third chapter, on the other hand, contains the disaster recovery proposal itself, which will be used in the company to manage the continuity of activities.

The laboratory exercise for demonstrating social engineering

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to raise awareness of social engineering practices and its methods for obtaining user data. In the theoretical part, the reader is introduced to current threats, the concept of social engineering itself, its methods and the description of the attack are also defined. These techniques often lead to the spread of malicious software, which is why the work also focuses on its definition and division into individual types. In the practical part, the work focuses on the creation of a scenario for the demonstration of social engineering in the BUTCA environment. The individual subsections describe eight tasks that focus on spoofing, pretexting, identity theft, phishing, fraudulent behavior, and baiting. They contain a description and the process of their creation. An integral part is the overall testing of this laboratory task by primary and secondary school students, therefore the thesis deals with its output at the end.

The theoretical part deals with various types of risks, and explanation of the terms associated with the project. And further deal with analysis of risks and characteristics of the RIPRAN method. The practical part is focused on the risk situations in a particular building company. Subsequently, the building project show the actual procedures and solutions to risk management together with preventive measures.

There are defined restrictive economic conditions of the realization. The second part is the suggestion of a process and options for securing clients’ financial funds. The last part consists of a proposal of the promotion of the project in the context of economic efficiency.

The diploma thesis is focused on a selection of company, which an identification of risks and their causes is elaborated for. The selected company is AB JET spol. s.r.o., where systematic identification of company's risks and their core causes, evaluation of discovered risks' weight and specification of possible negative consequences were performed by using method IPR (Identification of Processes and Risks). Processed results should be used as a template for suggestions of preventive measures.
