Assessment of body composition and physical fitness using the ALPHA test battery
Husovská, Andrea ; Jandová, Soňa (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
The present thesis deals with the influence of body composition on physical fitness. The thesis deals with the issue of increasing prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents. The aim of the thesis is to assess physical fitness in older school-aged children using a validated test battery and to determine the association of physical fitness in these children with their body composition. A total of 52 pupils aged 12-14 years were tested, of whom 34 were girls and 18 were boys. We used a modified Assessing levels of physical activity (ALPHA) test battery to determine the physical fitness of the children and adolescents. We also used a questionnaire survey to determine anthropometric parameters relevant to body composition. For the actual measurement, we used three skinfold measurements, dynamometry, Unifittest (6-60). F-test was used to calculate statistical significance of differences and Cohen's d was calculated to calculate substantive significance. The results showed that girls had higher amount of subcutaneous fat than boys. There was no difference in body weight and body height between girls and boys. Compared to boys, girls had a lower mean time spent in physical activity outside physical education. In conclusion, body composition has a great influence on physical fitness in older...

Comparator of Test Results
Design and implementation of the power and measurement connection of the test workplace for inverters verification
Zvolánek, Daniel ; Dvořáček, Jiří (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and realization of a test station for photovoltaic inverters. The first part discusses the principle of operation of photovoltaic inverters and the verification of their operating parameters. The next part is the analysis of the test station, which discusses the needs of the test station and possible universal solutions. This is followed by the design of the necessary components and cables and the realization of the measurment junction box. In the last chapter, the correct design of the junction box is verified by testing.
Testing of aeration elements
Špunarová, Kateřina ; Úterský, Michal (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
In the bachelor thesis entitled testing of aeration elements, research is carried out on aeration systems and aeration elements used at wastewater treatment plants. The practical part describes the methodology of measurement and evaluation of data from the testing of specific aeration elements. The aim of the work is the comparison of certain parameters such as oxygenation capacity, opening pressures and energy consumption. These parameters can have a significant impact on the efficiency and operating costs of wastewater treatment plants.
A Tool for Generating Test Paths Based on a Given Criterion
Bíl, Jan ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The automatic generation of test inputs according to a specified coverage criterion has the potential to significantly reduce costs in the development of critical applications. This work focuses on designing and implementing a tool that systematically generates paths in the control flow graph generated from function of such application, that meet the specified coverage criterion targets. These paths are then transformed into the corresponding SMT (Satisfiability Modulo Theories) format, and their feasibility is verified using the Z3 SMT solver. For paths that are feasible, a set of input valuations for which the formula holds is simultaneously generated. This collection of valuations formes a set of test inputs that effectively meet the desired coverage criterion. Final test inputs are tested function parameters and state of global parameters.
Denial of Service detection methods
Horský, Milan ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a methodology for detecting and describing the Denial of Service (DoS) condition on a web server. The aim of the thesis is to develop and implement methods that enable effective detection of DoS attacks in an experimental network. The theoretical part focuses on the analysis of different types of DoS attacks, including their detection on the application server and network side, and discusses possible reasons for false positives. In the practical part, software tools for monitoring and analyzing server and network resources were developed and then tested against different types of DoS attacks. As a result of the work, the proposed methodology has been validated and implemented in an experimental network, which provides useful tools for improving the security and stability of web servers.

Modeling and simulation of PLC-BPL communication of smart metering in Network Simulator 3
Baranyk, Matěj ; Rusz, Martin (referee) ; Benešl, Lukáš (advisor)
n recent years BPL technology is becoming more used. Despite the technology not needing any additional cable installation it's important to make sure that using the technology itself makes sense or what the needed requirements will be. Due to this reason we opt to simulate real life scenarios and compare them with outputs from network simulator ns-3. This way we're able to recognize the usefulness of our efforts even before we make any plans to instal anything, which saves time and money. Furthermore we can use the same simulator for diagnostics of already installed BPL routes. Furthermore a laboratory measurement shall be conducted in order to increase dataset sizes and to have more data that can be compared with simulation outputs.
