Design of chopper operational amplifier with input offset reduction in CMOS technology
Gaži, Dominik ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The thesis provides the design of a chopper operational amplifier topology focused on correcting input offset. The thesis contains an overview of inaccuracies which occur in op-amps, as well as methods preventing them. Focus of the practical part is designing an op-amp used for amplification and filtering and switches, which are connected into a final circuit and verifying their functionality in simulation environment Cadence Virtuoso. The design is using CMOS 0.25 m technology.
Analog switch for switched current circuits
Jahn, Michal ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s deals with a design of analog switches using switched current technique and CMOS technology. The design of these switches was implemented and subsequently simulated in the CADENCE environment where the emphasis was on suppression of transient processes. It is a charge injection error and a clock-feedthrough error when charging the capacities of channel during switching on or opening.
Design of rail to rail operational amplifier with AB output stage
Prokš, Jiří ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This work deals with design of rail-to-rail operational amplifier with AB output stage with low disipation and gain compensation of first stage.
Commented translation of a text on science and technology
Smejkal, Libor ; Mihai, Hana (referee) ; Kotásek, Miroslav (advisor)
Cílem této bakalářské práce je překlad technického textu z českého jazyka do anglického a okomentovat aspekty překladu a problémy s tím spojené. Vybraný text jsou elektronická skripta, sdílená na e-learningu a používána Vysokým Učením Technickým v Brně výhradně pro výukové účely v oboru mikroelektrotechnika. Teoretická část uvádí teorii překladu, její procedury, postupy a typy. Také obsahuje popis funkčních stylů, obzvláště stylu odborného. Praktická část je reprezentována překladem prvních dvou kapitol – Úvodem a technologií CMOS. Závěrečná – analytická část obsahuje komentáře různých problémů z odlišných lingvistických hledisek.
Design of precise DA converter for low-voltage applications using CMOS technology
Dušek, Petr ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of an accurate digital to analog converter (DAC). The thesis provides material to understand the principle of conversion of digital signal to analog signal. Some possible structures of DAC are described in this thesis. The selected structure is used for design of the DAC using the CMOS 07 technology. Functionality of the DAC is verified with simulations using the PSPICE simulation program.
Design of an AD converter for sensor applications
Bečková, Zuzana ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
Diplomová práce obsahuje stručný teoretický základ pro designéra/ku A/D převodníku v technologii CMOS a přehled architektur A/D převodníků používaných v automobilovém průmyslu.
Design and development of DA converter in CMOS technology
Komár, Karel ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
The work deals with design of the converter digital to analog on transistor level. Requirements converter a minimum resolution of 10 bits, short conversion time, low power and small chip area. For the realization of the converter is selected technology I3T25
Design of low voltage low power Op-Amp
Kužílek, Jakub ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Khateb, Fabian (advisor)
This work deals with issues of design and optimize of an operational amplifiers using CMOS transistor models. The main focus of work is to propose a circuit suitable for low voltage applications with low power. The proposed circuit consists of sub-circuits, each of which must operate in the desired voltage range. Detailed design of input and output stages will reach range of rail-to-rail type with a minimum quiescent current.
A Novel Structure of Low-Order High Resolution Delta-Sigma Modulator
Kledrowetz, Vilém ; Husák, Miroslav (referee) ; Michaeli, Linus (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The presented dissertation thesis deals with a novel structure of delta-sigma () modulator which compensates influence of higher harmonic distortion and therefore it is possible to achieve high resolution up to 16 bits. This novel proposed structure combines advantages of one bit quantizer modulators with mutli-bit modulators. The novel second order structure is presented, correct function is verified in MATLAB simulation enviroment and requirements for partial block are studied. The second part of the work deals with design of converter with novel structure of modulator using switched capacitor technique utilizing ONSemi I3T25 technology. Advantages and disadvantages of the novel structure are evaluated and novel structure is compared with common structures of modulators.
NEW PRINCIPLES OF GATE CAPACITANCE CHARACTERIZATION FOR SIGMA-DELTA MODULATORS
Sutorý, Tomáš ; Ďuračková, Daniela (referee) ; Husák, Miroslav (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the utilization of new principles of characterization of gate capacitances for sigma-delta modulators. Sigma-delta modulators are the integral part of sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters. The proposed new method is characterized by high resolution and modest requirements for laboratory equipment. It allows characterizing capacitances whose values are within the range which is used in sigma-delta modulators. The thesis contains description of the new method, the analysis of measurement accuracy and experimental results.
