Support for persons with disabilities employment in the context of social work

The diploma thesis on "Support of people with disabilities at work in the context of social work" deals with the social rehabilitation service with the supported employment method and focuses on the target group of people with disabilities. The goal is to find out how useful this service is for its users. The first part of the diploma thesis describes the general issue of people with disabilities, together with the characteristic of the service of supported employment. This part also deals with the historical development of the service, the legislative framework, the methods of working with the users and the role of the social worker in terms of the service of supported employment. Another part of the diploma thesis is focused on the practice in terms of providing this service. There is described the methodological part of the diploma thesis, which is elaborated by qualitative research in the form of structured interviews and is illustrated by case studies. From the point of view of the realization of qualitative research, the assumption of great benefit for persons with disabilities using the services of supported employment was confirmed, which is also indicative of the good quality of this service.

The possibilities of employment for mentally disabled persons

This thesis deals with opportunities of mentally disabled people in society. First of all it is defined the term mental retardation, its degree and causes. The following describes the education and upbringing of mentally handicapped. The thesis also discusses approaches to work with mentally disabled people. Another section deals with supported employment. The aim of this thesis is to determine the possibilities of mentally disabled people in society.

Possibilities of people with disabilities in the labor market

(in English) The work is focused on the possibilities of people with disabilities in the labor market. What kind of services there are, what are the possibilities of finding work both on open labour market and in the sheltered environment. The work also describes what is in the Czech Republic legislation regarding the employment of people with disabilities. The work includes mapping of services, what is offers to to people with disabilities by state employment policy - its pros and cons, accessibility and clarity of the services provided by NGOs, mainly by supported employment as an alternative to the protected labor market. The work also deals with a proposal for the creation and of the workplace, which should be co-financed by the labor office and its active employment policy funds. Workplace should be managed by NGO Rytmus - od klienta k občanovi. The aim is to analyze and capture the particular aspects of the financing and viability of project, which would be within the organization completely new. I tis not an attempt to create a comprehensive business plan, which would mapped all the aspects, but rather to create a material that will be in the organization and serve as guide or inspiration. Psychological and social attributes of supported employment regarding employers and employees of companies where it is provided

Supported Employment is one of the main tools of active labour market policies for the people who are disadvantaged or with disabilities. It aims to aid people are disadvantaged when finding employment themselves, provides assistance when looking for and choosing the right employment and with preparations for its execution, facilitation of the first contact with employer and colleagues, and ongoing support not only to the person with disability, but also to his colleagues and superiors who will be in contact with him. The thesis focuses on the issue of supported employment and its relation to diversity management, which covers the topic of management of employing the minorities and disadvantaged groups. From this perspective the thesis discusses the attitudes and prejudices, that often pose a barier to supported employment and effective interaction of people with disabilities and without. Research aims to explore these attitudes and to explore the support, that employers and employees working in the companies there the supported employment takes place are provided. In my thesis I am going to focus on one of the areas of community care for people with mental illness and thus on the area of employment. The main focus of the thesis is on a description of current situation in the provision of the employment support for people with mental illness. The focus is also on the formulation of the specifics of the Employment Support Program for people with mental illness. Another part of my thesis contains empirical investigations focusing on the sustainability and the perspective of the Employment Support Program for people with mental illness. Employment of people with autism spectrum disorders

The bachelor thesis deals with adult people with Autism Spectrum Disorders, especially Asperger's Syndrome and High Functioning Autism, in connection with their employment in the Czech Republic. The goal of this thesis is to find out the labour opportunities and the support for these people. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a case study. Introductory chapter describes Autism in general and defines all of Autism Spectrum Disorders. The second chapter is already focused on adults and the problems they face and which often set apart the current society. The third section includes the possibilities of employment for people with autism, supported employment services, the legislative framework of people with disabilities and last the benefits which employment of persons with autism provides. Case study in the end of the thesis concerns a man with autism who used supported employment services and found a job that suits him. Abstrakt Despite all the problems in the Ranks of the cultural environment and the composition of the people after the unemployment I was led to believe it is not always the main factor in recruitment. Or maybe education is not the main determinant, though primarily affiliated, but the nature of personality, diligence and hard work are determinants, which are the quintessence of the employer's requirements. Sometimes such values in the family of people with mental disabilities are more problematic to implement, then the values would lead the school. The success of the equipment of the positive values depends on the quality of the school and its leadership. I knew that in Teplice there are that at least two schools are for high quality and fully prepare people with mental disabilities in practical life.
