Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi sekundárního vzdělávání žáků s mentálním postižením a jejich možnostmi uplatnění se na trhu práce. Teoretická část objasňuje základní pojmy, které se týkají problematiky mentální retardace, vzdělávání a zaměstnávání osob s mentálním postižením. Poslední kapitola diplomové práce analyzuje současné možnosti sekundárního vzdělávání žáků s mentálním postižením a jejich uplatnění na trhu práce ve Zlínském kraji. Thesis is focused on possibilities of secondary education of students with mental disabilities and their subsequent employment possibilities in the labor market. The theoretical part of the thesis is discussing basic concepts related to the issue of mental retardation and aspects of education and employment of persons with mental disabilities. The last chapter of the thesis provides an analysis of the current possibilities of secondary education of students with mental disabilities and possibilities of work placement in the Zlín region.
