This bachelor thesis deals with the development of supplementary pension insurance market. Primary goal of the thesis is to offer a complex analysis of the development of supplementary pension insurance between the years 1994 and 2015. Thesis offers a preview and summary of theoretical approaches towards pension security along with a link to progression of those approaches in Czech republic. Supplementary pension insurance is analyzed from a standpoint of conditions of the product, its gradual development, macroeconomic context and general overview of its positives and negatives. Thesis thereafter concentrates on comparative analysis of companies operating on the market, description of current changes and outlines possible future development and possible future challenges for additional pension savings.
The role of supplementary pension insurance in the case of the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis analyzes the development of the pension security system in our region from the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic until the present day. Changes are analyzed in the pension insurance system made by adopting parametric and paradigmatic changes under the terms of the 2011 and 2013 pension reforms. The work also explores the development of the supplementary pension insurance in its original form and also the new version of the product -- supplementary pension savings, including mutual comparison of pension companies providing this product. Other alternative ways to create financial savings for the period of old age are outlined in the thesis as well.

This bachelor thesis deals with the current reform of the pension system in the Czech Republic. The first part briefly discusses the Czech pension system, especially its deficiency and the need for change. Second chapter analyses the pension reform passed in 2011, particularly the reform steps already taken and the expected creation of a new pension system after 2013. Third chapter is devoted to the supplementary pension insurance with state contribution, its present standing and its planned changes. Fourth chapter marginally presents current pension funds in the Czech Republic, considering the significant transformations from January 2013.

The goal of the submitted thesis "Analysis of supplementary pension insurance in Czech Republic in comparison with Slovak Republic" is analyze and compare currently functioning supplementary pension system in our country and Slovak Republic. The whole thesis is focused on third pillar of pension system, namely the supplementary pension insurance. The thesis contains difficulties and issues that the pension system faces. There is also analyzed upcoming pension reform and comparison of actual pension scheme with the future one. Part of this thesis is also analysis of pension funds currently operating in the Czech pension insurance market and selection of optimal pension fund.

The aim of this diploma thesis on the topic "Pension insurance in a context of pension reformo of Czech republic" is to evaluate a present pension system in Czech republic, to judge demographic and fiscal reasons of pension reform necessity. There will be defined positives and negatives of individual changes in existing pillars and described quality of new pension saving pillar. A main focus belongs to supplementary pension insurance and planned transposition into supplementary pension saving.
Options for financial security in one´s old age

This diploma thesis inquires into the system of retirement pensions in Czech Republic which is based on two pillars. The first pillar comprises of mandatory elemental pension insurance which provides for over 94 % of incomes of today's retirees. The second pillar mainly comprises of additional voluntary retirement insurance with benefits and some products of life insurance. Considering actual setting of the pensions system based almost solely on pay as you-go funding (PAYG), though substantially demographically reliant, this situation won't be sustainable in the long term. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to find out approximate retirement pension income for different groups based on different amount of wages and connected drop in income especially considering actual changes which are in effect since October 2011. The crucial part of the thesis is subsequently focused on options for private saving through the third complementary pillar with concentration on development of selected indicators in additional retirement insurance with benefits and calculation of the amount of lifelong pension.

The following section deals with the demographic development and aging process in the Czech Republic. The fifth part includes macroeconomic data and indicators. The last chapter is devoted to the research on pension system.
