Job satifaction of primary school teachers

This bachelor thesis explore the job satisfaction of elemetary schools teachers. The theoretical part is a summary of information about motivation, job satisfaction and the factors that determine these areas. The practical part deals with the satisfaction of teachers in the working environment, working with children and parents, relationships with colleagues and school management, salaries, benefits and overall satisfaction of teachers. Satisfaction of teachers is investigated by questionnaire survey. At the end of this work are presented proposals that could improve problem areas in education.
The influence of stress during transport on agricultural usage of selected species

This thesis deals with influence of stress during transport on selected species of transported animals especially on pigs, cattle and poultry. Each animal deals with stress differently according to its anatomical, physiological and ethological predispositions. Requirements according to these predispositions are described in the theoretical part of thesis. In the end of theoretical part defects of meat which occur as a result of stress are described. In practical part there is a summary of current laws related to transport of living animals, both Czech and European. Current laws are compared with anatomical, physiological and ethological requirements of animals. In the end of thesis the quality of current laws is evaluated and possible future development of transport of living animals is outlined.
Stressogenic Factors in a Health-Care Facility

This thesis deals with work-related stress and stressors of medical staff, doctors and nurses. The aim is to expound this issue and to determine the level of stressors influencing the medical staff in given hospitals. As first in the theoretical section, the characteristics and specifics of medical profession are described, thereafter personality traits supposed for this profession. The second chapter describes stress, which medical staff is burdened with, and concrete typical stressors as well. The third chapter concerns burnout syndrome, which is a possible consequence of long-acting stress. The fourth and last chapter is devoted to the prevention and coping of stress and burnout. The practical section presents the evaluation of the survey concerning effect of stressors on the medical staff of four selected hospitals. According to the ascertained results are outlined measures for improving the situation and preventing acting stressors.
Prevention of burnout at the teachers of economic subjects

The object of bachelor's thesis is handle the issue of burnout of teachers, whose would be able to recognition this negative phenomenon, able to identify the causes and able to defend themselves against this phenomenon. In this thesis I would like to underline that teaching profession is very burdensome and that teacher have to deal with demands from students, parents, management of school, colleagues and general public every day. There was identified the susceptibility to stress surveyed teachers and also their current measure of burnout based on findings about this phenomenon. There were also identified some situations that teachers perceive as the most stressful and options that teachers currently use.
Burnout syndrome among students of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Economics, Prague

The main essence of this Master's thesis is to examine students of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Economics, Prague and then determine whether students are at risk of burnout or already suffering from it. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of the terms - particularly burnout syndrome, its risk factors, symptoms and stages. Then there is the section dedicated to the prevention and treatment of burnout syndrome. Also noteworthy is the comparison of relations between burnout syndrome and stress, depression, and time management. The next chapter is about the characteristics of people who may be at risk of burnout, and a description of professions, which are most affected by burnout. The end of this part is about the University of Economics, Prague, the Faculty of Business Administration and its students. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which is based on questionnaire survey, which shows whether students of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Economics, Prague are at risk of burnout syndrome or already suffering from it. After evaluation of the questionnaires and evaluate hypotheses at the end of the work a few recommendations for students.
Stress and school assessment

The thesis "Stress and school evaluation" has theoretical and empirical character. The aim of the thesis is to compare the occurrence of stress for students in upper primary schools when different forms of evaluation are used. In the theoretical section, the concept of "stress", different types of stress, and definitions of the terms are given. The manifestations and causes of stress, as well as coping mechanisms, are also described and elaborated. One part of this section deals with the developmental stages of adolescents, and a second part is dedicated to the explanation of different school evaluation forms (assessment and verbal evaluation). The particular functions of evaluations are not neglected. Survey results from questionnaires completed by students from two different schools were used in the empirical section of the thesis. The primary hypotheses and assumptions were defined and elaboration of the results was presented, including well-arranged tables and graphs. In the summary of this research, the stress levels and their relations to different types of evaluation methods are reported.
Effect of cosmetic massage on a selected group of women

This thesis examines the influence of cosmetic massage to a select group of women, the research relates to the impact of regular massage and treatment on hydration and overall skin condition and cosmetic massage influence on the psychological state of the respondents. The theoretical part defines the concept and importance of massage, composition and function of the skin, explains the process of skin aging. The task of the practical part was to confirm the assumptions that regular cosmetic massage has a positive effect on skin condition, increases the level of hydration of the skin and slows aging and delays the formation of wrinkles. Assumptions proved correct. Cosmetic massage acts on the skin's condition and mental well-being of women positively.
Health effects and usage of the training program CrossFit

Bachelor thesis is focused on modern CrossFit training system and its impact on fitness and overall health of men in the age group 20-40 years. In the theoretical part, I described the very essence of this modern practice, potential benefits and health risks. I drew from the available literature and trusted electronic resources related to the topic. At the beginning of the practical part of the intervention motion program was carried entrance investigation aimed at identifying the physical and mental condition of the experimental group of 15 trainees those men in the age group 20-40 years, and 15 of those nonpracticing men ages 20-40 years. With a group of trainees I conducted three months advanced training CrossFit, while both groups conducted continuous measurement values. In conclusion I have exit surveys with those groups. Evaluation of the questionnaire were the basis for processing graphical part, and it was found that CrossFit training at an adequate distribution of the training units and in compliance with proper diet is a valuable activity for overall fitness and health among men in the age group 20-40 years.
The Relationship of the Nature and the Therapeutic Effects of Music-Possibilities of Using in Prevention of Stress

The submitted bachelor dissertation focuses on the relationship between nature and music. The first chapter offers description of musical therapy, its main characteristics, features, distinctions, forms and practical application. The term of musical imagination is also described, as well as effects of music and musical activities on human body. The second chapter discusses nature, its importance and philosophy; and infers various effects the nature might have on humans and how it might influence the wellbeing. The last chapter of theoretical part is dedicated to stress as civilization disease, stressors and its effects on human body; and coping mechanisms of human psyche. Last but not least, i mention various strategies for stress prevention and elimination, and building of a stress resistance. The practical part of the dissertation examines the effects of musical therapy in conjunction with nature elements on a selected focus group. In conclusion i present a proposal of a musical therapy program that may be used in a framework of stress prevention.
Leisure Time Activities and Workload of Primary School Teachers

This diploma thesis focuses on free time activities of elementary school teachers in relation with their perception of workload. In the theoretical part the teacher's characteristics are mentioned, but it primarily focuses on workload and teachers' free time activities. The topics are seen through multiple points of view. Different segments of workload and types of free time are presented. Empirical part is elaborated using in-depth interview with chosen elementary school teachers. The main goal of this research was to uncover, how much the workload influences teachers' spending of their free time and how are they coping with the workload. Participants of this research are coping with the workload well and they are spending their free doing activities completely different from their profession. Most mentioned activities were physical activities, manual labor and sport.
