Approximate determination of the load on the vertical elevator
Šindelek, Milan ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis "Approximate determination of the weight load on the vertical elevator" is concerned with detecting the mass of material in the container storage tower LogiMat. In Chapter Weight container using strain gages described method to determine the weight by using strain gages and their placement in the draft Logimatu. There is also addressed the possibility of using measurements actual size of current asynchronous motor to drive the elevator. In the chapter Editing Software PLC is described library VahaLib that calculates the load from the measured variables on the elevator motor.
Weight sensing of beehives with long-term stability
Vozdecký, Martin ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to describe the design of stable measurement of weight in beehives. Work evaluates suitable types of weight sensors and their effect on stability. The main part of the thesis is a custom design of electronic sensing the weight of the beehive and telemetry data to the user. The concept of engagement enables stable measurement of mass loading of independence on the ambient temperature.
The use of nanofibres strain gauges for construction of linear sensors
Kirchner, Jan ; Kůr, Jan (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to determine the basic characteristics of behavior of nanofiber strain gauges and on the basis of experimental measurements to confirm the suitability of the design of the length sensors. There was a product designed with a swivel arm whose rotation burdens the nanofiber strain gauge affixed to the flat side of the cut. Some measurements were carried out to find out a suitable direction of the loading pressure and to reveal the area showing the linear behavior. This linear area is approximately between 44 ÷ 92 % of the range of the nanostrain gauge (0% maximum load tensile, 100% maximum load pressure). Other measurements dealt with temporal stability of the output value at each point. The outcome of these experiments was to determine the methodology and to propose the design of sensors for further tests, the aim of which was to develop a sensor for measuring small diameters (from 1 to 5 mm). Monitoring stress in the mast
Bednář, Tomáš ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is an issue of measurement and monitoring stressing in the mast – high voltage and very high voltage. The solution of query, including the producer and the users, is also presented. The aim of this thesis is to propose sensors for this measurement and making practical measurement of the concrete very high voltage mast.
The effect of the shrinkage reducing additives on rheological properties of high-strength concrete
Červenka, Jiří ; Kucharczyková, Barbara (referee) ; Daněk, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis examines the effect of the shrinkage reducing additives on rheological properties of high-strength concrete. The first part is focused on high-strength concrete in terms of their composition and properties. The second part contains a detailed analysis of the cementitious composites shrinkage problems. Total shrinkage is divided into individual elementary shrinkages. For each of them there is a detailed description of causes and factors that affect their sizes. The next part describes the basic additives used to reduce the shrinkage of cementitious composites. The experimental part is focused on verifying the effectiveness of the shrinkage reducing additives during preparation of high-strength concrete. Usage of shrinkage drains for relative strain measurement enables to determine the process of shrinkage immediately after placing the concrete in the form and to obtain the overall curve of the hight-strength concrete volume changes during its setting and hardening. At the end of the thesis, there are overall analysis and summary of the results of the performed experiments.
Weight Measurement with Bathroom Scale Strain Gauges
Šenfluk, Petr ; Fuchs,, Michal (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is weigh measurement using strain gauges from cheap digital scales. Work describes problems connected with using strain gauges as temperature compensation and requirements for accurate voltage reference and summarize function and wiring of chaep digital scales using four strain gauges. Result of work is design of an electrical circuit for weigh measurement using four strain gauges from analyzed scale.
Strain Gage amplifier
Kneblík, Adam ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals about method of gain signals from strain gauge bridges. There are mentioned some signal conditioning methods for bridges amplifiers and charactered their properties. In the next part of this thesis are calculated the amplifier errors for various temperature. There are projected individual variants of strain gage amplifiers (instrumentation amplifier AD524, isolation amplifier, switched capacitor based instrumentation amplifier), their properties are compared with strain gage amplifier Vishay P-3500.
Design of electronics for the unstable two-wheel vehicles rider weight monitoring
Holeček, Ivan ; Sova, Václav (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a device that would measure the weight of unstable two-wheel vehicle rider and possible spots to place strain gauges. This thesis also creates instructions how to control chip PGA309 that is primarily designed to amplify signal of strain gauges.
Auxiliary sensorics for unstable balancing vehicle
Solnický, Vojtěch ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis continues on successful project of unstable balancing vehicle, which was completed in mechatronics laboratory in last year. The main goal is to supplement vehicle with display device displaying driving conditions. These conditions have to be acquired first from several sensors. Other issues, which are dealt in this thesis, is problem with damage of electronics due to induced voltage in DC motors with permanent magnets, built-in sensor for obtaining information about driver’s presence and logging driving conditions on SD card. In the end there is described implementation of sensors’ output signals verification.
Literature Retrieval of Robotic Griping System Force Control
Fousek, Jan ; Vlach, Radek (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is making research on the measurement and control of downforce of robotic members. Much of the work is focused on an overview of the sensors for sensing the applied force. The second part deals with the design for fingertip sensor robotic hand.
