Analysis and Verification of Operating Characteristics of Grid and Hybrid Inverters
Vrána, Michal ; Braciník,, Peter (referee) ; Dvorský, Emil (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is an annotated collection of articles focused on the field of verification of inverter operating characteristics and their impact on the operation of the distribution system. The operating characteristics are assessed with respect to the national requirements in the Czech Republic. Within the framework of the solution, articles were published in foreign impacted and peer-reviewed journals and indexed proceedings of foreign and domestic conferences. The main result of the dissertation is the design and implementation of a laboratory workplace for verification of operating characteristics. For the workstation, software equipment was designed and implemented for testing process automation of both, the physical workstation and the virtual testing. By reconfiguring the workstation, it is possible to create a facility for simulating and verifying the effect of autonomous functions on the distribution system within the framework of experimental installation in laboratory conditions or field testing.
Cyclic tests of lithium storage systems
Koňak, Tomáš ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis focused on problematics of cyclic tests of lithium storage systems. The thesis introduces the methods of accumulation of electricity. The practical part deals with the assembly of a workplace for the implementation of automatic discharging and charging cycles.
Tilt and lift mechanism of storage tray
Ostrý, Josef ; Dostál, Petr (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to design a structural arrangement of lifting and tilting mechanism storage tower SSI Logimat, including the design of the drive. The introduction included a description of selected vertical storage systems of different companies and then compared them. Another section includes the design lift and tilt mechanism, calculation and design their drives and the subsequent description of their components. At the end of the master thesis is attached the drawings of the proposed mechanisms.
Control and monitoring of a distributed energy generation systems based on renewable sources with storage system
Smugala, Ondrej ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Vrána, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis is dealing with possible approaches to control distributed energy resources and storage systems. One of these approaches is a virtual power plant and its concept is described in the first part of the thesis. The virtual power plant is a controlled system of distributed energy resources, storage systems and controllable loads interconnected via communication network, that can act as a conventional power plant. The theoretical part contains a survey of control system's topologies, a brief summary of available communication infrastructures and standards. The second part of the thesis is focused on the description of operation and control of hybrid system that represents an inseparable component of virtual power plant. A Matlab Simulink model was created for this purpose. A simulation of hybrid inverter's step response is realised to test the operation of the hybrid system and it is compared with the real measurements in the laboratory. A comparison of control approaches of hybrid system implemented on the basis of measurements is also included in this thesis and was published in the scientific paper attached in the appendix.
Design of automatic feeder of movable shelfs of storage system SSL LogiMat
Stoklásek, Tomáš ; Dlesk, Daniel (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is automatic movable shelves feeder design. the feeder is part of vertical lift storage system Logimat Total weight of movable shelf is 760 kg. The technical report contains feeder design calculation, feeder’s main parts strength calculation and the design of the way of picking the movable shelf from the storage lift. The report also contains feeder’s frame strength analysis using finite element method and sensor design for motion control.
Technical equipment analysis of modern storage systems
Cícha, Tadeáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Strejček, Jan (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is focused on current range of storage systems, concretely conventional and automated. The first part is focused on analysis of storing and types of stocks, way of identification the stocks and their methods of transport. The second part describes the different types of conventional and automated warehouses.
Processing of Uncertain Information in Databases
Morávek, Petr ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The following diploma thesis focuses on processing of uncertain information in databases. Uncertain information represents vague customer requests during laptop choice in classic shop purchasing. Effort of the work is to develop a modern e-shop application selling laptops, which is based on expert fuzzy system helping customers to choose a laptop without knowledge of technical specifications and current trends.
Technical equipment analysis of modern storage systems
Zapletalík, Jiří ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
Bachelor‘s thesis is focused on mapping the current offers of sophisticated storages systems. Today, the storages systems are often implemented to logistic systems in different companies. Part of the systems is usually an automatic loading, unloading and providing the actual information about the storage units.
Wind power generation and energy accumulation possibilities
Krbal, Michal ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to inform about conditions of running and the character of running of the wind power plants and about the suitable storage systems for the possibilities of time invariableness of power supply. For these reasons is immediately in the first chapter of the thesis described state of using wind power plants in The Czech republic and other countries in Europe which produce electric power. Description of individual functional parts is important mainly from the point of electrician conversion of kinetic energy of wind to electric energy with help of the electric power generator with the highest efficiency and without need for maintenance. It is necessary to know those functional parts of the power wind to be able to design appropriate storage system. The output electric power is very variable at time, mainly output voltage, because wind energy is variable too. The characteristics of the wind power plants as output voltage, frequency and their switching graded at time have to in accordance with requirements of the electricity supply systems not to disturb the stability or even collapse of the electricity supply system which would lead to serious economic consequences. These predicaments can be prevented with precise meteorological forecast or by using the acceptable storage system with small acquisition and operating costs, requirements to safeness and long service life, low weight and high efficiency of conversion of energy. The storage systems are classified into centralized and decentralizing systems with requirements to dynamic running and running time. To fulfil these conditions it is essential to choose acceptable and accessible locations with year lasting qualities of wind, which are being checked in advance using measurement and mathematical calculations.
Warehouse system optimization in selected company
JANÍK, Jakub
The aim of this thesis is to optimize the warehouse system in the company Koboz s.r.o, based in České Budějovice. The thesis presents all available information and knowledge related to logistics, warehousing, inventories and their classification, storage and change management. The project part of the thesis describes the company Koboz s.r.o and presents the current warehousing system and warehouse organization, including the technologies used in the company. It also includes an ABC analysis. It also presents suggestions for optimal variants of the warehouse system to improve its efficiency, based on the methodology of data processing and the construction of a new model of the warehouse system.
