Financial demands in preparation of tennis players from various performance levels

Title: Financial demands in preparation of tennis players from various performance levels. Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out a financial demands in preparation of tennis players from various performance levels. Methods: In this thesis was used a quantitative and qualitative methods. The main method, who was used, was a questionnaire survey, which was conducted electronically with parents of children who play tennis and are registered under the Czech Tennis Association. The quantitative method was supplemented by interviews with the parents of children from selected tennis clubs. Results: The results show that the financial demands in preparation of tennis players are significantly higher for players who are in the top 100 of the national ranking. Among the remaining players of the republic ranking, the differences are no longer too significant. It was alsou found that the financial demands in preparation of tennis players vary depending on their age category. The most finncially demanding preparation is in the category under 18 and category under 12 is right next to it. In the category under 14, the preparation costs are a bit lower. Use of grants for development of the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha

Title: Use of grants for development of the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to set up preferred goals for the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha to ensure its successfull development, with an emphasis on the use of grants provided by the City of Prague. Another goal is to create a list of available grant programs for sports clubs in Prague. Methods: Two analysis methods were applied in this study. The first one was based on the analysis of the documents related to the application for available grants. Thanks to this method the overview of the available grants opportunities was created. The second method was SWOT analysis regarding the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha which contributed to the setting up of new partial and strategic task for the positive development of the club. Results: The field hockey sports club in Prague, which own or long term lease the sports real properties, can apply to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for grants. The other field hockey sports clubs can apply for grants of the Prague City Hall or its town disctricts. Grant sport policy in Prelouc town

Title: The subsidy policy applied by the city of Přelouč in sport Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to describe the policy of the city of Přelouč in the support of sport, sports funding at the local level with the description of individual funding opportunity, building sports infrastructure in the long run focusing on receiving grants for sport. Methods: In this diploma thesis the method of mixed research is used consisting of work with documents related to grants provided to selected sports facilities in the city. Further personal or written interviews and questioning with representatives of the city of Přelouč and villages in the district of the city and with sports facilities managers. Results: The result of the thesis is a text that contains information about the support given by the city into the sports infrastructure, description of the areas of financing with an emphasis on subsidies. The city of Přelouč fixed the sport as one if its policy priority and within the budget allocates to sport around 1%. Over the last ten years, the city of Přelouč realized with the help of state and Europe grants three large projects for the expansion of the sports infrastructure. Participatory budgeting as one of the possible sources of funding for sport

Title: Participatory budgeting as one of the possible sources of funding for sport Objectives: Examine particular project financing opportunities for the construction of a street workout park, possibly from public funds provided in grant programs to promote and support sport. Methods: The work used the method of document analysis, then synthesis of the data to create reports for a better orientation in grant programs and also the method of case studies to illustrate solid examples of grant applications. Results: The result is lucid table used for selecting the right grant program in respect of specific case. The work also includes ideas and recommendations based on personal experience gained by participating in the project Moje stopa financed by participatory budget. The methods and possibilities of financing sporting activities from public budget

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to investigate how sport is financed from the Czech Republic's public budget, focusing on Votice. The analysis contains case study in detail which combines sport and Votice. It is possible to see financial aid of sporting activities in recent years and proposals for future improvement of the current situation.
