Dunajová, Karolína ; Fulková, Marie (advisor) ; Jakubcová Hajdušková, Lucie (referee)
This thesis focuses on the concepts of meditation, contemplation and spirituality in visual art. It tries to explain and describe them in the framework of artistic creation in historical and contemporary contexts, in general terms, but also in pedagogical and didactic theories and approaches. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to these concepts within art, pedagogical theory and practice, and to find out how other educators work with these issues within art classes. The theoretical part describes various artistic movements, tendencies, approaches and inspirational perspectives on the themes of meditation, contemplation and spirituality through visual or performative works and artist's statements. The practical part includes the artist's approach to these themes in her own artistic elaboration of the artist's work realized outdoors. In the didactic part, specific artistic tasks and procedures are formulated, which are realized by the pupils of the Primary Art School in Štětí. The didactic work is concluded with a questionnaire survey of 23 respondents of primary and art schools. The results show how teachers work with the concepts in the school and personal level, in what ways they enrich the spiritual life of pupils in the context of teaching and where they look for suggestions,...

Vychází z teoretických a praktických přístupů, přičemž vše propojuje s poznatky získaný během terénního výzkumu. Zohledňuje filozofický, teologický, axiologický, speciálně pedagogický a etický pohled na danou problematiku a hledá srozumitelné...
The Czechoslovak Hussite religious community in Prague's Vinohrady in years 1920-1950
Nováček, Oldřich ; Hrdlička, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Lášek, Jan Blahoslav (referee)
The submitted thesis deals with the history of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, focusing on a detailed analysis of one of its most significant religious community in the Vinohrady district of Prague, from its beginnings in 1920 up to 1950. It spans the first thirty years of its existence within the wider historical context . As all sorts of momentous, sometimes even breakthrough events, assisted to birth a new church, it was necessary to state these events together with the preconditions of its birth. Therefore the volume of the thesis has been extended and more general information from the time preceding the birth of a new church has been included. One individual chapter has been dedicated to the construction of the church building in Prague, the Vinohrady district as I consider that it deserves our adequate attention.

Hanych, Pavel ; Beneš, Ladislav (advisor) ; Moravetz, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis is focused on the spiritual folk songs in the Czech environment, especially from a theological point of view. The first chapter puts the topic in historical, geographical and spiritual context and generally attempts to describe what a spiritual folk song is and from which sources and in which contexts it has been created. The second chapter reflects several theological themes or areas that generally apply to the genre of spiritual folk songs. A separate sub-chapter also reflects biblical songs. The lectures are supplemented by specific examples of songs. The third and largest chapter attempts to map out which areas and situations of human life is spiritual folk song concerned. The chapter is subdivided into three time cycles: day, year, life. This chapter contains numerous examples of songs related to the discussed areas. The last chapter aims to interpret and use the songs in the context of today. It examines how the genre of folk songs generally enters into contemporary culture and deals with the possibilities of practical implementation of this genre in the church hymnology practice. Significance of Psycho-spiritual Care in the Old Age Period. Stimulating the Development of the Elderly in the Field of Special Needs Education
Jičínská, Jana
The Dissertation deals with the issue of the senior age and tries to point out some basic approaches in understanding this very heterogeneous and diversified group, the emphasis is put on the mutual balance between special pedagogical approaches and theological and pastoral impulses. This connection, however, requires searching a common dialogue among sciences and allows finding a quality base for understanding seniors in their integrated story of life and thus promoting a quality but also effective care following the findings of the humanities, medicine and social sciences. The method chosen requires a multidisciplinary approach and education that goes beyond the boundaries delimitating particular disciplines. The source used here is the qualitative research, which was focused on a wide area of the life quality of older people, and which also reflected spiritual issues. In view of the method chosen, the text is embedded in the testimonies of the clients, thereby gaining diversity, authenticity and practical demonstrations of stories, experience and issues. The Dissertation is divided into five chapters that progressively follow the individual thematic areas. It is based on theoretical and practical approaches, all of which are connected with a broader framework of findings gained from the field...
Spiritual poetry of Rudolf Jurolek
Junová, Rut ; Kočandrle Bauer, Kateřina (advisor) ; Šmejdová, Barbora (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the spiritual poetry of Rudolf Jurolek from a religionistic- theological perspective. First, it determines the context of the poet's work through the delimitation of the concept of spiritual poetry and the characteristics of its contemporary form. The thesis then contains a detailed literary-religionistic analysis of individual Jurolek's poetry collections (Dobrovoľná samota, Život je možný, Smrekový les, Poľné vety, Posunok, Putovanie Jakuba z Rána, Hierografia) with an increased interest in spiritual themes and motifs. Subsequently, based on the results of the first two steps, the thesis determines mysticism as a suitable interpretative framework for religionistic-theological research. Among the focal points of Jurolek's spiritual search, nature and poetry, the thesis reveals the connection with mysticism, both on a thematic-motivic level through the figures of particular saints (St. Francis of Assisi, St. Hildegard of Bingen, Plotinus) and through individual phases of mysticism (awakening, purification, enlightenment). The thesis also finds a connection with mysticism in the poet's way of writing which, from the point of view of philosophy, recalls the procedures of Husserl's phenomenology. At the same time, the thesis observes where Jurolek comes closer to the...
