Older Adults Excoursion Tour as a Specific Form of Education

This bachelor thesis focuses on the (sightseeing) tour for older adults as the specific form of education. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introductory chapter the main theme of this thesis is set into the context of demographical ageing and silver economy. Following two chapters focus on the specifics of older adults that are important for participation on tour for older adults. Simultaneously these chapters are focused on educational aspect to subsume the sightseeing tour into forms of adult education. Another part presents the specifics of the sightseeing tour for older adults in accordance with senior tourism. It is followed by analysis of the tour for older adults which are offered by travel agencies in the Czech Republic, which verifies a validity of theoretical knowledge about specifics of older adults presented in previous chapters. Current senior as a participant in tourism

The aim of this bachelor s thesis is to chart the current behaviour, wishes and requirements of the elderly segment within the tourism sector, which could be a great competitive advantage for the companies in the tourism market, especially due to contemporary population aging. The first chapter of this bachelor s thesis clarifies certain specific terms whose specification and subsequent understanding is very important for the fulfillment of the set objectives. The second chapter is already about seniors of 21st century. Mainly about their specific requirements and behaviour not just in the tourism sector but also in their everyday life. The component of this chapter is also clarification of the significantly changing population s age structure which relates to the growth of the senior population. The third part of this thesis includes characteristic of chosen projects and products for seniors in the tourism sector. Apart from the projects, which encourage seniors to travel and products of tour operators, this chapter also deals with the roadshows for seniors. The final chapter is dedicated to questionnaire whose results help particularly tour operators, travel agencies and hotels for which is the knowledge of the preferences of Czech seniors in traveling most important.

Dining traits of the elderly in tourism

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to perform an analysis on how dining needs of mature travellers are accomodated by chosen service providers. Based on the analysis the thesis evaluates the ability of the providers to individually tailor their services to mature guests. Subsequently, certain proposals for improvement are formulated. The analysis is performed on the four providers: an international cruise line specialised in elderly travels and three hotels situated in Prague. The thesis is composed of four parts. The first two parts serve as an introduction to the segment of mature travellers - their needs are identified and explained, also their travelling motivations are revealed. Last two parts are devoted to analysis of the services, summarization of the results and improvement proposals.

Senior tourism in the Region of Vyškov

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the currect conditions of senior travelling in Vyškov district due to the analysis of the offers of the destination and se-nior citizens' needs and wishes. As emerged from the analysis, the tourism industry product was suggested to improve the situation. The primary and secondary data were used for the analysis. The questionnaire survey helped to obtain the primary data. These were described in detail in charts with the comments below. The structured interviews were made with experts in tourism in-dustry in Vyškov district and with senior citizens who travelled around. The results were also reported in the chapter about research. In the chapter about the synthesis, the results and knowledge of the reasearch were compared. Four hypothesis were defined. Three of them were confirmed and one of them were confirmed partially. According to the results of the analyses, the tourism industry products were crea-ted to increase the tourism in Vyškov district. Three types of excursion tour for three types of senior citizen were designed. The first one is for senior citizens who like sightseeing tours. This tour takes place in the historical centre of Vyškov city and other historic sights. The second one is for active senior citizens who like enjoying nature. And the third tour is for the senior citi-zens with grandchildren. This tour includes the visit to the DinoPark and Vyškov fun-fair.

This thesis deals primarily with seniors in the Czech Republic and marketing communications. The main goal of this work is to analyse the marketing communication of travel agencies focusing on a specific segment of seniors. In the theoretical part will be defined segment of seniors in the Czech Republic and the analytical part will evaluate the current state of communications travel agencies. On the basis of the information will be designed the innovation of communication in relation to this segment. For fulfilment of this target will be examined travel agencies primarily by using of the Internet.

Specific travel tourism services and products for seniors in the Czech republic

The thesis deals with specific segments of the senior travel tourism, as an important type of travel tourism in the Czech republic. The specific charackteritics of demands and preferences of seniors are stated. The quality and amount of the services in travel tourism are evaluated and analyzed. Further, the thesis evaluates subjects offering specific products and services for seniors on the Czech market, in particular activities of tour operators, travel agencies and accommodation providers. These subjects are important involved organizations in the changing society according to the process of ageing of population. Also on this account, seniour travel tourism has a big potential to develop. In the conclusion, all the assumptions of the development of senior travel tourism in the Czech republic are evaluated. The goal of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate the level of the services and products being offered to seniors in the Czech republic.

The Spatial Aspects of Selected Forms of Tourism in Moravia

The aim of my work was to evaluate the areal aspects of the selected forms of the tourism for seniors in Moravia. I used various methods. First I specifieded the area, then I chose forms (golf, spa, wellness and cultural tourism) and set up the database for calculations and analysis in the programme ArcGIS. At last I defined suggestions for the next development.

The Spatial Aspects of Selected Forms of Tourism in Bohemia

The aim of diploma work was to evaluate the spatial aspects of spa and wellness tourism, cultural tourism and golf tourism with a view to senior tourism. There were used two types of critesia in spatial analysis - tourism resources and infrastructure. Spatial model of tourism potential shows the places with the greatest potential to enlarge senior tourism. At the end some suggestions are given how to improve tourism offer for segment of seniors.
