The relationship between self-help and professional help, illustrated by the example of the Plzenska zastavka association.

My thesis focuses on the relationship between self-help and proffessional help by way of an example of Plzenska zastavka association. I assessed how this cooperation (connection) works, how the two forms of help comlpement each other and potential limits and restraints. Theoretical part is aimed at defining importatnt related terms and facts using reference literature. Individual forms of helping bereaved are described in this thesis. Individual chapter deals with formation, development and the present of Plzenska zastavka association. The theoretical part is followed by a research which aim is to find out how the connection between self-help and proffessional help within Plzenska zastavka association works. The methodology used is is qualitative research in a form of semi-structured interview.
Characteristics of addictive behavior on the Internet of visitors and users of self-help application of Internet counseling service of Addictologal Clinic at Fist Faculty of Medicine

The development of computer technology intervened to socio-psychological and psychiatric fields and gave rise to several types of online counseling and therapy. As the latest trends in online counseling and therapy self created applications in the textile even non textile addiction. In the Czech Republic was the first self-help application in the treatment of no cloth addiction, clinic was founded in Addictology, the first Medical Faculty of Charles University within the Internet counseling. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the data after the first year of self-help application and to describe the demographic characteristics of users, to map incoming user self- motivated applications and types of objects the internet addiction. In the research issues the thesis deals with the analysis of demographic data, determines whether they are represented in all potential target groups, the degree of dependence on the Internet within the file, depending on what kind of Internet application in the present, and finally discovers self-help application users' motives for its use. Data analysis was carried out under conditions completely anonymous and includes both quantitative descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis. The work contains definitions of mental retardation and activities of everyday life with an emphasis on self-care. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create an educational plan for a particular girl with moderate mental retardation, which is focused on the practice of self-service activities that could be applied in practice.

(in English): The Bachelor thesis Self - help groups, their significance and offer in Czech Republic is focused on experience and a point of view of self-help groups founders and organizers from different towns in the Czech Republic. Moreover, it deals with important factors influencing birth, development and keeping a good- working self-help group. The theoretical part includes features, definitions and typology of self-help groups. It is concerned with the meaning and risks of self-help groups. The research is, through qualitative dialogues, based on so far less discussed topics concerning self-help groups from the point of view of their founders and organizers.
Influence of state policy on cooperatives in the Czech Republic after 1989

The diploma thesis "Influence of state policy on cooperatives in the Czech Republic after 1989" examines the most significant changes that occurred in the evolution of cooperative ideas in Czechoslovakia, respectively Czech Republic after the revolution in 1989. It is solved the question of denial of cooperative principle, or mixing it with other forms of human activity. The work examines the phenomenon after 1989. It does so particularly in relation to institutional change and general context. It uses the particular methods of institutional analysis and discourse analysis. Work takes into account the main socio-political currents and paradigms that while legislative changes and changes in the concept of the moment was most reflected. Work is interested in neoliberal approach that was in our countries present in the nineties. Neoliberal approach is still actual in some of approaches and ideas. Following this is transferred to the applicable standards. This happens in the context of institutional transformation throughout society. At diploma it is important to compare the ideas and principles of cooperatives with the neoliberal approach. It tested the coexistence of neoliberal ideology and cooperatives.
What would you do if you found out that your relative has a problem with alcohol? Mapping the subjective availability of addiction services and other resources to help

This work is concerned with how people solve the situation if they found out that their close person dependent on alcohol. The main research objective of this work is to analyze the subjective availability of addiction services The theoretical part contains a description of alcohol dependence, information about the medical care for alcoholics and information on the current situation in the Czech Republic, the self-help groups. The practical part describes the process of the research itself. First, attention is paid to the methods used, which were semi-structured interviews and then analyzed them using coding, segmentation and categorization of data. Further research file and then presents the results of research, ie 6 categories that emerged from the interviews. Among the most important results is that almost a third of the respondents would not sought any professional help for their loved ones and public awareness of treatment options is low. Furthermore, the results show that more nearly a third of respondents have no confidence in the health care system, much of the distrust was caused by their own residence in the hospital, where they received a negative experience.
