The Texture of Artistic Research: A Self-Reflexive Practice Theory of Art as Education

In Czech Tato studie zkoumá transformační potenciál uměleckého výzkumu, když je aplikován učícím se umělcem ve vzdělávacím prostředí. Jak můžeme porozumět metodologii uměleckého výzkumu aplikované učícím se umělcem ve třídě střední školy? Studie sleduje její původ od bakalářského studia přes magisterské až po doktorské studium. Investigace její implementaci do kurikula designu s cílem vytvořit nové poznatky pro učícího se umělce a studenty. Cílem studie je propojit umělecký výzkum a pedagogiku, čerpajíc z oblastí sociologie, fenomenologie a teorie vzdělávání. Použitou metodologií je Umělecký akční výzkum ve spojení s modelem Výzkumu v didaktice k analýze tří případových studií. Výsledky zdůrazňují obohacení vzdělávacích zkušeností prostřednictvím uměleckého výzkumu, podporují reflexivní přístup učících se umělců a obhajují výzkumný přístup ve vzdělávání.

Complexity of social identity in relation to self-efficacy: analysis of hierarchy significance within a corporate environment

In this paper, we examine the complexity of social identity in the corporate environment and its impact on individuals' perceived self-efficacy. We explore this relationship within the framework of a corporate hierarchy consisting of two identified groups: the BO group (non-technical and support experts) and the FO group (technical and business experts). The perceived prestige of these groups corresponds to a division between the high-status FO group and the low-status BO group. In the theoretical section, we discuss the definition of basic concepts to better contextualize them within the present issue. These concepts include social identity theory, self- categorization theory, the definition of in-group and out-group, and the status of groups. The aim of this endeavor was to investigate the relationship between the degree of identification with the in-group and perceived self-efficacy, how the relationship between identification with the firm as a whole and perceived self-efficacy manifests in the context of low-status/high-status groups, and the relationship between an individual's identification with the in-group and their identification with the whole group. Selection of Optimal Legal Form for Business Activities

Bachelor´s thesis deals with the selection of optimal legal form for business activities for a particular company. It specifies individual evaluating criteria, whit should be taken into account in selection the most appropriate form of business. These criteria´s are further evaluated and compared within chosen forms of business. By comparison of individual variants they are evaluated and chosen for the most suitable legal form for specific businessman.

Advanced Navigation in Heterogeneous Multi-robot Systems in Outdoor Environment

The doctoral thesis discusses current options for the navigation of unmanned ground vehicles with a focus on achieving high absolute compliance of the required motion trajectory and the obtained one. The current possibilities of key self-localization methods, such as global satellite navigation systems, inertial navigation systems, and odometry, are analyzed. The description of the navigation method, which allows achieving a centimeter-level accuracy of the required trajectory tracking with the above mentioned self-localization methods, forms the core of the thesis. The new navigation method was designed with regard to its very simple parameterization, respecting the limitations of the used robot drive configuration. Thus, after an appropriate parametrization of the navigation method, it can be applied to any drive configuration. The concept of the navigation method allows integrating and using more self-localization systems and external navigation methods simultaneously. This increases the overall robustness of the whole process of the mobile robot navigation. The thesis also deals with the solution of cooperative convoying heterogeneous mobile robots. The proposed algorithms were validated under real outdoor conditions in three different experiments.

Modelling of Pulse Propagation in Nonlinear Photonic Structures

V současnosti jsme svědky stále zvyšujících se nároku na rychlost přenosu a zpracování signálu a kapacitu pamet’ových zařízení. Proto se pozornost výzkumných pracovníku zaměřuje k plně optickým zařízením, která by mohla splnit zmíněné požadavky. Jednou z intenzívně zkoumaných možností je využití mikroprstencových optických rezonátoru. Při výzkumu je nutné využít numerických metod, které simulují šíření optického záření v dané struktuře. K tomuto účelu existuje celá rada metod, které se liší v efektivitě výpočtu, použitých aproximacích, i možnostech použití. Cílem této práce bylo vyvinout dvě jednoduché a praktické numerické metody pro modelování šíření pulzního záření v nelineárních vlnovodných strukturách. Přítom bylo požadováno, aby, na rozdíl od obecně známé a často využívané metody konečných diferencí v časové oblasti (FD-TD), bylo možné metody snadno aplikovat při studiu nelineárních struktur založených na mikroprstencových rezonátorech. Proto vyvinuté metody používají některé aproximace, zejména aproximaci pomalu proměnné obálky. Výhodou metod je vysoká rychlost a skromné požadavky na výpočetní zdroje. Obě metody vycházejí ze zkutečnosti, že naprostá většina nelineárních struktur založených na mikroprstencových rezonátorech se skládá ze dvou základních prvku: obyčejných vlnovodu a vlnovodných vazebních clenu. První metoda řeší vázané parciální diferenciální rovnice, které popisují šíření obálky pulzu ve struktuře. Přitom je použito tzv. „up-wind“ schéma vhodné pro parciální diferenciální rovnice popisující šíření vln. Druhá metoda vychází z první; rozdíl je v popisu vazby mezi dvěma vlnovody. Pokud se v první metodě uvažuje realistická vazba rozložená na určité délce, pak druhá metoda je založena na představě vazby nacházející se v jednom místě. Díky tomu je možné integrovat příslušné rovnice a dosáhnout výrazného urychlení výpočtu. Kvazianalytický charakter druhé metody umožňuje dále snadnou klasifikaci různých typu ustálených řešení. Vzhledem k těmto vlastnostem byla druhá metoda využita k výzkumu samovolné generace optických pulzu ve strukturách skládajících se z vázaných prstencových rezonátoru. Obě metody, které byly vyvinuty během této práce, představují rychlé a fyzikálně názorné alternativy k metodě FD-TD, a tak lze očekávat, že mohou hrát důležitou roli při výzkumu nelineárních vlnovodných struktur.

A Company Performance Evaluation Using the EFQM Excellence Model

The master´s thesis is focused on the performance evaluation for the MIKROP ČEBÍN a.s. company using the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the definition of performance and the ways in which it can be measured and evaluated. The current situation of the company is characterized in the analytical part. The evaluation is performed according to the START Model questionnaire, which is derived from the EFQM Model of Excellence. The final part contains measures leading to increase the company's performance.

Assessment of physico-mechanical properties and durability of binder concepts based on purposeful creation of ettringitu

Masters`s thesis deals with study of binder concept based on purposeful creation of ettringite, assessment of physic-mechanical properties and durability. The teoretical part is the mention of ettringite and his function in building materials, are described binder concepts based on purposeful creation of ettringite and self-levelling screed for which the controlled formation ettringite typical. In the practical part are did analysis of raw materials and the composition of the mixture, including types corrosive environment for the assessment of durability. In addition are checked properties of the proposed mixture and evaluated the appropriateness of use of each type of waste materials with regard to the resulting properties.
