The diploma thesis deals with a proposal to build and operate a tourist resort in Croatia. The theoretical part explains all the important concepts and analyses, which are subsequently used in the analytical part. The empirical part also contains an analysis of the current state of the business entity and the situation on the Croatian market. Financial plan and potential risks are defined at the end of the thesis.

Proposal and Valuation of the Investment Project

This diploma thesis analyses project of investment apartment building and aims to study feasibility of business intent. At the opening of theoretical part there are investment projects characterized and further defined single parts of feasibility study, which is extended by description of possible ways of financing. Content of practical part is already design of the investment project which includes its location and technical solution, following in further chapters are market analysis and related key outputs of marketing strategy, included is also financial analysis and assessment of economical effectiveness. At the ending of thesis the risk analysis is made and preventive measures explained.

The Project Proposal for Building of Research Center

This diploma thesis deals with creating a project proposal of the research center construction according to the required specifications by SEDOX Company Ltd. The theoretical part describes the basic knowledge and tools of a project management – analytical tools for evaluating the financial and time project costs, also risk analysis relating to competitiveness and maintaining on top of the market. The third part is devoted to the current situation of the development application market. There is the complete proposal of the research centre construction, using the tools according to the IPMA (International Project Management Association) that were described in the theoretical part. In conclusion I have presented my own solution suggestions, their benefits, project sustainability, return of the investment cost and also long-term prosperity.

Design of foundations for the production hall

The subject of this work is a proposal of foundation, followed by an assessment for a production hall. Options will be discussed and compared against each other. The premises are situated in an area where great layers of gravel are found. A project of shallow foundations, or more shallow foundations founding, will be performed according to Eurocode 7. Designing of geotechnical constructions which are based on given characteristic of presented soils. As a part of this work also is to describe a performing technological procedure of designed founding and an appropriate drawing documentation.

The Business Plan for Establishing of Small Company

This master’s thesis is focused on creation of a real business plan for establishing of the small company. The company is offering scaffold services – assembly and disassembly scaffolding and the other associated support services. The first part of this thesis contains the theoretical background in the field of business, followed by part of the analysis of the external and internal environment. The last part includes a proposal for a concrete business plan, including timetable and implementation.

Bachelor thesis is to create quality plan construction contract for building extensions to industrial halls - PLECHTECHNIK, Brod. The theoretical part describes the quality assurance plan, its development and parts which should include a terms with which we meet with in it. Additionally, there is a series of standards ISO 9000 and ISO 14 000 Getting to Know the company Qatrosystem spol, sro and its analysis. In the practical part quality plans with all the essentials, according to ISO 10005:2006. The last part is developed control plan contract containing all the parts of the project and individual technical inspections during the contract.

Modelling and Risk Analysis of Civil Engineering Project

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the most appropriate use of the building in order to achieve maximum profit. A feasibility study was used to analyze the issue of profitability. The main points addressed in the feasibility study were the marketing plan, cash flow and risk assessment. The result of the thesis is a decision about the project's feasibility based on the project indicators.

Economic Efficiency Evaluation of Public Construction Project

This thesis deals with the issue of assessing the effectiveness of public investment. The first part of the thesis is theoretical. The life cycle of the building is defined in the introduction. The feasibility studies and methods for evaluating the effectiveness of public projects are subsequently described. The practical part of the thesis is aimed at assessing the effectiveness of the public investment project. The evaluated project is the building of a kindergarten in a small village. The eCBA application was used to evaluate the efficiency. A quantitative analysis of the risks related to the project is carried out at the end of this thesis.
