Psychological aspects of a safe classroom climate

The theme of this bachelor thesis is a safe classroom climate. The first part provides a brief view on the complex issue of classroom climate and the second part focuses on this issue from the perspective of psychological aspects of a safe classroom climate. Psychological aspects are divided into developmental, personality and social-psychological. Part of the thesis is also a research project (a correlation study), which aims to determine the relationship between classroom climate and selected psychological characteristic - self-efficacy. Educating Parents in Children's Drug Addiction Problems - A Quantitative Survey Project

The focus of the thesis is on drug addiction prevention in families. Education in the family is seen here as one of the key factors preventing substance addiction. In my work, I emphasize the need to inform and educate parents in this area and put forward solutions in the form of the project "Educating Parents in Children's Drug Addiction Problems". The purpose of the project is to publish a handbook for parents titled "Do You Know About Drugs What Your Child Does?" The publication will provide parents with basic information about drug addiction. In addition to theoretical knowledge about drugs, parents will also be offered practical advice and guidance on how to prevent potential problems with drugs in their children, on how to react when they learn about the child's experimentation with drugs and, last, but not least, how to act in the situation when they find out that their child is already drug-addicted. Prior to writing the handbook, quantitative survey of parents has been undertaken to map the situation in the area of drug addiction prevention in families. Valuation of Secondary School Young People

The project is about value orientation of high school students in Czech Republic. The theoretic part describes values in a general notion, their functions and agents, that influence them. In this part is also ephebic evolutionary period, free time, life style and value orientation of youth described. The practical part of project is a research, in that I tried to analyse the value orientation of accomodated students that means a sample of high school students. The research followed the preference of instrumental and target values and it tried to verify given hypothesis in advance.

VIDEO-PRODUCTION – Perfect aid in introduction of the reseaRch institute to talented students

The goal of the paper is to inform the conference participants about the basic research project in the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (JHI), which focuses on producing and verifying a methodology of involving the young generation in research activities and thus arouse or deepen their interest in their future occupation. The project team proposes and works out the multimedia tools to present the research at JHI to students: (i) minute clips of twenty laboratories; (ii) movie with title „Homo Scientis,“ (app. 20 minutes) introducing scientists from the institute through interviews not only about the topics of their research, but also about their hobbies and family-life e.g.; (iii) multimedia CD-ROM, which comprises texts, photos, pictures, clips and other material created in such manner to provide information about research at JHI also to interested general public.

Job satisfaction and its development in the firm X.Y.

The goal of my diploma thesis was to do a research of job satisfaction by using a comparison of its outputs with results of a previous research to observe the progress of the satisfaction in the company involved. On the basis of an agreement with the management of the firm needed information was gathered up through an electronic questioning. The collected data was processed to help to identify week areas and to recommend solutions for improving management practices and work organization within the company.
