Street Lighting Control
Kořenek, Jan ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals in a theoretical part with the origin of the light, his features and lighttechnical quantities. There are also characterized light sources, which are currently most used to control street lighting. There are further described basics of the street light and currently most used ways of street lighting control. Further part of this thesis is focused on practical control of different types of light sources and monitoring their parameters, such as luminous flux, power, efficiency or correlated colour temperature during voltage reduction. These light sources are high pressure sodium lamps, halogenid lamp, fluorescent lamp and high pressure mercury lamp. Main conclusion from measurements are several cross characteristics, where is possible to monitor behavior of the parameters during voltage reduction. The last part concerned about practical street lighting control in Bezděkov, which is a village located near Havlíčkův Brod. There was connected the dimmer. On the street was created net of points according to the standard. In these points were measured illuminance for voltage 230 V and then for lower voltages 210 V and 190 V. These values were processed and average and minimum value was compared with the value defined in the standard.
Design of DC motor drive for 3D printer stepper motor drive replacement
Králík, Jan ; Spáčil, Tomáš (referee) ; Chalupa, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to create a module for control DC motor using signals which are used to control a stepper motor. The module will be implemented into existing 3D printer. This work also includes testing of a new drive and its comparison with the prior stepper drive. The thesis also contains comparison of performance of both drives in terms of quality 3D printing.
Implementation of PSD controller into microcontroler MCF52233
Lang, Stanislav ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is the project and realization of a digital regulator, including the possibility of user’s settings. The first two chapters, which present a theory and a survey of the problem of digital regulation, offer an introduction as far as the used hardware (32-bit microcontroller M52233 from the company Freescale) is concerned. The main part of my thesis deals with the description of concrete implementation of regulation algorithms into the selected hardware as well as the communication with the regulation unit and the selection and basic configuration of the peripheral used.
Cascade Boiler Houses of System Regulation
Smola, Vojtěch ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about designing cascade of condensing boilers and regulation for four storey house with unheated basement. Cascade consists of three condensing boilers that are controlled by the three-zone weather-compensated control. Heating systém is controlled via shung circuit with electronically controlled mixing valves. The heating system is designed to ensure the smooth function of the heating systém and the boiler operates as the largest part in condensing mode. In this thesis were designed mixing control units and control valves to operate across the range. The proposed heating system meets the requirements for housing corresponding to European standards.
Intake Control Mechanism of Compressor Housing
Bartoníček, Richard ; Doman, Jozef (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis pursues a design of mechanism for controlling the amount of air sucked by a turbocharger compressor. In the first part, there is a brief description of a turbocharger and its characteristics, in the second part the usual regulation methodologies are presented. Third, the main part describes the creation of the mechanism from concept drafts and their comparison, through the kinematic and force analysis of control parts, to the complete packaging a connection to the compressor housing. The fourth part is dedicated to the mechanism analysis in the terms of ability to perform as required.
Use of dynamical model for control of heating
Veselý, Antonín ; Vlach, Radek (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This work deals with finding and verifying available identification methods and self-tuning controllers algorithms. It’s the theoretical foundation for software development with this focus range.
Complex lighting system
Šipr, Jan ; Hadinec, Michal (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This paper deals with the theoretical basic principles of lighting and regulation. On the basis of theoretical knowledge, there was task to design a lighting system tailored to your needs. Additionally, there is a communication protocols used in lighting technology DMX and ArtNet.
Management of Heating Energy at Home
Dohnal, Stanislav ; Grepl, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The aim is to adapt the old heating system so that the new system will meet the needs of users and facilitate control of system. The new heating system can independently control heating automatically. Its important part is remote access to system control. The user always has up-to-date information and can adjust the heating to suit his needs.
Heating of flat house
Hánl, Jiří ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The theme of my bachelor´s thesis is heating proposal and hot water preparation in apartment house. The teoretical part is focud on applicability and constructional solution of fittings. The calculating part consists of heat source proposal, hot water preparation, distribution of heating water and heating elements design. In the building there are proposed two heat sources, the first one for heating water and the second one for hot water preparation. The heating elemets are panel, tubular and floor convectors. The project part consists of technical report and drawing doocumentation.
Change of voltage at LV terminals of a MV/LV power distribution transformer caused by changes in its load
Jandora, Jiří ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the use of distribution transformers, their integration into the electrical network, their properties, and principles and means of regulation according to changes in load. The introductory chapter is devoted mainly to the theoretical background concerning the functioning of the transformers. Even though it is not the focus of this thesis, a brief summary of their structure will be provided because it is presumed that not all the readers are familiar with this particular electrical network block and thus they should be explained how the transformer works. Then the ways of transformer regulation will be outlined. In the theoretical part, the important point for the reader is the substitution of the transformer by two-port network i.e. the equivalent circuit. The two-port network is a substitution of the connection properties by simple electric elements, which are not so problematic for further use. When dealing with the two-port networks in the chosen equivalent circuit, Blondel’s constants will be used. Blondel’s constants facilitate working with the basic network invariables of the circuit such as amperage, voltage and power. The second part of the thesis is devoted to solving a problem that involves the use of distribution transformers. The problem is as follows: there is a manufacturing plant with three transformers, each of them having rated power and nominal transformation ratio. The manufacturing plant is supplied by HV three-phase line with rated voltage and parameters given by the distribution point, where constant voltage is maintained. The task is to determine in what ways the voltage of the low voltage terminals of the transformers will change when changing the power from idling circuit to the rated load. The power factor should be constant. The method for solving this task has already been outlined in the theoretical part. The results are summed up in a simple chart completed with diagrams, which concisely describe the result of the research.
