Organization, Management and Distribution in Samson brewery

The diploma thesis presents the analysis of brewery Samson; especially the work contains issues of logistics and warehouse management. The thesis is divided into some parts. Mostly there are the subjects in sphere of purchasing, production, sales, distribution, logistics, and warehouse economy. The main attention of diploma thesis was directed at possibility of store positions enlarging. Above all it is the question of roofed areas which are in absence. As following they are proposed the prospective answers of single defects in warehouse management and possible implementation of lean production. The end of the thesis is dedicated to complete conclusion of possible answers and their effect on warehouse management and the whole company.
Select suppliers and inventory management in the enterprise

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the customer-supplier relations and analysis of inventory management applied to an anonymous company titled the "Company X". The Company X is mainly engaged in business specializing in the sale of roofing systems, in the position of a distributor in the logistics chain delivering the goods to end customers which includes building material users, individual builders, roofers, tinsmiths and carpenters. It has about 18 branches and has 180 employees. This thesis is focused on a branch based in České Budějovice.
New Phenomena and Trends in the International Procurement

The thesis provides further details related to the company purchasing activities (procurement). Using both theoretical and practical knowledge it gives further details on new phenomena related to purchasing process. The thesis is made of three main parts. The first one explains terms further used in the thesis. The next section provides more details on the most obvious trend which is movement from traditional understanding of purchasing to the attempts to build a relationship with the supplier. Besides this key phenomenon there are further examples/trends given. The last section relates to the explanation of how the proper purchasing process should be set-up in the global corporation.
Logistic processes and activities in a construction company

In my Bachelor's thesis, I am concerned with purchasing processes, storing and transportation activities and information systems used in the construction company. I focus on defining the processes and activities and their usage in the firm's operation shown on practical examples from Mota-Engil. I characterize logistics generally and also the business logistics. Important are the specific aspects of building industry, which determine the course of its logistics. It differs from other branches in many characteristics, for example from manufacturing companies with mass production which are frequently used for the modeling of logistic operations. I analyze and work with data from researches, statistical surveys and my own observations. On the basis of the findings, I explain current situation, assess possible solutions and suggestions of adjustments.
Purchase and life cycle of Storehouse

Each organization manages some property. Care of this property and its use for attainment of the given organization is an important part of owners´ and managers´ work of every level of managing of the given organization. The main point of this bachelor´s work is processing of documents for realisation of a bigger investment ? a new storehouse making and at the same time to point out more sensitive moments, such as investment plan creating, a storehouse purchasing, the moment of the storehouse being put into operation and depreciation. The point of main target is the evaluation if purchasing of this storehouse was a bargain.
Purchasing parts management in the company Skoda Auto a.s.

This dissertation is mapping the practise of securing of purchased parts within Skoda Auto company in pre-production and production of vehicles. There are two approaches compared: existing and new one so-called Kaufteilemanagement. Was done analysis of causes of complications with parts delieveries. Was done analysis of tools used for securing of purchased parts. There are new possible tools proposed. Methods of data acquisition: analysis of empirical data, consultations and discussions with Skoda Auto personnel.
Purchasing and supply in joint stock company Jihočeská zelenina

The Bachelor's work is called Purchasing and supply in joint stock company Jihočeská zelenina. This work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretic and it is used as a background for the second practical part. In this section is described the last years 2003-2008 and the current situation in the company. The goal of this work was to show how the company has been effective in the purchasing and supply and try to propose new more effective basic steps and solutions how to improve activities in this sector in the factory.
Procurement process in a manufacturing company in international environment

The diploma thesis deals with procurement process and ensuring of sources in a manufacturing company. The thesis is split into two parts. The first theoretical one deals with importance of procurement in creating economic value in a company, defines procurement, its goals and factors influencing it, describes procurement process, i.e. strategic sourcing, operational purchasing, procurement controlling, supplier relationship management, and procurement process support by IS/ICT. The second practical one analyses procurement process in a selected Czech manufacturing company in the mentioned areas and proposes recommendations for improvement.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe logistic processes which are running within the particular company and which are inevitable for continuous and effective production in accordance with customers' demands. Further, the purpose is to identify main deficiencies of these processes on the ground of the author's theoretical knowledge in the logistics sphere, and to propose potential improvements. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical section is focused on the definition and development of logistics, as a tool for increasing effectiveness and competitiveness of the company. Part of this section is also a description of the concept of minimizing total logistic costs. Second, practical section describes logistic processes and tasks as they are performed in selected company. In this section, author focused mainly on purchasing, warehousing, and material flow through out the company during the whole process of production of final product. As a part of this block is also a identification of main deficiencies and proposed improvements. Purchasing and inventory management with the use of consignment stock

Purchasing as a firm part of each company is an important department considerably influencing functioning of a firm. I confirm this fact and describe possible positions of purchasing department in the organizational structure of a company and internal organization of the department. I describe purchasing strategies and procedures with a focus on the modern trends and procedures, which are used in today's world. The second part is about the consignment stock, which is one way of lowering the stock level and thus, capital costs.
