Reflection of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in Life Stories of Psychologists

The thesis presents the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy as reflected by representatives of the field. Through biographical narratives, I have attempted, together with the narrators, to identify moments and events in thein lives that may have had a decisive influence on thein choice of profession and also to describe thein professional development. At the same time, I tried to presented thein occupation in more details including the fact how it affects thein personal lives. From a methodological point of view, the thesis is primarily based on the biographical narratives of five narrators, most of whom have more than ten years of experience in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
Tthe personality of foster parent in the system of the substitute family care in the Czech Republic

Thesis deals with the personality of foster parents in the current systém of the substitute family care in the Czech republic. The theoretical part describes the current substitute care system in our country, the specifics of foster care and the role of psychologists in the mediation process and subsequent implementation of foster care for children. All of these topics are presented based on the study of professional domestic and foreign sources and are contextualized topic personality of foster parent. Expert witness - psychologist in criminal trial

anglicky The aim of this diploma is to describe the role of an expert psychologist witness in criminal trial and to define purpose of forensic psychological assessments. It also tries to answer current questions related to the field of psychological expert opinions. The psychological forensic expert witness is appointed in the same way as other legal expert witnesses. That means he has the same rights and obligations as them. The first chapter is therefore devoted to connoisseurship in general. It deals with the historical development of expert witnesses, current applicable legislation and upcoming legislative changes in this area. The second chapter approaches other expert witnesses in court too. It includes number of forensic experts in various fields and compares expert psychologists to psychiatrists, who often provide their opinions alongside psychologists'. The main part of the chapter is left to expert opinions. It clarifies terms such as personality, intellect, memory, motivation and dangerousness of the offender, that are the most commonly evaluated aspects. Conclusion of second chapter summarises the expert opinions in selected EU countries and the USA. The final chapter is devoted to the expert report as evidence in criminal proceedings. Alternative family care in Czech Republic and possibilities of psychologist's involvement in this field

The diploma thesis is concerned about the theme of alternative family care in Czech republic, it is focused on psychologist's involvement in this field. It report summary of informations about menaced and abandoned children, about types of alternative family care, about profession of psychologist, who is concerned this theme and about failings in contemporary system. Empiri- cal part of the diploma thesis bring enrichment of opinions and point of view of experts working in this field, describe profession of psychologist, garner observations of experts to problems, which they see from their experience in alternative family care and bring suggestions for solu- tion. The diploma thesis give informations about possibilities in education of psychologist and organization's service for alternative and biological families. This diploma thesis is intented for psychologist, as well as for all the experts who wants to work in this field.
Psychological aspects of the consequences of criminal activity in convicted men serving imprisonment

The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the consequences of imprisonment from a psychological point of view and to compare it with the testimonies of convicts. Every convicted person who gets into a prison is exposed to psychological problems associated with imprisonment. These problems can be associated not only with pleading guilty and accepting a sentence connected with a commited crime but also with, a transition from civil life to life in prison, adaptating to life in prison, dealing with restriction of freedom and restrictions of contact with their loved ones and so on. The thesis has a theoretical part divided into three chapters, where data has been added from transcripts of interviews with four sentenced men. The first chapter focuses on the characteristics of serving imprisonment, including the functions and the purpose of imprisonment and on penitentiary psychology. The second chapter describes the adaptation of prisoners to imprisonment in view of the length and frequency of imprisonment as well as the personality of the convicted person. The third chapter focuses on the psychological aspects of imprisonment (the second life of prisoners, aggression, bullying, suicide, self-harm, abuse and use of narcotic and psychotropic substances, limiting social contacts). The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the consequences of imprisonment from a psychological point of view and to compare it with data from interviews with sentenced persons.

1 The therapeutic and educational approaches in forensic detention Autor: Mgr. Dušan Gáč Annotation The Forensic detention measure has not long tradition in the Czech Republic. It is a relatively new institution which exists in the Czech Republic as a protective measure since 2009. In this year the Act of Forensic Detention No. 129/2008 has become it's legitimacy. Experts as psychologists, pedagogues, jurists, psychiatrists and others participated on the establishment of the forensic detention measure. The main reason of this act was that the placement of extremely dangerous perpetrators in psychiatric hospitals had not met the safety criteria, and because the requirement for sophisticated protection of the society in connection with the proper professional care and treatment was not fulfilled. Consequently after the decade of existence of the Forensic detention facility in Brno the author of this rigorous thesis named ,,The therapeutic and educational approaches in forensic detention " balances the positives and negatives in work with detainees and implies the trend and approximative prognosis of its next development. The interrogation practice and solution methods of child abuse investigators

This diploma thesis is comprised of a theoretical section and a practical section. The first theoretical subchapter introduces the CAN syndrome. The second theoretical subchapter focuses on the relevant international and national child protection legislation. The third subchapter "Child Interrogation" deals with the issue of the historical development of child interrogation techniques and methods, and the currently recommended interrogation techniques used to interrogate children in keeping with the Act on Criminal Judicial Procedure No. 141/1961 in the Czech Republic. The third subchapter also concerns with the character traits of the investigator, the qualification requirements of this profession and the fundamental methodology used to prevent a child's secondary victimisation. The fourth theoretical subchapter focuses on the specially designed interrogation room used, among others, for child interrogation.
