Projective techniques and work with symbols as a tool for personality development
Bobek, Milan ; Niederlová, Markéta (advisor) ; Šípek, Jiří (referee)
The work focuses on qualitative research of possibilities and limits of the use of picture cards symbols (including Tarot) that would serve the clients in coaching and therapy as a projective technique leading to their deeper self-knowledge and personal development. Respondents told their life story based on picture cards. We show here under what conditions this projective technique brought them new information and inspiration for their self- development, in what forms the method can be applied and what methodical procedures are most effective. The simple clients' description of the selected images did not bring them much substantially new. It began to be more inspirational for them when a consultant added targeted questions, his reflections and hypothetical interpretations, or even explained standard meanings of symbols. Then this technique started to speak to clients more and brought them new impulses. Even more inspiring for them it became, once an element of chance was incorporated - when they pulled out some cards at random. The thesis finally formulates detailed recommended general methodology for projective technique application for personal growth and discusses possibilities and limits of the use of projective methods in coaching, therapy and personal development seminars.
The use of therapeutic potential of projective techniques in family therapy. The "Enchanted stones technique"
Štípek, Petr ; Junková, Vendula (advisor) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
The opening chapters of this thesis are dedicated to the introduction and definition of psychotherapy as a whole as well as its sub forms - individual, group, couple and family therapies. The thesis further focuses on the family therapy, its history, selected approaches, and several commonly used methods. Following this, the thesis defines the terminology of projection, projections methods, and introduces a particular projective method 'Enchanted Stones'. The practical application of this method is documented by a number of case studies, photographs and transcripts of family therapy video recordings. The thesis concludes with a critical assessment of this technique and a summary of the application of this method in family therapy by the author as well as other experts.
Application of the IDS (Intelligence and development scales for children) and aperception technique in the evaluation of social and emotional competence of children
Štarková, Monika ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Goldmann, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of social and emotional competencies in 7 - 10 years old children and with comparison of different techniques of their measurement. The aim of the study is to evaluate these competencies by using Intelligence and Development Scale for Children (IDS) and to compare them with the social and emotional level of the same sample proven in the selected apperception technique (the Child's World of Michal's projective interview evaluated with SCORS technique). It is therefore a question of comparison of performance-based intelligence test and apperception technique. The focus of this study is to identify whether there is a relationship between the social-emotional scales of IDS and the selected scales of SCORS. This comparison is grounded in the assumption that both methods evaluate similar psychological constructs and therefore their results should correspond. The theoretical section deals with the development of emotional and social competencies in children and their specifics in a younger school age, then the introducing of apperception techniques and intelligence development scales with emphasis on the methods chosen for the present study. The empirical section provides analysis of data obtained from both diagnostic methods. Item analysis and reliability estimates...
Application PFT in adults in psychological counselling
Míková, Gabriela ; Čáp, David (advisor) ; Lukavský, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis handles the possibilities of applying the Rosenzweig PFT in psychological counselling concerning the adult population. At first, the definition of psychological counselling in our environment is discussed. The following chapter deals with projective methods in psychological diagnosis of adults. This bachelor thesis aims to describe Rosenzweig PFT, mainly its administration, evaluation and description of psychometric indices. Several examples of application of this method in various fields of theoretical and applied psychology are included. The main area of this bachelor thesis is dedicated to the possibilities of usage of this method within psychological counselling. This work covers specific diagnostic possibilities of application of this method supported by research studies. The empirical part deals with measuring of development and type of reactions of subjects who went through the intervention program. Rosenzweig PFT is used in order to record the expected change.

The marketing research of the image of sports brands
Vacková, Kateřina ; Voráček, Josef (advisor) ; Čáslavová, Eva (referee)
Title: The marketing research of the image of sports brands Objectives: The objective of the inquiry is to identify the image of the 5 best known sports brands on the Czech market from the Prague generation Y point of view, whose age limit is defined by Bergha (2012). At the very end of the survey we then compare the acquired results with one another. Methods: The center of interest was the brand and how the consumer perceives it. The marketing research, used in this survey in the form of the electronic inquiry, can be assessed as quantitative with the use of qualitative techniques. It is based on studying the respondents' approach to competitive brands from one market segment. As crucial in the questionnaire was a battery of personal qualities, which was however supplemented by modified projective techniques, i.e. association tests and emotional connection of brands with colours. Results: The inquiry results show that among strongly perceived personal qualities of the examined sports brands is "trustworthy" which gives the impression of active life and health. Among neutrally perceived attributes is "exciting" and quite unapt characteristic is "aggressive". When evaluating the emotionality of the brands by means of limbic mapping, colours like black, white, blue and red predominantly dominate....

Using of colored modification of Wartegg´s drawing test by people with deppresion
TŘÍSKOVÁ, Kateřina
This bachelor thesis is focused on working with coloured modification drawings of Wartegg's drawing test for people with emotional disorders, specifically depression. The main goal of the theses is to describe the diferentialities in working with WZT in comparison among two groups people with diagnosed depression and without depression. In the theoretic part are described starting-points for search. It´s about research of professional literature, which is on the same topic. Here are described projective methods, projective techniques and projection. The main part desribes the character of the Wartegg drawing test and its history. Next, the thesis includes a chapter about depression. Here the illness is described, as well as its symptoms, causes a manifestations in drawing. In the practical part it deals with the research and description of differencialities in drawings of people with diagnosed depression and those without depression. It is focused on characteristic features in drawing among people with depression.
