Verner, Lukáš ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Kravka, Martin (advisor)
he main purpose of this semestral thesis is to get to know programming of Atmel AVR microcontroller, working with SD/MMC cards, working with ethernet (TCP/IP) to create a standalone programmer of AVR microcontroller with ethernet connectivity. The first part deals with the questions of programming theory of memories inside microcontrollers and description of programming algorithm. The most used programming method is called „In System Programming“ - ISP. This method provides easy and fast manipulaton. Concept of this programmer is designed for this ISP method. In this thesis is too explain how to work SD/MMC card and file systém FAT16. This knowledges are necesary to store binary program inside standalone programmer. In final part and in attachments there is hardware design, electrical scheme, bill of materials, printed circuit board.

Prax, Jan ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object oriented programming and testing of a software in general. A reader is also acquainted with the TwinCAT 3 integrated development environment in which a unit testing framework is created. This framework is also going to be implemented in this environment.
In-System Programmer for ICSP Interface of Pic Microcontrollers
Doležal, Pavel ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with a design of programming device with the expected use for Microchip PIC 16F and 18F microcontrollers. Individual chapters are dedicated to aspects of circuitry, printed circuit board design and user software tools. The proposed device is based on PIC18F67J50 microcontroller, graphic LCD diplay, and memory card interface. Design can be easily adjusted in order to support wide range of devices. Microchip's In-Circuit Serial Programming protocol is described with focus on previously mentioned family of devices. Working prototype of the programmer is attached to this thesis as a demonstration of a practical outcome.
Multifunction data acquisition, measurement and control device
Trávníček, Ivo ; Vlachý, David (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
The thesis deals with and tests the Multifunction data acquisition, measurement and control device. The unit is based on the microcontroller ATmega, which was programmed in the language C. The unit contains functions for the measurement of physical quantify, filtering record, regulation of the dynamic systems and communication with PC. Configuration of the unit is real-time in special software created in the language Matlab or by a terminal. The purpose of the unit is controlling a DC motor by the PID regulator, long-term measurement of temperature or measurement of acceleration by an accelerometer.
Industrial programmer Atmel AVR microcontrollers
Gryžboň, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement an industrial programmer AVR microcontrollers from Atmel. The first section provides the theoretical knowledge of the AVR microcontroller. Furthermore, comparison of methods for programming the microcontroller and the selected method is an analysis of the speed of programming. The following is the entire design of industrial programmer which is implemented in the programming environment Eagle. In the penultimate part of the proposal is designed PCB. The final section is devoted to the revival of the programmer and programming.
Automated measuring device for testing ELNEC programmers
Pražák, Jiří ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis deals with the verification of parameters of Elnec BeeHive304 programmers. First, the reader is briefly introduced to the Elnec BeeHive304 programmer. Much emphasis is placed on the previous manual parameter verification. The aim of the work is to design and implement possible solutions for automation of the measuring process. In the main part of the thesis, two prototypes of a suitable automatic electronic measuring instrument for automated parameter measurement of the Elnec BeeHive304 programmer are designed and implemented.
An external pulse generator for neuromodulation
Flídr, Lukáš ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The main objective of this work is to explain and familiarize with neuromodulation, its use and possibilities of its application in current medicine. It will also focus on the basic configuration and the block concept of an external generator and the time courses of the generator are described. In the first phase the base of neuromodulation is explained, then the main application, the implementation of this technology and the possibility of its application in modern medicine. Further to the work we will find an overview of equipment used for neuromodulation. The other part is focused on a design of an external generator using a MOTOROLA Nitron HC08 series microcontroller, its configuration and finally description of the time courses (impulses) from the device, that are used for neuromodulation.
External pulse generator for neuromodulation
Flídr, Lukáš ; Říčný, Václav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the treatment of chronic pain by using neuromodulation, where a external generator is used in a trial period. In the first section the principle of pain management is described and then the main nature of neuromodulation. The possibilities of chronic pain suppression are described, where we are mainly dealing with neurostimulation (stimulation with electric current). For better understanding, examples of neurostimulation usage are shown, where and in what problems it is used. Because this work deals with an external generator for a trial period (a trial system), the possibilities of testing electric impulses are described, which are then used in a implantable generator IPG. The requirements for such a external generator are also described, which are important for the design of such a device. The design of the device is firstly modeled by a block scheme, where function of the separate blocks is described and afterwards, the entire design of the external generator for neuromodulation is given. The test sample of the external generator is manufactured and tested.
Automated firmware upload of many AVR microcontrollers over SPI bus
Boštík, Jiří ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to construct a circuit for automated programming more microcontrollers Atmel AVR through the SPI bus and to devise and execute demonstration plant that will be able to automate this task, at least partially, therefore, ideally without human intervention, one programmer to load the firmware into more microcontrollers. The theoretical part describes the components that are used in the work, the description of their functionality and usability. For switching between microcontrollers we have a choice of two options. The first option is monitoring of the signal "reset", which is a simpler variant of SPI, or decoding the Atmel instructions. Thanks to the simplicity and practicality of the work will be used to monitoring of the signal of the "reset". For a better understanding in the work described how the whole problem will be work. They will describe each of the steps and for better orientation will be the block diagram too, which represents the most important part of the work. The practical part focuses on the practical testing of the proposed solution. In order to monitor the signal of the "reset" first we have to coordinate asynchronous counter with signal "reset" it to properly reply to a downward edge. Next we bring from the asynchronous counter BCD code with which the decoder switches to each of the microcontrollers using the switching transistors and then they are gradually programmed. Work will be used the programmer AVR Dragon, for which it will be used by the batch file for atprogram.exe, which is a standard part of Atmel Studio 6. In the work will be at least a partial test of the proposed problem to contact layer the field.
Developmental kit width AVR microcontrollers
Dostál, František ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Dlouhý, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor´s thesis is the implementation of development kit with AVR ATmega16 processor and creation a simple program to verify the functionality of all the peripherals. Part of the solution is the JTAG programmer. Programs are developed in C language and tested with all necessary peripherals microcontroller, timer / counters, A/D converter, ports, USART unit. Also there were programms developed, that ensure scanning the keyboard matrix, LED lighting, crystal transducer activation, measurement using tilt sensors ADXL 330, communication with the LCD and easy connection to a mobile phone.
