The influence of the Family Constellation Method on the family system

Family constellations are a psychosocial method that focuses on uncovering and resolving hidden dynamics and behavior patterns in family systems, enabling clients to gain new perspectives on their problems and create new paths to solutions. This method is used to address various issues, such as family conflicts, relationship problems, depression, anxiety disorders, and others. However, despite its potential benefits, family constellations do not receive enough attention from the general public, which was one of the factors that led me to choose this topic. This bachelor's thesis examines the impact of the family constellations method on the functioning of the family system, with a main focus on the statements of active participants in this method. A qualitative research investigation was conducted in the form of a semi-structured interview, aiming to determine the subjective perceived impacts of the family constellations method on the functioning of the family system. Specifically, the study aimed to explore what this method brings to the participants in relation to their family system. The method of comparison and contrast was used for the analysis of statements. Social work with clients addicted to gambling

This bachelor thesis deals with social work with clients addicted to gambling. The thesis is theoretical and divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of addiction, common features of non-substance and substance addiction and symptoms of addictive behavior. The second chapter describes gambling as well as the associated problem of gambling addiction, in other words pathological gambling. It also deals with the types of gambling, online gambling, the effects of gambling addiction and the regulation of gambling in the Czech Republic. The third chapter focuses on social work with clients addicted to gambling. It describes social counseling which aims to stabilize the addict's social conditions, through brief intervention and debt counseling. Another important subchapter is working with the family and strengthening the motivation of addicts.
Working with a family in the process of addiction treatment within therapeutic community

Use of mind-altering substances may result in an array of adverse, especially health and social, consequences for drug users as well as for their close persons. Help to solve mentioned problems provide various types of drug services. The vast majority of drug services in past did not take into account the fact that relatives might suffer due to drug use of their family member too and thus they also might need specific professional help. The aim of this work is to capture and describe the process of therapy with regard to the perception and experience of the close persons of clients of therapeutic community. In order to adequately understand the situations, we must first determine what elements constitute them. The work is based on a qualitative approach and research group consists of close persons of clients of the therapeutic community WHITE LIGHT I. The results show that it is possible, based on the analysis of data, to define each stage of the therapeutic process from the perspective of family members and name them according to chronology and important characteristic. The inclusion of persons close to drug users into treatment process contributes significantly to improvement of their lives and relationships quality. Methods of Social Work in Families with a Child in the Terminal Phase of a Disease

Annotation: The aim of the thesis " Methods of Social Work in Families with a Child in the Terminal Phase of a Disease" is to answer the basic research question, which reads: "How do the social workers of selected Prague organizations focusing on child palliative care perceive the application of methods of social work with child clients in the terminal stage of the disease? " A partial aim of this thesis is to describe the current state of child palliative care in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this diploma thesis is not to map all the methods of social work that could be used in practice, but to note the seriousness, the topicality of the problems and to point out the different perception of the given situation.
Analysis methods of work at a boarding form of preventive educational care

This master thesis deals with the importance of preventive educational care where educational care centres belong. More specifically the thesis is focused on Educational Care Centre in Domažlice. The theoretical part characterizes the principle of stay in hall of residence and mainly the methods and forms of work which are used during working with clients. Furthermore, it describes the cooperation with other subjects and organizations which the educational care centre cooperates with and in this way supports the client to improve his/her behaviour. For the practical part, the qualitative research was chosen with the usage of designs of case study and especially the methods of grounded theory. The research was focused on the influence of the methods and forms of work on the change, reducing or eliminating already developed behaviour disorders. The influence is evaluated from the clients and their parents' perspective. On the grounds of the research the responses on the research questions are formulated at the end of the thesis.
