Application of Fused Deposition Modelling Method to Production of Planetary Mechanism Model

This thesis aims to deal with designing and construction of the planetary mechanisms mod-el with using the technology of Rapid Prototyping. Virtual model was designed by para-metric program SolidWorks 2013 and produced by 3D printer called Dimension uPrint, which uses Fused Deposition Modeling for the production. The thesis also includes the description of the planetary mechanism especially from theoretical, practical and also construction knowledge. The thesis contains the description of Fused Deposition Modeling too. The model of planetary mechanism is using as an educational tool especially for students of BUT Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the subject Kinematics.
Description of CYCLO-DRIVE gear box

This bachelor’s thesis contains a technical recherché which is deal with a principle working CYCLO-DRIVE gearboxes and its usage in practice. The work includes definitions of basic characteristic cycloidal gear, the primary parting of the cycloidal gearboxes and ways of alternative usages in comparison with common gearbox types. In the end are summarized the advantages and disadvantages of this gear.

The point of this work is to compare the evolvent and the cycloid gearing. At first, there are considered of a gear set and then others type of transmissions also – planet gear set or harmonic drive unite.
Analýza technických parametrů převodových ústrojí automobilů

This bachelor thesis explores the area of passenger car transmissions. The paper is divided into several chapters that cover, manual, two speed and semi-automatic transmissions. Sequential transmissions are also taken into consideration. Each chapter focuses on the description, functionality, advantages and disadvantages of the respecti-ve type of transmission. Some parts of the thesis contain pictures, graphs and tables for better understanding of the described topic. The paper also contains the analysis of technical parameters of two different six-speed transmissions, these are 02Q-KNS from Škoda Suberb and M32-C544 from Fiat Croma and one five-speed transmission 02J-CZM from Škoda Octavia. For all three transmissions, calculations of speed and technical assessments were carried out along with relevant engine speed ratio charts.
