Design methodology for the selection of basic components of linear machine tool axes

The aim of the thesis is based on specified parameters positioning units, which include stroke (1m, 2m, 4m), load (5kg, 50kg, 500kg), you place the position accuracy (0.04 mm) and dynamic (maximum attainable speed 1.5 m / s), proposals to build a ball screw, linear motor, a toothed belt and toothed comb. For selected variants of positioning units to design a 3D model of positioning units. The proposed variations to compare and define their advantages / disadvantages, techno-economic comparison, the limit values of individual designs, etc. The work includes a search drive in positioning units, design units with toothed belt, a toothed comb, ball screw linear actuator, a calculated message of individual proposals then 3D design options for the ball screw and linear motor including drawings and assembly drawings.
Rotary manipulator for manual welding of hoist drums for EXYZ storage machine

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to design rotary manipulator for manual welding of hoist drums for EXYZ storage machine. The rotary manipulator is designed for improving of the quality of welds, which have been made in the static bearing welding process of hoist drum. The first part is concerned on the critical research of welding manipulators, which could be founded on the market. In the next part, there are sketched possible construction designs of welding manipulator based on the market offer. The main part of the diploma thesis is own construction design, which is made on the base of suggested concept of construction design.

Construction design hydraulic press brake

This thesis is divided into several chapters. First two chapters after introduction are written as search type. In next part I devoted to detailed design of functional mechanisms of linearly moving parts of press brake. For the construction of stop mechanism I dealt with conversion types as ball screw, pinion with rack and timing belts. There is also quite thorough calculation part in ball screw and pinion with rack issue. I have also dealt with the necessary bending force and then designed hydraulic cylinders. Elaboration of machine frame with safety features is included.

The thesis includes functional, dimensional and strength calculations, control of the most stressed part using finite element method. The diploma thesis deals with construction design of stand for testing single-cylinder turbocharged engine. The first part describes principles and possibilities of measuring the performance parameters of internal combustion engines. It also analyzes the issue of measuring single-cylinder combustion engine. The main part of thesis is about construction design of stand, which describes the individual technical solutions of the general construction parts. The last chapter deals with numerical simulation, which uses modern software tools. This software helps with verification of function design.

This thesis presents design solution of SMC storage machine (Schäfer Miniload Crane) with symmetrically placed driving element towards blocks of idle pulleys. Solution of SMC storage machine with symmetrically placed driving element could reduce excessive abrasion of idle pulleys and contribute to more stable ride on the rail.

Design and control of laboratory double pendulum model

Improvement of the current double inverted pendulum model on a cart as well as a new LQG control and swing-up realization are the main goal of this thesis. Movement of the cart is driven by DC motor and gear belt mechanism. At first the control algorithms were simulated in Simulink program and then also implemented into the real system with MF624 card.
