Design and optimization of a frame for a machine tool
Weigl, František ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of the machine tool bed. In the first part of the thesis, individual machine tools and their distribution are briefly described. The following is a description of the influences that affect the static and dynamic properties of the bed, a brief overview of the materials used in the production of machine tools and a short overview of optimization methods. The second part of the work focuses on the creation of a model of the bed, which is used for mathematical optimization using FEM in the ANSYS Workbench. This serves to find the optimal input parameters of the bed, which will improve the static and dynamic properties of the bed. The optimization continues with changing the topology of the bed and using alternative materials. The result of this work is four optimized models, which are compared with the original configuration.
Design of bench drill
Štěrba, Jakub ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the work is a bench drill structural design. The first part describes drilling machine categories, compares some of drill press machines available on the market and lists main flaws of most drilling machines on the market. In the second part the basic concept is selected and the actual design of the individual components of the drill is performed. The third part contains selected strength and kinematic calculations. In the last part, the final model of the machine is presented, and the current production progress is discussed.
Passive compensation of a thermal deformation for a machine tool
Šabart, Adam ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This master thesis deals with passive compensation of a thermal deformation for a binder of portal machining center. The problem is solved by computational modeling with finite element method using ANSYS Workbench software. Afterwards mathematical optimization (also using ANSYS Workbench software) is used for finding binder parameters in order to reduce thermal deformation and its weight. The output is two new versions of binder which are compared to the original configuration.
Description of automatic tool change systems in machining centers
Jirásek, Lukáš ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor's thesis is elaborate deskription of automatic tool change systems on large machining centres on basis of extensive literature search present state of sience and techniques in the area automatic tool chase systems.
Design of milling machine spindle
Švarc, Marek ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with solving design of milling machine spindle. At first, the background research in milling machines and their spindles is processed. Here is adduced distribution of machines, basic description and examples from current manufacturers. In this part, there are described types of spindles and their basic parts. Second part of thesis is focused on technical calculations and design of the spindle based on defined parameters. An attachment includes assembly drawing, three main parts drawings and 3D model of spindle.
Chip conveyor
Horák, Miroslav ; Jonák, Martin (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the construction design of the conveyor selected on the basis of the research. The bachelor thesis describes the purpose of the chip conveyor and how it works. It is described here by which parameters the conveyor is selected, what are the types of these conveyors and the list of companies that specialize in their production. The next section describes the design of the conveyor for maximum versatility and a description of its design elements. Further, the strength calculation of the shaft and basic calculations of the other elements are made. The work is displayed in 3D visualization and is also accompanied by drawings of important detailed drawings.
Methods of Machine Tool Thermal Error Compensation
Hanzal, Jiří ; Hermanský, Dominik (referee) ; Minář, Petr (advisor)
Thermal error caused by the thermal deformation is one of the most significant factors influencing the accuracy of the machine tool. This paper presents an overview of the methods of measurement, regulation and compensation of thermal errors. It also deals with the research of research centers and their projects. At the end of the thesis we are dealing with measuring of temperature deviations on machine tools MCV 754 Quick. For the tested machine tool, a methodical proposal of temperature compensation was designed using the grey neural network model with convolution Integral. This paper aims to give a basic introduction of the whole process of the spindle thermal error compensation.
Design of a rotary table for a machine tool
Axmann, Patrik ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the construction of a rotary table for a machine tool. The first part deals with the system analysis of the problems, namely the use of drives, gear mechanisms, bearings and measuring systems in the design. Subsequently, manufacturers and the creation of variants of design solutions. The second part of the thesis is focused on calculations and design of the chosen design variant.
Design of machine tool turntable
Záviška, Petr ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals the design of turntable of machining machine. In the introductory part are presented some manufacturers of rotary tables for the selection of parameters of rotary table. Then it is made the design of turntable with indirect drive and the design of turntable with direct drive.
Technical improvements of the machine tool NAKAMURA – TOME
Novák, Tomáš ; Učeň, Oldřich (referee) ; Novotný, Lubomír (advisor)
The subject of this engineer´s thesis is a design proposal for technical upgrade of chosen CNC turning center design groups. The choice of design groups is based on user´s and author´s practical knowledge gained from machine´s workings. For each of these groups, there is a function description, actual state of design solution and problematic behaviour description. The follow up consists of given problems solving with more possible variations taken into consideration, including economic evaluation of chosen solution.
