Snoop Dog
Trenčanská, Laura ; Gajarský, Dominik (referee) ; Mazanec, Martin (advisor)
In my bachelor work Snoop Dog I study the relationship of text, moving image and material, which changes its form and meaning by intermingling the individual picture collages. The result is a site-specific installation made up of a variety of materials and technologies, which build on the form of narrative exhibition projects I realized at Citysurfer Office Prague (2017), Gallery FaVU Brno (2018), Galerie 207 Praha (2016). The starting point is the author's text and then the installation unit, where I try to work with the spatial conditions of the old FaVU building.

In an Apartment in a small town, Mikulov
Solár, Michal ; Kozelský, Tomáš (referee) ; Hora, Jan (advisor)
The concept is based on the historical development of the plot and the city as such. Historically, the area has been defined by self-help and without clearly specified dogmatic guidelines. It is thanks to this that the city is enriched with moments that do not fulfill only the aesthetic or spiritual, but also the functional nature of the city. The moment of surprise and certain visas enriches the interior of the yard as well as the city. At first glance, such annoying spaces have a certain quality, caused by the play of light or the overall concept of space. An important feature of the object is the moment of surprise from the perceived space. The transition from a clearly defined ground floor to the rear, at first glance, irrational courtyard is enhanced by a passage, which also refers to the typical division of the small town house. ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION The principle of layering of individual spaces clearly reflects the moments of surprise. By specific fragmentation of the building, a character that resembles rather a family house as a residential object, spaces of different quality and utilization are created. The lower dwellings have a spatially and optically separated garden from the total mass, with the top terrace being terraces which are optically linked to the courtyard, but are not accessible to the public. The apartments in the attic have mostly urban character. This creates the principle of co-existence, which is typical of the whole area of the city. The layering is evident in the distribution of flats with different connections to gardens and terraces as well as the variety of housing units. The spirit of the place is a standing cellar that reflects the historical transformation of the parcel and is a symbol of the locality.
Diploma work
Němec, Jakub ; Magid, Václav (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
The aim of my work is to reflect expression coincidence that reflects the theoretical basis of cellular automata and quantum mechanics. I think that art should point to examples of accurate knowledge and in this way spread among potential viewers. This is how I try to get closer to the subjective utopian society WERP-VEGA. I am not entirely convinced that fine arts can change the political situation or address fundamental civilization complications, but I believe that art is able to predict freely one of the possible scenarios of the future because one is only able to do what he can imagine.
Millenial#SURVIVAL#BlackMagic
Pintérová, Renáta ; Mazanec, Martin (referee) ; Zálešák, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my work is to investigate the conditions of contemporary art and self-colonising tendencies in the production, perception and circulation of art between the online and offline space as well as the theoretical, contextual and political background of this process. The self-promotional character of mediating my own artwork over the internet is given by the widely used technology options, the preset architecture of web content for distribution of visual content, as well as the dominant aesthetic canon of documentary artwork and exhibitions dictated by influential visual blogs from the Contemporary Art Daily to the Ofluxo , Tzvetnik or others. I recognize the artistic practice in this context as an aesthetic loop and the accelerative impotence of a digital image given by the political conditions of information technology. The practical output of the work will consist of two textile objects.Design of objects and the DIY part of it will be created by me, but the objects stiching will be realized by Slovak designer / model Michal Šumichrast, who creates his own branding under the name SUMICRAFT. I think that the aesthetics and the process of producing his work and life itself corresponds to the social policy of the new global class of cultural producers. His artistic practice is contextually similar to my practice and to the social / political economic issues of the current precariat class that I examine in my theoretical and practical work. As a final result of the research the objects will be documented in "high resolution" and sent back to the Internet. Either in the form of an Instagram post, or as a self-colonising process within some of the "most up-to-date" online platforms for contemporary art.
Design of a 3D scanner for educational purposes
Paprsek, Adam ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the submitted semestral project is research of 3D scanning object methods. The 3D scans utilization and types of these scans have been mentioned in the first chapter. The scanners are grouped into two basic methods – contact and contactless. The second chapter is dedicated to 3D model measurement principles, which are described in detail in four sub-chapters. In the following chapter is described design with complete realization 3D scanner with the implementation of the application for its controlling. Last part of the thesis concerns the 3D model editing and method evaluating.
Gesture. Significance of an object in grey zone of public space
Sedlák, Michal ; Hůla, Zdenek (advisor) ; Hazuková, Helena (referee) ; Hlaváček, Ludvík (referee)
The dissertation thesis deals with the relation of a person towards the physical public space from the point of view of an artist/teacher in the academic milieu. The frequently discussed subject of public space is not limited to purely artistic sphere or artistic gesture. It also implies a simple transgression to everyday life related to education and cultivation. An essential part of the research is the case study at the Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Education of the Charles University, which inquires into the perception of the future pedagogues of the physical public space and how they gtranslate it into the art language. The cornerstone stimulus for the research lies in the premise that future teachers will, through the prism of their view of the worl and by their vocation influence the education of the young generation. This fact of transgression is given by the existence of the subject of Art Education where the 3D design itself plays a certain role. The research is focused on what lies behind the phenomena in the process of the creation and inception of "something new" in the physical public space. The concept of a gesture represents a metaphor of material introduction into a space that, at some point, becomes a part o it .The integration is called actualization and the issue of the...
