Body Language in Sculpture Creation

This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between non-verbal communication (body language) and sculptural creation. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with body language in interpersonal communication and its application in the context of sculptural creation. In relation to that it also states the possibilities of sculpture expression, aspects and process of the sculptural creation, which together with nonverbal channels are subsequently discussed in the context of the analysis of sculptural creation by authors from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The practical part consists of a series of sketches, studies and figural compositional variants that apply the findings arising from the theoretical concept into practice.

Importance of Non-verbal Communication in the Company

This thesis is dedicated to the importance of non-verbal communication in the company. Non-verbal communication is used constantly and usually unconsciously. This type of communication is affected by these factors: culture, age, gender and character. The work focuses on all fields of non-verbal communication and analyzes what is essential for a job interview, meeting or meeting with client. This work determines the type of corporate culture and finds out what impression the company employees give to the clients. Mistakes which employees make during the communication in the company are mentioned. The main aim of this thesis is to assess how the manager use their communication skills and describe the communication process between empolyeeses. The research is carried out by means of a questionnaire, observation and interview with the personnel manager.
The Importance of Social Communication Abilities in Relation to the Quality of Economic Education

The thesis deals with social communication in economic education with special focus on actual level of students' communication abilities within selected institutions. The special attention is paid to the aspects and the competencies that are crucial to be developed. The work is divided into two parts and two related research problems. The base of the thesis lies in the application of rhetorical and social communication aspects into economic subjects in which the influence of these aspects on the quality of presentation is researched with the help of experimental method and observation. The presentation is focused on economic topic that is presented by students to their colleagues. The evaluation is focused on final quality of presentation (evaluated with the help of selected aspects). Next key part of the thesis is aimed on the development of students' ability to give the arguments in economic subject with the help of active teaching methods. The influence of active teaching methods on students' knowledge is assessed. The students are divided into two groups; the first one is taught with the help of active teaching methods, the second one via classic frontal teaching method. The knowledge of the topic is evaluated by didactic test. The fundamental meaning of active teaching methods with focus on argumentation is highlighted because of its crucial importance for future students' acting in the labour market. The importance of differences between pretest and posttest is evaluated via Paired Two Sample t-test; the importance of differences between experimental and control group via Student's t-test. The main methods used in the work are experiment, observation, scaling, survey, didactic test and statistic interpretations such a Shapiro-Wilk test, F-test, Paired Two Sample t-test, Student's t-test. On the basis of the results there will be suggested integration of rhetorical and communication aspects and of the selected active teaching methods into teaching of economic subjects. The purpose of the work is to show the importance of communication aspects integration into teaching of economic subjects and to suggest the possibilities how to develop the communication aspects.
The role and influence of non-verbal communication in personal selling

This bachelor's thesis examines the impact of the oldest part of our communication in the field of personal selling. In the beginning of the theoretical section we aim to define the concept and importance of non-verbal communication, and its parts, according to the channel of communication with the conclusion relating to the specific recommendations for salesmen. The personal selling process will be described in the second part of the theoretical section. Additionally, a theoretical clarification of the impact of nonverbal communication in the process of personal sales will be provided. The purpose of the theoretical sections is to serve as a basis for the practical section, which will help explain the final conclusion. The practical section examines, on the basis of questionnaire survey, respondent's reactions to non-verbal signals of sales men from audio-visual recording and provides the answer to the fundamental question of our work: "does non-verbal communication have an impact in the area of personal selling?"
Communication with the patient / alien in the nursing process

The issue of multicultural nursing is still new, in the Czech republic, with the increasing number of foreigners. Communication is a fundamental process, which can be characterized as exchanging of information and ideas among people. It can be on both on verbal and nonverbal levels. It is based on interpersonal interactions, involving the transfer of information from person to another. The nurse serves as a liaison between the doctors and the patient. They must understand medical instructions and patient needs and concerns. Their communication skills are important because it serves as a channel of information exchange therebycreating an environment of trust. For nurses and for patients/ alien communication is an essential tool for submitting and obtaining information and the lack of communication can lead to errors and misunderstanding in patient care. The results of this research work show knowledge of Czech nurses in multicultural nursing. Knowledge of multicultural nursing care is at a low level and there is need for it to be improved. I can state that the objectives set at the beginning of this thesis have been achieved.

Effective non-verbal communication, communication through body language, is one of the fundamental prerequisites for successful manager's performance. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the importance of nonverbal communication in human resource management and, on the example of management style and nonverbal communication of two the most successful managers in the world of information and communication technologies, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, to formulate basic recommendations for effective nonverbal communication of current and future managers. The bachelor thesis is worked out with the help of using specialized literature and internet resources, particularly video recordings of public performances of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are available on youtube.com.
Teacher's communication skills

This diploma thesis concerns the area of self-presentation of a teacher and effective use of his communication skills. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and presents basic concepts of social communication and defines communication skills essential for effective teaching. The practical part is partly based on the output of a questionnaire survey where the author probes knowledge of communication skills of students of pedagogical faculty and how they evaluate their readiness for the profession of a teacher. Then the author provides a summary of the main rules of communication, necessary skills and practical recommendations. Summary of the main rules of communication, necessary skills and practical advice is also a guide that should help prevent problems with self-presentation and to mitigate or eliminate deficiencies in this area.
