Šebela, Vojtěch ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is based on project that has been processed within the subject AG035 Architectural design of the 6th semestr of Bachelor’s degree. The proposed building is a production facility of an industrial bakery for a Herold company that wants to get production closer to the city of Brno. The land was selected in the area of Horní Heršpice in the place of unused brownfield industrial area. The surrounding area is partly an industrial zone, continuosly connected to a residental area. „K terminálu“ access road is at the same time an importnant conection for a nearby transhipment. The proposed object is divided into two main parts. Dominant and simpler is the production hall, whose sisposition ensures the smooth production process. The smaller and more structured administraion building connects to it workers' background. The endeavor was to rexpect boundaries of the plot in whose directions the complex reacts with its morphology. This should bring into order otherwise chaotic buildings and fully complement it. Between the production hall and office part is the half closed atrium, forming the rest zone where the offices and rest room are oriented. Around the complex is logistic comuniction and staff parking. The loadbearing structure is on the principle of steel frame system supplemented by longitudinal bracing. It will be covered by warm flat roof on the trapezoidal sheet. Most of their elements will be admitted in the interior and its modulation will be reflected in the exterior. The cladding will be done in Kingspan panels in white on an administrative object and dark gray on a production hall. In order to soften the form of the office part, most of the surface is made from window glassblocks. This should improve the human scale appearance on the contrary the superhuman scale of the production hall. Interior will be illuminated well and airy, for a positive influence on workers. On the corner there will be a staircase to a walkable roof.
Roman spa and sauna world
Adamcová, Lenka ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
This Master's thesis takes a look at the construction of the new Roman baths and sauna world with adjacent premises, all connected to the premises in the section TG02, such as the water park, restaurant, administration and rehabilitation. The plot of land intended for the implementation is situated in an undeveloped area in the urban district of Zidenice on the outskirts of the city of Brno. The entire complex of buildings forms a wave landscape with a cube as the centrepiece symbolizing water in a quarry and the reaction to the neighbouring Růženin quarry. The buildings also react to significant visual axes, one of which is the view from the Hady quarry, another of the Hady access roads. Emphasis is also placed on the views from the Roman baths, simultaneously preserving the privacy of visitors. Entrance to the two-storey Roman baths and sauna world is possible from the communal changing rooms in the water park, but also separately. The Sauna world located on the first floor is lit by an atrium that connects it with the Roman baths on the second floor. There are eight dry saunas from different corners of the world, various cold-zones, three massage rooms and three relaxation rooms. A relaxing swimming pool and a fountain in the seating area of the saunabar are significant elements of the central space. Located inside the Roman baths are nine heating rooms all of different temperatures and moisture levels, a large cooling room, and a small swimming pool with an adjacent jacuzzi in the central area, both with beautiful views. From this section, you can walk out onto the adjacent terrain, where there is a large outdoor swimming pool and sauna. There is a polarium, a private spa, a small spa shop, massages and special baths each with their own entrance. On the third floor there is accommodation, a conference room and a fitness centre.

Valach, Lukáš ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Kalousek, Lubor (advisor)
The theme of the bachelor thesis is the proposal of the Café club Bikros Favorit at Hněvkovského street in the Brno-Komárov district. The aim of this work is to create an architectural and urbanistic concept whose function will be of great benefit to the users of the area and the racetrack and to the general public. It is a three-story building with flat roofs. The terrace, which allows access to the starting hill, is covered and walked all over the area. Access to this terrace is also possible outside the ramp, which borders a starting hill from one side. It is created by leaning against the northern wall in a certain part of the building. The building then becomes a part of the racetrack. The whole structure is designed from simple shapes in the form of a block. The flat terrain did not complicate the laying of the building on the land. On the south - west corner there is a café for perfect view and connection to the cycle path. The proposed pre-space responds to the local road and cycle path along the Svratka river. Entrance 1st ground floor can be divided into two parts. The larger are the club spaces, accessible from the east side. From the long central corridor, we have access to bicycle storage, bicycle service, cleaning rooms, women's and girl's cloakroom and sanitary facilities, and four identical dressing rooms and hygiene for men and boys. At the end of the corridor we find stairs. The second part includes a café - coffee & snack bar, accessible from the south. The main area is adjacent to the toilet for visitors (men, women, immobile), a cleaning room and a smaller warehouse. There is also an area of staff and supply - cloakroom and hygiene, garbage storage, food and beverage storage and preparation that is connected to the bar. Individually accessible from the outside are the infirmary and the technical room. 2nd floor offers a club for leisure or social events and meetings. There are also a small kitchen and the coach’s office.
Kindergarten in Brno
Gladiš, Filip ; Sátora,, Josef (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a kindergarten at Údolní street, near the public park Obilní trh in Brno-centre. The aim of this project is to create a new architectural and urban concept, that will benefit the surrounding areas. The building itself has one floor and a green roof which is accessible from the terrain. The entering space reacts to a path connecting the public park with the Špilberk castle. The kindergarten has its own garden for outdoor activities of its children. In the close neighbourhood, you can find an educational institution The Open Garden, The Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation. The concept tries to take the preschool education from an environmental point of view and aims to connect the children with nature and natural materials. For those reasons, a special window type was designed, one that children can play in. They are pulled from the form and therefore create an expression of the whole building. Along with a wooden facade, the building looks playfully and light. The wooden planks rise up a meter above the roof creating a railing of the green roof. The building is designed as a public educational institution for preschool children. There are two separate departments with the capacity of 48 children. The sleeping takes place in the playrooms, there is also a dinning room, locker room, office, kitchen for preparing the meals, and the necessary facilities. The shape of the building creates a barrier between the public space and the private garden of the kindergarten.
Kindergarten Brno
Bánovský, Pavel ; Teplý, Vladimír (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis was the design of kindergarten in the district of Brno-City. The proposal addressed the two departments of kindergarten and related function of the clubhouse on the second floor. The parcel is located in a gap directly opposing the Obilni trh, which emerged from bombing of Brno in WW2. Since it is a large gap, it would be impossible to follow the street line and fill the street fully enough to get back its expression, the kindergarten building. Therefore, the proposal is pushed deeper into the gap, where it will be partly protected from noise and at the same time will allow departments to be better interconnected with greenery or with the neighboring Partnership Foundation and their open garden. At the same time, it is considered at the level of the street line with the development area, which, subject to certain conditions, can suitably complement the order of the street, thus returning its expression to the Obilni trh.

Multifunctional building near little chapel - Židenice
Klimeš, Jakub ; Elešová, Klára (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a mixed-use building at a crossing of two streets, Táborská and Nezamyslova, in the district of Židenice, Brno. The aim of the work is to come up with a new architectural and urbanistic concept, which will also enhance the vicinity of the building. The house itself has four storeys. The ground floor is reserved for commerce, such as shops, and a future expansion with a small cafeteria is planned. The following three floors are residential. Part of the second floor serves as a roof terrace for the inhabitants of the building. The structure terminates with a flat green roof. There are two underground parking storeys, with places reserved not only for the inhabitants of the building, but also of the surrounding area, which improves rentability. The concept tries to unify the corner of the two streets and reacts to the surrounding structures. The last house on Táborská street is a three-storey house, while the one on Nezamyslova is a two-storey one. For those reasons, the floor plan of the building has the shape of an “L”, and there is an indent in the eastern part, which corresponds with the house on Nezamyslova street. This indent forms the aforementioned roof terrace. The concept also incorporates the public space in front of the house, which is dominated by a chapel. This area shields the building from the noisy streets. A large amount of greenery, especially birches, is proposed in this space, to improve the greenery coefficient of the plot. The façade consists of hung anodized aluminium panels, which are anchored into the walls of the structure. The object is located in a very busy area, which makes it obvious to use the ground floor for rentable commercial spaces. The apartments themselves are placed into the following three floors. The aim is to reduce the noise from the street as much as possible, and thus the sleeping and living rooms are all oriented into the private courtyard. There is a total of 14 apartm
