Tomková, K. Unfair practices of multilevel marketing. Bachelor‘s thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the multilevel marketing system and the fraud that can occur here. The aim of this thesis is to formulate recommendations on how to prevent these unfair practices when using the MLM system, based on specificic objectives. The thesis consists of two parts, a literary research and an analytical part. The literature review defines the concept of multilevel marketing, structure and companies that use the MLM system in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the legal regulations that affect the MLM system from a legal point of view are mentioned here. The analytical part is devoted to the analysis of experiences and cases of opinion groups with the help of classification trees. In the discussion, the data obtained from analysis are eva-luated and recommendations are made on how to avoid unfair practices and how to copy with them. The economic consequences of using unfair practices in the MLM system are also evaluated here.
Attitudes of people towards Network marketing

This thesis deals with the public's attitude towards network marketing and determining its future direction. First, the literature was studied, which explains the concept of network marketing and concepts related to it, how it works, advantages and disadvantages. In addition, interesting statistical data are mentioned. The practical part presents the results of electronic survey, which found out the attitude of the public, as well as an interview with a representative of the selected company Amway. After evaluating the information and determining the possible future direction, the information was applied to a selected Amway company, for which possible proposals were made to consider what the company and its representatives may focus more on in the future.
Expansion of network marketing company to foreign market

DIAMONDS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION -- D.I.C. a.s. is Czech company using network marketing model to sell its own diamond jewelry as well as loose diamonds. The purpose of this thesis was to analyze Russian market especially political, economic, social and cultural and other characteristics with regard to expansion of D.I.C. to Russia. Furthermore, the purpose was to evaluate Russian diamonds market potential and perform competition analysis. For purpose of the thesis PEST analysis, microenvironment analysis and SWOT analysis were conducted. Based on results of the analyses, practical advices for D.I.C. were presented.
Network marketing opportunities on the market of cosmetics

The main goal of the Bachelor Thesis is analysis of direct selling and network marketing on the Czech market with cosmetics. The work analyses four chosen companies which operate on the Czech market. The conditions which companies offer to their representatives were examined as well as their range of products, cooperation possibilities and commission reward systems. Secondary data about progression and condition of the network marketing on the Czech and world market were used. This work has its own quantitative research which was done to check knowledge about products offered by four chosen companies as well as satisfaction with products. Prices of cosmetics were compared as well. Comparison of chosen companies was made based on information above followed by last part dedicated to conclusion of acquired knowledge. The best companies for new distributors were chosen and recommendations for companies about development of their distribution networks were made. Work is focused on direct selling and network marketing in general and describes principles of network marketing and its advantages and disadvantages. Foundation and history of network marketing is described as well as Czech law treatment of illegal systems. Part of the work is also dedicated to ethic of direct selling.
Multilevel marketing

The Bachelor Thesis examines Multilevel marketing (abbreviated as 'MLM') as a business sector. The first aim of this study is to analyse the system of MLM within the company Oriflame and to measure to what extent the success of MLM is dependent on the duration of the seller's involvement in MLM and on the type of individual's character. Additionally, the thesis investigates whether it is possible to attain financial independence within Oriflame. The second goal is to find out what is the public opinion of the MLM system. To gather reliable information, a questionnaire was created and distributed. The theoretical part of this Thesis refers to MLM as a part of direct selling, analyzes its history and current trends. There are also non-ethical and prohibited systems. The Thesis is focused on motivation and tools of success. The practical part presents the analysis of MLM system in the company Oriflame and research of public opinion about MLM. At the end of this Bachelor Thesis whole issues and results of the public opinion of MLM system are summarized.
Network marketing as an opportunity

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to explain the concept of network marketing and its usage in the current business. The first part is focused od determination of the theoretical base of the issue, developement of the branch of network marketing and its illegal forms. Second part analyses the usage of network marketing in the current business and at the same time represents the biggest companies of direct sale in the world. The practical part is an aplication of the theoretical base to the FM GROUP company and there is also space devoted to suggestions to improve the opperations and the product distribution of the company.

The goal of the thesis is to explain how does direct selling work, to focus on its future potential and to evaluate the oppurtunity offered to the distributors. The first chapter focuses on the history of direct selling. The second chapter discusses the ethics of direct selling and Czech Direct Selling Association, which oversees keeping to the ethic code. The third chapter compares the network marketing used in direct selling and illegal pyramid schemes. The fourth chapter describes the business opportunity offered by the company Amway Czech Republic.
Analyze to use of network marketing in a company

In my work I appreciated and considered the particular advantages compared to classical network marketing business. In the theoretical part, I mainly focused on the definition of network marketing, network marketing history, abuse of the principle of NWM, advantages and disadvantages of network marketing, illegal system and calculation of remuneration in network marketing. The analysis was first carried out the characteristics of the selected company, followed by analysis of network marketing in particular, core company products. The analysis network marketing was done evaluation work and subsequently recommended changes.
Comparison of Final Consumer s Contributions of The Purchase Network Marketing and Consumer Cooperative

Issue of my Master{\crq}s work inclusive of questions consumers{\crq} cooperative and network marketing. This is very interesting and actual section, because both of these levels have been hiding large potential. They can bring out compelling alternative solution in contact with final consumer. The Work is focused on general analysis of the setting of network marketing and the setting of consumers{\crq} cooperative in the Czech republic. This analysis is completed with comparison of two concrete subjects and assets for final consumers. One of the components is also question form. This question form is based on questioning of two hundreds respondents. Main aims were to find out consumers view of network marketing and consumers{\crq} cooperative, how consumers trust these systems and how often they use it for shopping. Conclusion what I got from research is that consumers{\crq} cooperative is more popular, than network marketing. Due to wrong name of network marketing. That is also why the final consumer use consumers{\crq} cooperative more often for shopping, than network marketing. Main potential of consumers{\crq} cooperative and network marketing is based on the fact, that they can get final consumers to integrate chain. In that case, the consumer is supposed to participate in the co-creation of products and services.

The objective of this thesis is to clarify network marketing and how it works and to describe its advantages, disadvantages and opportunity which it offers to producer, distributor and consumer. The first chapter gives a definition of network marketing, explains how it works and refers to its history. In the second chapter the network marketing is compared to common distribution chain from producer's as well as consumer's point of view. Opportunities which network marketing offers to a distributor are described in the third chapter, which also points out the difference between network marketing and pyramid schemes. The last chapter representing practical part gives closer look at use of network marketing in Amway Company.
