Negative impacts of renewable resources on environment

Current society understands the need to protect the environment. Renewable energy resources are one of the major topics of environmental protection. Their benefits are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. The production process, operation, recycling, and possible accidents of renewable energy resources are investigated in each chapter. Attention was paid mainly to the most used renewable sources. Finally, the negative impacts are evaluated, and it is defined which renewable energy resources could be classified as ecological.

The main focus of this work was to delve deeper into the issue of renewable energy. Firstly, we have looked at the different types in general and their characteristics, but in particular we have focused on the negative impacts they bring. Since renewable energy sources are our future, it is necessary to become familiar with their potential, possible shortcomings, the degree of severity of these problems and possible solutions. In the last part of the thesis, we looked at the use of renewables in the Czech Republic and evaluated the current policy and energy market.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Monitoring the Negative Perceived Impacts of Air Transport looks at the currently available options for assessing the negative effects of air travel on the quality of life of residents living near The Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague. The bachelor's thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the research section, in which air travel is characterised and in which the negative impacts it entails are subsequently mentioned. The information on the research part was largely drawn from specialist literature and from the official pages of the relevant institutions. The second main part is analytical, where the basic information and history of The Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague are presented and the negative impacts that air transport brings on the nearby area of the airport are subsequently discussed in more detail. The final chapter of the analysis section contains an analysis of the strategic documents of the municipalities concerned. At the end of the work, the summary results suggest recommendations leading to the greatest possible reduction of negative impacts on nearby areas.
Effect of risk factors associated with family system on the development of substance use disorders in offspring - case study

Introduction: The diploma thesis deals with the dangerous aspects of development of narcotics on descendants in a family system. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes basics of the family system and its disorders. It includes parents' roles and the risk of the family enviromnent and its influence on the upbringing of a child. The thesis also deals with family factors that ilnfluence family environment. The end of the theoretical part describes types of dangerous and protective factors that influence the formation of descendant's addiction.The practical part is based on qualitative research. The research is made on five case studies. The respondents undergo an institutional treatment based on addictional disorder. Aim: The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the summary of family dangerous and protective factors that may predict presence of alcohol abuse in children and teenagers. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were used to obtain the data, which were then analyzed by the method of creating clusters. Results: This diploma thesis shows that in nearly all the case studies in this research , dangerous and protective factors described in the theoretical part appeared. Impacts of air traffic at the airport of Vaclav Havel to the surrounding municipalities

This bachelor thesis focuses on impacts of Vaclav Havel Airport on the surrounding municipalities. It is a very up-to-date topic, because air transport is used by more and more people. That increases the burden on the areas adjacent to the airport. The theoretical part of this thesis starts with short introduction of NIMBY, it provides the most important informations about Vaclav Havel Airport and summarizes negative impacts on the surroundings. It also gives informations about future expansion of the airport in form of parallel runway and public attitude to this planned construction. Subsequently the cooperation of the airport with the surrounding municipalities and parts of Prague is described. The practical part was processed on the basis of data from the questionaire survey. The aim was to get opinions from residents around the airport, what they consider as advantages and disadvantages of living in this area, whether they are informed about the airport cooperation with the place where they live and finally their attitude to the airport expansion with the new runway. Sustainable development of tourism in Dolní Morava destination

Topic: Sustainable development of tourism in the Dolní Morava destination Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to warn about the negative impacts of tourism, based on an evaluation of the destination's present state of development. The conclusions of the thesis could contribute to the destination's future sustainable development. Methods: In the research part of this work, which has an empirical character, methods of data collection and methods of data analysis and interpretation were used. Two methods and specific techniques for collecting of primary data were used: qualitative questioning (semi- structured interview) and quantitative questioning (questionnaire). The method of content analysis was used for secondary data collection of and, together with statistical analysis, as a method of data analysis and interpretation. Results: Over the course of the last 15 years, Dolní Morava has become a dynamically developing popular tourist destination, renowned in the entire country, thanks mainly to its outstanding natural conditions, modern sports infrastructure including two skiing areas, and development of tourist activities. Support options for families with a person sentenced to imprisonment in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals primarily with the possibilities of support that can be used by families in the capital city of Prague who have a close person imprisoned. It outlines the conditions of custody and im- prisonment in the Czech Republic and introduces negative effects which families who have a close person imprisoned may face. Subse- quently, the bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of supporting these families in the Czech environment in terms of social policy and social services, psychotherapy and self-help groups. The practical part maps the provided social services in the capital city of Prague, focusing on the usability of families with a sentenced person in prison and the possibilities of the Association of Civic Counseling Centers. Furthermore, the thesis introduces selected non-governmental organizations with a target group of clients' families with a sentenced person in prison and informs about the contributory organization of the capital city of Prague, Center of Social Services Prague and its de- tached workplace Re-socialization and Reintegration Programs.
