The Political Consequences of Early 21st Century Changes in the Global Balance of Power: Scenarios for the Future

This thesis had the purpose to study the current international system. After presenting its features in theories, the aim was to understand how it is constructed through an analytical approach. In this thesis, it is supposed that the international system, and in particular its polarity, is currently facing some changes due to several reasons which are exposed. It will be identified the different actors of the international system which are susceptible to upset the polarity of this system. Nation-states, IGOs and MNCs will thus be described and presented, and their strength into the completion of such achievement will be identified. To conclude, the thesis will end with a last chapter dedicated to the construction of future scenario which will aim at forecasting the potential international system in which one will be evolving in the coming future.
Organizational architecture of multinational companies

The main goal of the bachelor thesis Organizational Architecture of Multinational Companies is to elaborate the overview of organizational structures that are used by modern global companies. The thesis contains an analysis of such companies development, principles of functioning, pros and cons and the opportunities which these brings. It also contains a description of the basic concepts associated with organizational architecture such as globalization, multinational companies and organizational architecture. In the last part of my thesis I have focused on the organizational architectures characteristics of multinational company Škoda Auto. I have also paid my attention to the corporate governance system and the principles that govern this company. The conclusion of the thesis includes the generalization of the acquired knowledge and the evaluation of the organizational architecture of Škoda Auto.
Transnational Actor and the Nation State. The Case of American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the role of the transnational actor at the national level in particular case of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic. The study is divided into two main parts. The first, theoretical part focuses on three theoretical strands. The first chapter focuses on the development of theoretical perceptions of non-state actors in international relations since the 1970s. The goal of the first chapter is to examine concept of interdependence, global governance, the new transnationalism and transnational private governance. The second chapter focuses on multinational corporations. The analysis emphasizes the dynamics of research and development of transnational corporations and their relationship with the nation state. The goal of the third theoretical chapter is to explore the process of interest representation within the nation state. Attention is drawn to obstacles and conditions that transnational actor needs to overcome in order to successfully penetrate the process of interest representation and pursue its goals within the state. The second part of the thesis investigates activities of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic that were carried out in an effort to amend the Public Procurement Act from 2010 to 2012. The Expansion of Multinational Company to the Foreign Markets

The aim of this work is practical recommendations for effective integration of multinational companies to the Russian market, coming out of the theoretical basis studies. To meet the goals of this work the methods of data clustering, classification and identification of priority processes and events, method of comparable analysis and implementation of abroad expansion experience of the companies were used. As the main method of the country specifics analysis was chosen PESTLE-analysis. Conclusions and recommendations can be used to select the appropriate entrance form of the multinational company to the foreign market or expanding its international activities and gaining a foothold on the Russian market.
World distribution chain, and their influence in shaping the retailing in the region

The aim of this thesis is about issue of detail chain in South Bohemia. It examines their history, development, contemporary situation and next their influence on retail trade in region. Here we find some interesting observation of sector of retail trade sale in South Bohemia. The essay show how it is difficult to be retail businessman and keep own part on local trade. In practical part this fact proves marketing research which was dedicated to this problem.

The Bachelor's Thesis ,,Organizational architecture of multinational company" sets the target to analyse organizational structures used in multinational companies at present. In the teoretical section is briefly described development of this subject, basic concepts associated with organizational architecture such as globalization, multinational companies and organizational architecture. I also generalized main characteristics of organizational forms and describe their pros and cons. The practic part is focused on organizational architecture multinational company Erste Group, hence the Czech Savings Bank. My attention was also devoted to the management company because of refinements and explore the effect on the top management of the company. The aim of this work is a comparative analysis of the organizational structure Erste Group and the Czech Savings Bank. I evaluate how I succeeded in this analysis in conclusion.
Position of U.S. multinational companies in the world economy

This thesis deals with U.S. multinational companies and their current position in the global economy. The first part describes characteristics and general functioning of multinational companies, their origin, development and their influence in the world economy. The second part introduces the largest U.S. financial and non-financial companies and classifies them according to their industrial specialization. The subject of the third part is an analysis of the status of U.S. multinationals. Using the available statistical data and information, companies are evaluated by several criteria. I focused on their number, total sales, value added, number of employees, investment activities and transnationality index. Furthermore, I considered their potential competitors. Relying on the results of the analysis, I concluded if the U.S. multinationals are still the leading players in the global economy.
