Game Server Administration Client
Cigán, Tomáš ; Michal, Bohumil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the description of game servers of the most common computer games. The details and differences between particular game servers as well as administration control are included. Also structure of plugins and plugin installation procedures for such servers is described in details. The main target of the thesis according to the previous research is to analyze and develop uniform system for controlling the game server and its plugins throw web application. At the end of the thesis there is detailed description of creating a new game server implementation support.
Laboratory exercises for ultrasound medical imaging
Jordánek, Tomáš ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is about ultrasound imaging systems. In the beginning, there are described ultrasonic waves and principles of physics. Next part is about clinical use of ultrasound system. There are described modes of imaging and probes used in practise. Doppler systems are also mentioned. Next part is about evaluation of image. In practical part of my thesis I am evaluating quality of image produced by GE Vingmed Ultrasound System Five REM. From this part had been created a laboratory exercise about basics of working with ultrasound systems. Next semester, I worked with ultrasound produced by 3B Scientific. There were made several laboratory exercises for this ultrasound and they were tested. For scanning in B-mode was made simple construction. Last part was about creating own phantom.
Boolean methods in knowledge compilation
Kaleyski, Nikolay Stoyanov ; Čepek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Gregor, Petr (referee)
The open problem in knowledge compilation of whether the language PI is at least as succinct as MODS is answered in the negative. For this purpose a class of Boolean functions with a number of prime implicants that is superpolynomial in their number of false points is constructed. A lower bound (proving that PI is not at least as succinct as MODS), an upper bound (proving that the counterexample cannot yield an exponential separation of PI and MODS) and the precise number of the prime implicants of these functions is computed. Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with MODS and Covid-19 in Case History
Jílková, Lucie ; Opatrná Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Charvát, Robert (referee)
Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of patient with MODS and Covid-19 in case history Abstract This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of acute and postacute physiotherapeutic care in patients hospitalized in the ICU. The primary aim of the thesis was to conduct the specific case study and provide theoretical basis for diagnoses and physiotherapeutic interventions related to the given case study. Secondary objective was to briefly summarise the current available knowledge about Covid-19, post-Covid syndrome and highlight the importance of this issue in physiotherapeutic practice. This report is divided into three main parts. The first two chapters are theoretical. They focus on detailed descriptions of selected diagnoses and possible therapeutic interventions. These include systemic inflammatory response syndrome, sepsis, septic shock, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, acute respiratory distress syndrome and post-Covid syndrome. Within the physiotherapeutic approaches, selected methods of pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy and current recommended rehabilitation procedures for patients with post-Covid syndrome are presented. The third part is practical and contains a specific case study of a patient with a history of multiorgan failure and Covid-19 disease. The case study...

Origins of the Mod's Culture in the United Kingdom
Rajzlová, Eva ; Kovář, Martin (advisor) ; Soukup, Jaromír (referee)
This bachelor's thesis dealt with origins of Mod's subculture in the United Kingdom. It pursued the main features of the subculture, life style of its members and their values. The thesis sought to put Mods to historical context and find their significance for British society. Mods are a denomination of a group of youths sharing the same interest in clothing and clubbing. They originated in London suburbs in the late 50s of the 20th century. Members were predominantly men of working-class origin. Media noticed them in 1964 because of their participation in riots in coastal resorts. It is the first authentic British subculture which was recognized internationally.
Digitalization, metadata description and metadata formats
Hutař, Jan ; Kalkus, Stanislav (advisor) ; Bratková, Eva (referee) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee)
(EN) This thesis is dedicated to the processes of digitization and metadata description, as well as the links that connect them. In recent years, another topic has been becoming relevant for both mentioned processes - the logical long-term preservation of digital objects. Long-term preservation is dependent on metadata and therefore on the processes of digitization, when some important metadata is created. The first introductory chapter of the thesis briefly describes, with an emphasis on metadata, digitization and theoretical and practical problems of long-term preservation of digital objects. The OAIS reference framework is also analysed, since it is the background for digital preservation and present preservation metadata standards. OAIS is also important for the shape and functionality of digital repositories. Metadata is also the topic of the next chapter of the thesis. General metadata use and its development are discussed, with emphasis on administrative, technical and preservation metadata. The following chapter focuses on the use of metadata in the National Library of the Czech Republic. It describes the evolution during two periods leading up to the present. This section includes comments on how long-term preservation has been reflected in used metadata standards. The second-to-last part...
