Influence of digitization and robotization on the management of companies in gastronomy

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the impact of digitalization and robotization on the management of companies in the gastronomy industry. It focuses on explaining the different types of digitalization and robotization that are used in the gastronomy industry and thus bringing people closer to the technologies that businesses use. Employees can use machines in production to improve and speed up their work, but also not forgetting customers, who can take advantage of the technical aids that businesses offer, such as QR codes in restaurants or self-service boards. However, digitisation is not only about production and order taking, but also about the delivery method, where customers can use apps to have their food delivered to their door. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis describes how digitalization has been able to increase sales for the selected businesses and how people use the modern features they have access to.
Design of urban area using advanced technologies

Construction and manufacturing of chassis of radio-controlled car model using modern technology

The aim of the work is to show a principle of simple parts production through advanced additive technologies. Design of the parts is realised by CAD software SolidWorks. Manufacture of the parts was subsequently carried out by using Rapid Prototyping technology with using an additive method of Fused Deposition Modelling. The work also includes a comprehensive overview of the currently most popular production methods in Rapid Prototyping technology.
Usage of modern technologies to design beer glass for brewery Starobrno, a.s.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of the additive technology Rapid Prototyping for the design and the production of the beer glass model. The part of this work is to create the real 3D model of the beer glass with the parametric program SolidWorks with the subsequent description of available Rapid Prototyping technologies. Production of the beer glass will be implemented on the 3D printer uPrint with using the Fused Deposition Modeling method and compared with other available methods.
Modernity and holocaust

Currently, there are several museums dealing with the Holocaust in our country, but none of them provides comprehensive documentation of the Holocaust. The proposal therefore seeks to create a museum that will be able to report on the Holocaust in a broader context and at the same time will be an attractive environment, especially for visitors living in the multimedia world of the 21st century.

Modern technology in prehospital emergency care

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of modern technologies in prehospital emergency care. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on individual technologies, which are, according to available sources, considered modern. The set goal, which the bachelor thesis should fulfil, is to find out about applicability of modern technologies in prehospital emergency care. Two research questions were also established: which modern technologies are used in prehospital emergency care and what impact do modern technologies have on the providing of prehospital emergency care. To fulfil set goal, research study was conducted in a qualitative form via the semi-structured interview technique. These interviews were processed using open coding and after that, the analysed data were sorted into individual categories. The research sample consisted of paramedics of the South Bohemia region. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains results of the research study, in which the answers to the previously mentioned research questions were found and in addition to that also the opinion on modern technologies in prehospital emergency care from the point of view of a paramedic. In the answers of the paramedics was found, among other things, that they all agree on the fact, that the app Záchranka benefits prehospital emergency care. On the contrary, a drone, as an unmanned aerial vehicle, does not have that much of a significance for the prehospital emergency care of the Czech Republic, actually exactly half of the respondents did not have any knowledge about this medium. It was also found, that, according to the respondents, modern technologies overall significantly influence prehospital emergency care, however the experience was not always a positive one. This bachelor thesis can be beneficial due to the processed information in the theoretical part and following results in the practical part.
The concept of smart cities on the example of České Budějovice and Prague

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the concept of smart cities based on two case studies, namely České Budějovice and Prague. The first part of the bachelor's thesis focuses on theoretical findings about smart cities. It specifies in more detail the areas in which the projects or innovations of Prague and České Budějovice manifest themselves. The theoretical part is supplemented by research through a questionnaire survey. The result of the questionnaiere shows the evoluation of citizens´ awareness of this strategy and interest in individual projects in specific cities. To supplement and confirm the results from the questionnaire, interviews were held with experts dealing with the subject of smart cities.
Konzumerismus jako pedagogický problém - vybrané aspekty

This bachelor's thesis concentrates on consumerism as a pedagogical problem with an emphasis on the environment and modern technology. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the author tries to define consumerism, depicts its aspects, and describes its historical development. The author attempts to explain why children are the easy target of advertisements promoting consumer lifestyle and then highlights the positives and negatives connected to such lifestyle. The theoretical part of the thesis breaks down the impacts of this trend on the environment, and further points out the extensive use of modern technology, denoting those points as issues which the present-day society faces. The methodical part of the thesis is based on the Framework Education Programme, didactic literature, and the longtime experience of the teachers. Based on the acquired information, the author describes the possible solutions used when dealing with undesirable effects of consumerism executed by social science teachers teaching at the secondary school. Lastly, the author presents several designed lessons which are supposed to serve as inspiration for teachers struggling with how to approach and grasp such a challenging topic. This thesis aims to provide the reader with an overview of the issues of consumer lifestyle and present a layout of possible solutions to those issues from the perspective of the social science teacher teaching at the secondary school.
