Support for Playing Board Games Demonstration on Mobile Platforms

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a mobile application for the Android platform that will help the player determine the best possible move from  the captured image. The application identifies the game and extracts its current state by using OpenCV library functions. This information is then displayed to the user, who has the ability to manually adjust the game status if the game board is inaccurately read. Subsequently, the application uses the Minimax algorithm with Alpha-beta pruning to determine the best move and displays it to the user.
Village Pátek during 20th century

This bachelor thesis deals the village Pátek during the history. The main part of thesis is 19th and especially 20th century. Are important events that had a major impact on the lives of citizens. The beginning is describes several events from earlier period, which significantly changed the character of village. In the century are then collected separately and described some important points in the village, consisting primarily of buildings (mills, school) or economic sectors (fish farming), which at that time played an important role, whether cultural or business, the lives of the villagers. The focus works are the memorial books and chronicles, to a lesser extent, the recorders of the meeting of the National Committee. To complement and improve some information was also used in the memories of several witnesses.

This bachelor theses focuses on the approach of everyday life of German and Czech inhabitants in the area of the language island of Strýčice (German Die Stritschitzer Sprachinsel) between years 1938-1946. It shows the process of changes that occurred in the researched period, using the perspective of economic and social history. It compares the situation between individual villages of the linguistic island and also in its surrounding. It also provides general overview of the local economic situation. It is necessary to emphasize the use of oral history and statistics as the main methods which were used.
Roller mills of the Winternitz brothers in Pardubice

The student will write a monographic study about the automated mills of the Winternitz brothers in Pardubice. The subject of the study will be briefly considered in the context of general development of industrial architecture in the Czech lands. The author of the thesis will then explain the importance of the architect Josef Gocar regarding the Czech architecture of the 20th century. Origins of the automated mills will be put into a connection with a modernization of the city. The building itself in its primal form will be described in a thorough formal analysis and the style of the building will be characterized as well. Further development of the site will be watched in the next chapter. The study will then result into an analysis of the problem of a historic preservation concerning industrial architecture after it loses its original function, as well as the relationship between industrial and architectural heritage and the possibility of its revitalization. Development of water law in Czech lands before 1914

The purpose of this thesis was to capture the development of legal regulation of the Czech water law and of water-law relationships, and to point out that miller's law, fisheries law and navigation law are naturally related to the water law. Water transport and handling were not regulated in any manner in the most ancient times. The Czech water law was built on the heritage of the Roman legal culture. From the end of the 10th century, the first mentions of water-law relationships can be found, particularly in monarch's charters. The first important legal regulations related to water included the Mining Code (Ius Regale Montanorum) by king Wenceslas II of 1300-1305 and the Code Maiestas Carolina by king Charles IV, which was not implemented in practice, though. The so called lawbooks are another significant resource for understanding legal regulations related to water. Elements of a complex legal regulation with statewide legal force started to be applied from the end of the 15th and in the course of the 16th century - a number of municipal establishments and the code of municipal law created by Pavel Kristián of Koldín.
