Vrazne - Extension of the Zen Centre Kwan Um

The diploma project will deal with the extension of the Zen centre located in the small village of Vrážné. In general, in this landscape around the town of Jevíčko, the number of residents in these small villages and settlements is declining and the picturesque, but over time decaying farms with residential and farm buildings remain. One of the hopes of bringing life back to this gradually declining village structure is in this particular case the Zen school of Kwan Um, which bought one of these properties and began to repair it slowly. Zen meditation itself comes from East Asia, namely from the South Korea. How to transform this tradition into a rural environment, how to support the community of this school and find harmony with the whole village and local traditions? These are the questions which the diploma project will address.

A Journey into the Mind of Martin H.

The main aim of my thesis was to re-establish their former individual creation. When rendering images, I came from my heart that emotionally involved in deciding the final constellation of colors. The resulting series of images is processed oil painting technique using mainly medium formats. The composition of paintings based on geometric abstraction and draw on previous work by increasing the details of their own earlier paintings. The operational objective was to search for color variations that inherently express different emotional states. The work focuses primarily on finding harmonious interplay of color tones.
Meditation, contemplation, spirituality in art

This thesis focuses on the concepts of meditation, contemplation and spirituality in visual art. It tries to explain and describe them in the framework of artistic creation in historical and contemporary contexts, in general terms, but also in pedagogical and didactic theories and approaches. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to these concepts within art, pedagogical theory and practice, and to find out how other educators work with these issues within art classes. The theoretical part describes various artistic movements, tendencies, approaches and inspirational perspectives on the themes of meditation, contemplation and spirituality through visual or performative works and artist's statements. The practical part includes the artist's approach to these themes in her own artistic elaboration of the artist's work realized outdoors. In the didactic part, specific artistic tasks and procedures are formulated, which are realized by the pupils of the Primary Art School in Štětí. The didactic work is concluded with a questionnaire survey of 23 respondents of primary and art schools. Legitimization of dance-movement therapy as a part of psychosocial education of younger school-age children

The aim of the bachelor research is to verify the effectiveness of selected relaxation methods on the psychosocial environment in children of younger school age and based on these findings to further discuss the legitimacy of selected relaxation methods in the dance-movement course for children of younger school age. The theoretical part presents findings from developmental psychology in the field of mental and emotional development of children. Furthermore, the theoretical part maps the current knowledge about dance-movement education and defines individual selected relaxation methods, which were implemented in a research survey with children of younger school age. The empirical part presents the results of my research using a quantitative two-phase questionnaire survey and the technique of qualitative participatory observation of children of younger school age in three areas of interest: dance, movement and gymnastics.

Title: Possibilities of using the Wim Hof method as a regenerative procedure and its comparison with the regenerative cooling procedure Department: Department of Health Physical Education and Sport Medicine Supervisor: MUDr. Simona Majorová Objectives: The main goal of the thesis was to find out whether the Wim Hof method can be effectively used as a regenerative procedure between the training units, second goal was to judge on which components of after-load states the procedure has the biggest influence on. The other goals were to briefly summarize current knowledge about the basics of sports training, regeneration methods and methods of determining the effectiveness of regeneration procedures and to compare our results with knowledge in the professional literature. Methods: As one of the methods, we used heart rate monitoring during the training cycle. The second monitored parameter was the values of feeling states, which were recorded using scales modeled on the Borg scales of perceived intensity and pain. The parameters of the resulting sensation score are sleep quality, mental state, fatigue and leg pain. 10 active sportsmen aged 21-26 took part in the research. Prenatal yoga and childbirth

The purpose of the bachelor thesis entitled "Gravid Yoga and Childbirth." is to evaluate the benefits of gravid yoga on the course of pregnancy and childbirth. The thesis has a theoretical part where I first discuss the physical activity as such and why it is important for us. We will talk about yoga as a whole. I also mention the different styles of yoga and what is characteristic for them, as the research part deals with the styles of yoga in women practitioners. I then discuss trimester by trimester with individual recommendations and contraindications within pregnancy. I also discuss basic breathing and relaxation techniques that can be beneficial in preparation for birth as well as in the birth itself. The research portion then focuses directly on an anonymous questionnaire where I collect data from 103 women practicing gravid yoga. For my research, I set myself a total of 5 objectives, namely to find out whether pregnant women think yoga has an impact on their fitness during pregnancy and on the course of labour. Also to find out whether women think yoga has an effect on back and lower back pain. The third aim is to find out how many women practiced yoga before pregnancy. Psychotherapeutic methods specialized on managing stress and traumatic situations

This work deals with methods of managing stress and traumatic situations. The goal of this work is to highlight the importance of psychohygiene in our lives, as a preparation for difficult life situations. The first part of the work explains the terms stress and trauma and represents methods and types of psychotherapy. The second part of the work is focused on more specific themes such as psychotherapeutic work with body, for example bioenergetic method and yoga. Next the work explains the term psychohygiene and it describes it's most important aspects, usable in daily life. At the end the work hightlights the existence of burn-out syndrome as a very common problem of people in helping professions. This work also includes a survey which is made by a questionnaire, which studied the influence of yoga on ability of managing stress situations. A claim, which could be found in many yoga books that the yoga improve this ability, was confirmed in this survey. As a next part there is also noticed the importance of caring about parents of disabled children. Doctors and other professionals often lay huge demands on them, they are made responsible for working on their child's development, but on the other hand no one cares about their own psychotherapy and maintaining their own mental health and well-being.
