Modelling of various inventory management methods and production line delivery concepts
Kopytko, Alexandr ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is an overview of theoretical models of inventory management and their modeling in Plant Simulation software from Siemens. The modeled systems are subjected to experiments in order to determine the effects of individual input parameters on production. One of the models is extended by various handling equipment. In the case of handling equipment, the influence of control parameters on their efficiency is investigated.
Modification of material production flow of the sewing machine needles
Změlík, Josef ; Macháč, Patrik (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Main focus of this diploma thesis is the analysis and subsequent modification of production flow at a company, which is one of the world’s leading providers of industrial needles, precision parts and fine tools. Practical part of this thesis is devoted to the current flow of values and consequently describes its individual modifications. In this part the production areas are mapped, and the material handling system is described. This part also suggests a possible layout modification at the production site and simulation of proposed changes in Plant Simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. At the end of the work there are changes described that relate mainly to the philosophy 5S, kanban system or ergonomics of the workplace.
Creation of a Logistics Concept in a Selected Company
Kubisová, Iveta ; Potočník, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the logistics concept in a selected company, which deals with the production of air conditioners. The theoretical part clarifies the basic concepts and issues related to logistics, material flows, warehousing, and inventory. The practical part introduces the company, performer individual analyzes and created research. Based on this analytical part, proposals are derived for optimization and changes in the logistics area, which will help improve the management of distribution, but also warehousing in a selected manufacturing company.
Design of Material Flows in the Production Process
Jurásková, Anna ; Juřica, Pavel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of material flow and lean manufacturing in a given section of a selected manufacturing company. The diploma thesis focuses on the weaknesses of the current state of the selected workplace and defines the areas for improvement. The first part presents the theoretical basis of the work. The second part of the work is focused on analyzing the current state of the workplace. There are provided solutions for better material flow and to implement selected elements of lean manufacturing in the last part.
Design of material flow using discrete event simulation
Seidl, Tomáš ; Sedláček, Martin (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The content of this diploma thesis is to create a simulation model of the logistics chain of the production area of an industrial plant in order to design the logic control of material flow. Plant Simulation software from the company Siemens PLM Software is used to create the simulation model. The diploma thesis consists of system analysis of the researched area of the production plant. With the help of the simulation model, simulation experiments and evaluation of the obtained results are made. According to the results, the conclusions are drawn.
Comparison of material supply concepts using computer simulation
Kadlec, Tomáš ; Šacl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design of a new concept of material handling from the automatic warehouse to the manufacturing area and comparison with the original concept using computer simulation. The simulation model is created in Plant Simulation software from PLM Software. Part of the thesis is to compile a matric of experiments and perform simulation experiments in order to compare both concepts.
Design of the robotic work cell
Gálová, Eva ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to study the issue of creating a production cell and its subsequent simulation. The simulation operates with a workpiece in a robotic deburring process using a stationary robot. The theoretical part outlines the benefits of virtual commissioning, explains the concept of a digital factory and its examples, and describes robotic programming possibilities. To decide a component selection, robotic deburring and end effectors are explained. Selected components are then used in the practical part. Furthermore, for simulation purposes, one of three designed workplace layouts is selected. The software Process Simulate is used to depict the process of establishing a robotic workplace, which includes robotic operations, sensors, a material flow, and output signals. As a result, a robotic study in Process Simulate, a robotic program, and output signals are developed.
Design of a New Hall Supply System
Ťopková, Lucie ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a design of a new hall supply system of the company IMI Precision Engineering. The first part focuses on the theoretical basis of the topic. The second part, called analysis of the current state, defines supplying methods used in the company and describes the relocated production. This analysis is followed by the design part, which focuses on the design of the supply grid, regular transport of material between the old and the newly purchased hall and an internal MilkRun.
Analysis of material flow and level of inventory between production sections in time
Lanzendörfer, Tomáš ; Hloska, Jiří (referee) ; Hloušek, David (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with an analysis of material flow between manufacturing sectors connected by an intervening storage. The first part is focused on detailed analysis of logistics and inventory theory. The second part is focused on a simulation model creation. The simulations are realized in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software, developed by the Siemens company. At the end of the thesis there is a conclusion of the analyses.
Study Logistic Concept in Manufacturing Company
Flídr, Jan ; Šimeček, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the implementation of kanban system in the company Daikin Device Czech Republic s.r.o. The theoretical part describes the principles of logistics, lean production and inventory management, including their basic tools and methods. In the practical part of the thesis, Daikin Device Czech Republic Ltd. is introduced, where the analysis of the current state of supply logistics in the production hall is performed. Based on the analysis is designed kanban system including the way of its implementation. Furthermore, the risks of kanban system implementation are analyzed. Finally, the economic and uneconomic benefits of the kanban system for the company are evaluated.
