Development of transaxles in automobiles
Kubiš, Vojtěch ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned of development of transaxles in automobiles. Overview of types of axles is mentioned here as well as their working principles. Attention is also given to suspension and damping with description of how it works. In this thesis are described solutions of selected cars suspensions.
Engineering design of the vehicle suspension rocker
Poláček, Vojtěch ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Bradávka, Marek (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the design and stress analysis of the rocker suspension for an autocross car. The research describes some real cases of using suspension with pushrod and rocker in motorsport. Subsequently, the work deals with the design of the wheel bump/rebound limiting stops and bump/rebound measuring. The challenge is to design a component shape, size and select fit of a rocker with an emphasis on low weight whilst maintaining sufficient strength and rigidity. The design study include stress analysis which leads to optimize the final shape.
The Axles of SxS Vehicles
Štolpa, Radek ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals primarily with the topic of the kinematics of the wheel suspension that has a significant effect on the dynamics of the whole vehicle. The thesis gives a general overview of kinematic characteristics and their impact on driving characteristics. It deals with load transfers that occur due to lateral and longitudinal accelerations. The thesis analyses the axles of the SxS vehicle, which has wheel strokes up to 600 mm. The axles have high requirements for changes in kinematic characteristics. The thesis provides an overview of the used axles and then compares them with the original ones. The thesis contains its design of axles with the procedure and evaluation of differences compared to the other axles specified by the boundary conditions. An algorithm using analytical geometry was also created where instant centre positions, roll centres and anti-characteristics for the static position of the vehicle can be calculated. In conclusion, it contains a sensitivity analysis, which aims to acquaint with the effects of kinematic connections of double wishbone suspensions on the kinematic characteristics.
Chassis of trailer bus
Kopecký, Josef ; Černý, Jan (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
My diploma thesis is about project trailer bus for transportation of persons. It´s for SOR Libchavy spol. s r.o. This project work deals with four-wheel trailer bus for person transportation with independent suspension of all wheels and air axle suspension. All of the wheels are operated in dependence on turning trailer drawbar. Both of the axles are taken from front axle of bus SOR BN 12.
The suspension types of passenger Cars
Sedlář, Jiří ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis there is mentioned the overview of types of axles, which are used by the current cars.Their working principle is described for each type of axle and it is also mentioned an example of usage for concrete car. In the thesis are listed marks and types of cars, which use this types of axles.
Design Suspension Experimental Vehicle Group B
Šamaj, Vojtěch ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Rasch, František (advisor)
This thesis deal with a suspension kinematics of racing vehicles a specialy group B. It processes an overview of axle suspensions of racing vehicles used at 80´ last century. Than it compare kinematics variables with actual axle suspensions systems.
Wheel Alignment and Kinematic Characteristics Measurement with Use of Optical Scanners Tritop and Atos
Dvořák, Martin ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused to possibility utilizing of optical scanners TRITOP and ATOS for set up geometry of wheels. In background research are described the most important parameters of wheel suspension and devices for measuring these parameters. Practical part is concerned with progression of measurement, results and with determination coordinates of kinematic points. These points are made 3D model of forward and backward suspension wheels. This model helps to make kinematic characteristics and its progression due to attitude of wheel. In last part is described possibility to utilizing of optical scanner ATOS to common measurement of geometry wheels.
Design of Racing Car Front Suspension
Kroliczek, Václav ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with design of front trapezoidal suspension for racing car Škoda 130RS. The first part describes types of current suspensions and provides a review of important suspension parameters that have great influence to vehicle handling. The second part deals with kinematic analysis existing suspension, its modification and design of new type.
