The use of musical elements and activities at a children's summer camp

The bachelor's thesis deals with the presentation of music and related activities in the context of leisure pedagogy, with the main focus on the design of suitable activities for summer camps. The first part is focused on the theoretical presentation of leisure pedagogy, basic musical concepts and summer camps. The second part deals with designing specific activities connected with music when working directly with children at a residential camp. All activities were applied at the camp organized by the Spolkový Dům in Vlašim. The main goal of this thesis is to introduce suitable games and activities that can be applied not only at the camp, but also in other leisure facilities.

Salesian pedagogy from the point of view of employees of the Salesian youth centers.

The bachelor thesis entitled "Salesian pedagogy from the perspective of employees in Salesian youth centers" deals with the basic features of Salesian pedagogy from the perspective of employees of the Salesian Youth Center in České Budějovice. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the characteristics of the basic features of Salesian work with children and youth. The origin and history of the Salesians are explained. It also clarifies Don Bosco's preventive system and its essential pillars, which are described in detail. Last but not least, it tells the methodology of Salesian education and the work of Salesian centers. The second part of the thesis deals with the description of the research investigation, which was carried out using qualitative research conducted through semi- structured interviews. This part presents the results of the study, the aim of which was to find out how the employees of the Salesian Youth Center in České Budějovice understand selected basic features of Salesian pedagogy. This research can be used to understand Salesian work with children and youth better.

Pastoral activities in free time education

The diploma thesis deals with the cooperation of leisure time pedagogy and pastoral theology, in which pastoral activity is based, and about the existence of pastoral leisure time activities in the region of the city Pilsen. It consists of four chapters divided into smaller parts. The first chapter briefly characterizes pastoral theology, its methods, pastoral care, its methods and pastoral institutions. The second chapter describes the leisure time pedagogy, its specific methods, basic activities in human life and leisure time institutions. The third chapter is dedicated to a research, which is focused on the existence of pastoral leisure activities in institutions located in the regional city Pilsen. The last and fourth chapter describes possible ways of cooperation of leisure time pedagogy and pastoral activity through their own methods and institutions, which are typical for leisure time pedagogy and pastoral activities.

Individual guidance of children in planning leisure activities

This bachelor thesis deals with leisure pedagogy. It focuses on th leisure time of children of younger school age. Aim of the thesis is to find out trainers individual appoach to coaching for children at training camp. It is suggestion of training procedures at training camp focusing on individual development needs based on children's skills and abilities. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the pedagogy of leisure time, motivation and interest-driven activities of a child of younger school age in the field of sports in general. In the empirical part of the work is methodology of interviews and their processing. Acording to the findings, coaches approach children individually to some extent, but rather intuitively. They don't keep any paper records on their athletes. The interviews showed the established coaching practices intuitively take into account the individual settings of young athletes and how they work with their motivation for developing sport skills and abilities. Based on this outlet, a suggestion for changes to training practises has been developer for training camp on the basis of individual need of developing children's sports skills and abilities. The diploma thesis focuses on the historical development of leisure activities in the North Bohemian town of Varnsdorf. It particularly deals with the period from 1945 to 1989 in great detail. The text also contains a chapter describing general free time issues and a brief chapter devoted to the development of leisure activities in Varnsdorf until 1945. It mentions Mr. Josef Mašín as an important local personam who remarkably influenced leisure activities in the town. The influence of educational strategies in leisure time institution "Drak" on the life attitudes of children

children's lifestyle řešen problém pedagogiky volného času především z hovného. Záměrem této studie je zkoumat vlivy volnočasových aktivit na dítě. Její hlavní otázka směřuje k volnočasovým aktivitám dětí a budoucí životní styl, přístup dalšímu vzdělávání či výběru profesní dráhy. Klade si oblastech působí pravidelná sportovní činnost na rozdělena na část teoretickou a teoretické části se autorka věnuje popisu středisek volného času z různých pohledů, dále oblasti pedagogiky volného času, různým činnostem, mapuje oblast životního stylu dětí a sportovní aktivity. Součástí teorie jsou také profesní orientaci. Empirická část obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum. Výzkumné šetření bylo provedeno pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníků, výsledky byly následně analyzovány. Empirická část zjišťuje, v jakých oblastech působí pravidelná sportovní činnost na životě dětí, které byly sportovními aktivitami nejvíce ovlivněny.

Man as a person/time/freedom

The thesis is divided into six chapters. In the first part, man and time were interested i philosophy. In the second part, we dealt with human being and human existence. In the third chapter we deal with context of time and history and their importance for man and human society. The fourth chapter tries to capture the meaning of human existence and follows another chapter that tries to find out possible causes that can lead to a loss of meaning of life. The last part, devoted to free time a leisure education, aimed to show the possibilities and limits of a free time educator in helping to meaningfully live.

Chain execution as a means of education to relate to the cultural and historical heritage

The subject of the diploma work thesis is the issue of museum education in an authentic environment, namely a possible way of using the technique of chain guidance in the mediation of the cultural and historical heritage of a certain place to the wider public. The aim of the thesis is to define in the theoretical part the concept of chain guidance in the context of education in relation to cultural heritage and museum education. Practical part contains characteristics and analysis of examples of practical realizations of chain guidence in four historical objects and the autor´s own creative project of chain guidence at the Zdenka Braunerova Studio, which was prepared and implemented in cooperation with the museum and the elementary school. The practical part also includes a proposal for a possible starting point for further cooperation between the Central Bohemian Museum and the Primary school in Roztoky.
